Many HF doctors are long in the tooth (old) and not up to date on current procedures. For example one surgeon insisted that I needed a cervical fusion when all I needed was a nerve ablation. Another HF pain doctor took 2 weeks to get a prescription to my pharmacy and then had an employee lie to me. Another time , a nerve block was incorrectly done which put me into a stupor for three weeks. Last example, a HF cardiologist wrote cardiac clearances for two procedures that I needed and the anesthesiologists refused to accept them. I got a copy of the internal HF Customer complaint process and the theme is deflect, deflect, deflect. I spoke with customer care manager Tiffany and she demonstrated how to deflect. They DO NOT want formal complaints to be filed. They don't really care like I have experienced at Orlando Health. Based on HF employee behavior, I suspect that HF uses fear to motivate their employees. Many of the doctors and support staff are incompetent. I have many examples. I try to go to Orlando Health whenever possible, or even better, drive to Orlando. Please be wary of Anything HF and get second opinions outside of HF. On the positive side, the HF MRI facility in Rockledge was excellent and the lab at Gateway is very efficient. Competency and Accountability are the HF weaknesses from my perspective.

She was Very Kind and commented on how well I had filled out our forms. She made copies of our IDs & Insurance Cards and we were in the exam room within minutes! Our Weight, Blood Pressure, Temperature, & Oxygen levels were checked & documented. The ladies were Very Efficient, Organized, & Friendly. Dr. Stember gave us a warm greeting and was very Thorough, Intelligent, Friendly, Kind, Honest, & Very Easy to Understand (No strong accent). I had Gastric Bypass Surgery in 2017 and a Bilateral-Brachioplasty & Panniculectomy in February, as well. Dr. Stember was able to talk to me about them in detail and not flinch when certain things were said. He is a Very Smart man & worth listening to. I also have an extensive medical history from when I was 375 pounds, again Dr. Stember was caring the whole way through! Now my husband was an Electrical Engineer for 30 years and had to retire because he is now legally blind. It's been very hard on him mentally and Dr. Stember could see that, so he recommended that he see a therapist. The time & attention he spent talking to us about details was Awesome & Very Thoughtful. I want to feel confident the doctor wants to "get to the bottom of the things" with a sincere attitude. This is how Dr Thaver seemed to me. We didn't do any tests in this visit. We just discussed my various issues and made a plan for the future. I cant wait to come back! The billing department will harass you for the money. I paid the $200.00 and contacted my insurance company, which told me that the billing department had coded the charge incorrectly and that my insurance had sent a check to Suntree for the amount. I had the check # and proof that it had been cashed, which I sent to Suntree. I was told that it had not been posted yet! Now Suntree had $400.00 in their pocket, and trust me, it was a hassle to get MY MONEY back! Finally, after calling several times, I was credited on my card. 2 weeks later, I received the same $200.00 bill, stating it was overdue! I have also had to wait for over 24 hours for a prescription to be sent to CVS! If you call and ask where the prescription is, they first tell you that they are TOO BUSY at the moment to send it in. The second time you call, they tell you that the Dr has not given the prescription list. This is 4 1/2 hours after your appointment. It was a Saturday, and Suntree closed at 2:00 PM, while CVS closed at 6:00 PM. Called CVS at 5:30, and nothing had been sent in! Called first thing Sunday morning and was told they were working on it! Waiting more than 24 hours for a prescription is unacceptable! Beware of Suntree Internal Medicine. Terrible practice!

The staff is very good, friendly and accommodating. Appointments are easy to get without a long wait. Even my initial visit did not take long to be seen. Having recently relocated from Pennsylvania to Florida the task of replacing my physicians was a scary one however I have no regrets with my choice of Dr Lloyd and his staff.
