We arrived just a few minutes before closing, mistakenly thinking this laundromat was open 24 hours because we had it confused with another location. It was an honest mistake, and we genuinely didn't realize they were about to close, especially since the lights were on and the doors were open. We apologized once we realized, but the employee was immediately dismissive and condescending towards us. I completely understand that it was almost closing time and that she wanted to get home and I take responsibility for our misunderstanding. However, there is absolutely no reason to speak to customers the way she spoke to us, especially when we've acknowledged our mistake and apologized for it. It wasn't just that she seemed annoyed about us arriving close to closing; it was the incredibly condescending way she addressed us that made the interaction so unpleasant. Her attitude came across as if treating customers this way was completely normal and acceptable. I understand not wanting people coming in right before closing, but basic courtesy and respect should still be expected. We made an honest mistake, not an intentional attempt to inconvenience anyone, and the way we were treated was completely uncalled for. This interaction had left me with a very negative impression of this establishment, and I genuinely hope other customers are treated with more respect.
