I placed my 21st birthday cake order a week in advance, and was very specific about the design. pink and black heart shaped cake, polka dots, two rows of shell border on top and bottom, 21 in the middle of the cake written, and bows around the top border. And I was presented with this cake. If you're going to put ANYONE in charge of a 21st birthday cake, I'd recommend not having your least skilled cake decorator be in charge of the job. i worked in one of the departments at this store recently, which i mention so as to mitigate bias in the review to best of my ability. food - my mom bought and picked up a $5 fried fish friday meal from the grocery store deli department for me. this plate is served with two sides along with a roll or cornbread, and i got fried potato wedges and macandcheese with a roll. there are other options offered for the $5 friday deal, including fried chicken pieces i have tried a la carte before, though i got the fish to be able to put together a pre-lenten fish sandwich. that leads me to my one critique of the meal which is that the type of fish is not specified, though my best guess for which variety is catfish based off appearance or cod based off taste. regardless, the fish had a good, not very fishy taste, and both sides and the sandwich i pieced together had a good taste also, with the potato wedges being nicely crisped, and the macandcheese adding a smooth, creamy contrast in the meal. lastly, i'll take this opportunity to describe the off-brand dr. p I mentioned in my most recent review, which is a similarly tasting drink called dr. blast and is a product of reasor's corporate managing partner, though i prefer the name of the off-brand variety dr. thunder. service - my mother mentioned that the woman working the counter was the same employee who mistakenly placed all bagged tamales at a display on the floor after my mom asked if there was any of this product available. nonetheless, such a faupaux is more than redeemed by my estimation through the fresh, quality fish and side dishes, which i believe all workers in the deli section share responsibility and credit for maintaining. ambiance - although my mom picked up the plate to-go, and the styrofoam container the meal is served make it conducive for take-out dining, there is a relatively spacious indoor seating area available, that has booths, tables, and window views of the surrounding shopping center and east side of the tulsa fairgrounds. read more

18842 S. Yale Ave!!! Poor customer service, needs a new store manager!! First off I ordered a cake yesterday for today 3 o'clock. I received a phone call at 1 o'clock today saying they are all out of whipped icing for the cake so I had to get buttercream icing I go to pick up my cake at 3 o'clock and I stood there at the bakery to 4 o'clock. The cake was supposed to have a Nike or Jordan shoe and I guess no one could make a shoe, so I end up getting a hoodie with a Nike sign that looks like a square box with 2 strings. then on top of that they spelled his name all wrong but keep in mind. This cake is $60. I go to the front to ask for a discount on this wrong cake and asked to speak to a manager and she walked by me two times not even acknowledging that I was waiting to speak to her and yes, she didn't know because she was standing right there the whole time I was speaking with one of the workers to talk to a manager ! I just went and paid for the cake and let them know that that was poor customer service.! I'm requesting a manager that cares about their customers! Driving by I decided to stop and check out Reasor's Seeing a breakfast offering at their Cook House dining area I decided to try it. Their bacon was crispy with good flavor and a pleasant crunch. Their Sausage gravy was mild creamy. The biscuit was good with nice layering. A fine version of the breakfast staple. The scrambled eggs were creamy and fluffy. The hash browns were very potatoey but not crispy. All in all it was a fine breakfast much better than any fast food offerings. Since my regular Reasor's has the roads all torn up, I came here. I don't like the layout of the store, but it definitely has an excellent selection and is very clean and straight. They have beautiful fruit and veggies and a huge selection of Bob's Redmill products. They had very nice meat, but meat was not on my list today. I believe I will try their meat and fish on the next trip. They still have a pharmacy, but i didn't see phone repair. Out of all the Reasor's, this should be your last resort. Typically kind of dingy, average selection, nothing to write home about. BUT good when you're in a pinch. Tonight, we were in a pinch. Ran in, ran out (in the rain at 8pm) and our truck battery had mysteriously died. Being parked at the very front door spot, we ran in to ask the manager and/or security guard to help us out. They said, and I quote "we are on the clock. Figure it out." We ended up calling for help, and the truck started not 1 minute after jumping. It would have taken them 3 minutes TOPS including moving their car. As someone who has worked in retail for years, I can say this was some terrible customer service. especially for a store like Reasor's that typically has amazing service. Clearly, this Reasor's has a different style than most. A style I do not prefer. Do not get stuck here. You'll be blown off. In the rain. In the dark. After spending hundreds on groceries. Well of course I'm giving it 5 stars! This is "my" Reasor's after all! I love my Reasor's grocery store. Even better, I get 5 cents off gas with every $50 in purchases by swiping my rewards card. It probably doesn't save me as much as I think (being bad at math makes these things seem like better deals than they are), but better than the proverbial sharp stick in the eye! First up: Reasor's is one of the few places in town where you can buy prime beef. Almost everything in the butcher's case is prime (choice can be found prewrapped in the meat cases next to the butcher). The rib-eyes are thick, well marbled and pictured in the dictionary next to "the steak lover's steak." The filets nearly fall apart before being marinated or cooked. Even more delightful is making a stew with some prime chuck roast. Sublime. My next project is prime rib, and the butcher will order you a "prime" prime rib if you ask. A few other places carry prime rib roasts, but I haven't seen any except choice. Choice rib? I also like the Dietz & Watson lunch meats carried by Reasor's. The roast beef is rare/medium rare and paired with the horseradish cheddar makes fabulous sandwiches. Beyond the prime meats, Reasor's has a great staff and a good selection of other products including Kosher items, Mexican cokes, organic produce, sushi, bakery items and all the other standards you'd expect. Also handy is the drive-through pick-up service offered for your groceries. Perfect on those Tulsa days when it's pouring rain! read more

