So if you're someone who likes clipping coupons and getting points, this is not the place for you. However, a lot has changed in 10 years. First of all, who uses paper coupons anymore?? Second of all, my new partner eats a lot of meat and meat prices have just gone through the roof! I was considering getting a Costco or Sam's Club membership just to cope but I thought that I would check out WinCo first. They also sent me a $10 off coupon in the mail which also motivated me. After shopping around and comparing prices, I came to the conclusion that yes, WinCo absolutely has the best prices when it comes to meat without needing to have a membership. I got a 10lb bag of chicken thighs and legs for $8! I got a 12ounce bag of meat sticks for $8 too! I also thought that their bulk bagged pricing for produce was pretty good too. As for every day staples? I didn't check everything but when it came to basics like milk and sugar, I can usually get better pricing by paying attention to deals and clipping digital coupons at Smith's. Another unique thing they have here? Deli subs! They were right around $5 when I went in there. I have not seen these grocery style deli subs anywhere since I moved here! When I was a kid, we would buy these sandwiches for an easy family picnic. You can add lettuce and tomato to dress it up a little. Definitely glad I stopped in! Thank you WInCo for the coupon! I will be back for meat!
