Top pillows are reversible, giving me two looks in one. Truth be told, it is expensive to reupholster. You've got the cost of fabric plus the labour. With this said, I have never regretted spending a single penny. Open seven days a week = convenient! Now, let's all make a pact to clean out the garage so we can upcycle and make space for the car.

One of the first red flags was that Lisa does not operate under a written contract. Without a contract outlining scope, expectations, or process, important details were not clarified -- including that the original slipcovers would not be returned once deconstructed. That lack of documentation created confusion and avoidable issues later in the project. The project ultimately spanned more than six months for what should have been a straightforward slipcover job. During that time, requirements changed (she initially stated she would not need the chairs, then later required them), and portions of the work were completed by a "stitcher." The slipcovers that were delivered were inconsistent in sizing, puckered, misaligned, and only one fit properly. We returned them for correction. The final attempt removed the originally promised zipper construction and replaced it with a folded pocket bottom. The slipcovers were returned with oil stains and continued construction issues. When concerns were raised, the explanation given was that the fabric was stiff and difficult to work with. However, the issues were not related to fabric drape -- they were workmanship problems. Even after multiple rounds of revisions, Lisa maintained that she delivered the product as discussed. At the end of this process, the slipcovers were unusable, despite being fully paid for. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this workroom for slipcover construction. Clear contracts, consistent workmanship, and accountability are essential in this industry.

I was "having a day" and they couldn't have been more helpful. My latest find is their skeins of Queensland cotton worsted - the colors make my potholders sing and it has a great hand feel. She did not show up July 24, nor a further hearing Aug 25. She made no attempt to contact the court. I was given a Capius, a right to hire a constable to force her to pay me interest and principal to me on monies due. I had the right to have her arrested. Inclined to do so, I agreed to lose 1/3 my $. She is a weasel and thinks she had a right to countersue me which she did not as she had 4 months to speak her mind. Be careful, check with the Newton District Court.

We brought photos of the room, the rug, etc...and they were so helpful in choosing a fabric that brightened up the room! Our second recent project was an 1800's Victorian Corner Chair that was in the attic for years. I emailed Barry photos and he emailed right back with suggestions (to not refinish the wood as to keep the original patina) and a quote. We brought in the chair and Toni brought out various samples to choose from. The orignial silk was a teal/blue and she assisted us in finding a beautiful fabric. The chair was polished and looks just gorgeous. This family has the knowledge, the eye and the professionalism you need! And they are very responsive and super friendly.