The only reason I'm only giving 3 stars is that at this store A) they always seem to put the slowest clerks at the express line and B) there are rarely more than 3 checkout lines open when 12 lines exist... I am a usual fan of Reasor's Been going there for years. Today I came in contact with a young girl who apparently gained the 1st management status of anything her whole life and needed to flex. Used a Veteran's Tax exempt card for years at this store. I have a picture of it on my phone in case I forget it. She demanded to see it before the discount was received. Needless to say it was at home, so....Then I call the store director who had the nerve to compare a Veteran's Tax Exempt card to a food stamp card. Are you kidding me??? read more

I'm very fond of this grocery store. Most of their prices are a little higher than Walmart, but they run weekly sales on certain items that always draw me in, if for nothing other than those items. They also run 12 hour sales every few months that are well worth taking advantage of. The store is very clean, but items are sometimes hard to track down due to poor organizing of related products. They claim if they don't have what you're looking for, they will do their best to get it. I've never needed to ask because they usually have what I want or something that is close enough to satisfy me. Their employees are friendly and helpful. They always have a security guard on duty, though I've never known them to need one. Irregardless, it makes me feel safer knowing there is one standing there at the front of the store. The only time I would ever not go to this store is during the Tulsa State Fair due to the fact that it's located right across the street from the fairgrounds and traffic can become congested round there. Even then a daytime, weekday trip wouldn't be unreasonable. They have lots of parking, and that's beneficial because they are almost always busy. The store is open 24 hours and is conveniently located near a number of restaurants and department stores. If you've never been there or are new to the area, you should check out Reasor's at least once and see it for yourself. read more

Only because I can't give less stars. Out of two Internet orders they managed to charge me five dollars for a large watermelon and only put in a small watermelon, they also left $17 worth of frozen pizzas out of the bag. Reasor's Internet order is the most incompetent service offered for groceries in Tulsa. I could go in the McDonald's drive-through 12 different times and have a higher ratio of correct orders than you do if you go to Reasor's and use their Internet shopping. the 41st St. store will put the nastiest produce in the store in your bag, the Brookside store didn't even pull my grocery order and I sat for 35 minutes and missed an appt. they wouldn't even tell me there was a problem so I have the option to leave and come back. this store screwed up the second order I did and the store on 15th St. overcharged 18 Dollars by not honoring coupon prices since it was an Internet order then they would not help me when I was picking up the order, and made me call the next day from work and then drive back a 2nd time for my refund. And they wonder why people want to shop at Amazon? I have not shopped at reasor's for two months because I've been going to Whole Foods and sprouts. Sprouts will deliver my food to my house and reasor's can't even Deliver it to me in their own parking lot. read more

I used to shop at this Reasors pretty exclusively for the past few years. I've recently started driving further away to the 41st and yale location. I feel like every time I come in, a certain security guard follows me through the store. I've never done anything to warrent the constant attention besides not being white and in an interracial marriage. Again, maybe it's my imagination, and all of the other employees are always helpful and friendly, but, regardless,the vibe is definitely better at other locations where I don't feel like I'm constantly being watched. read more

I feel the prices are higher, One thing I dont care for is the checkout I was in line once and an elderly lady had her cart stolen while paying. As your groceries are being packed the cart is shoved on up to the end of the counter making it available for someone to just move in and grab it and go on, such as was this case It was a busy time The sacker sacked it and moved on while the thief moved in and took it on out the door. I MUST say The management came over immediately and took the ladys receipt and while she sat they replaced EVERYTHING for her. with no charge But it makes me nervous not being able to keep track of my items because I am busy paying. This store is a pos, I use to work at this store during the first few years it opened. They use to stack pallets 3 rows high where the walkway on the back left side of the store. One time they stacked so much weight on the top shelf it broke and the 2 ton pallets filled with products crashed to the ground from 30 feet in the air. Luckily it was just after the store closed so no one got smashed. It could have killed someone easily. read more
