I am very disappointed with my experience and will not return…read more I brought my wedding dress in on May 29 for alterations. It needed to be taken in at the chest, waist, and hips, hemmed to the correct length, and bustled. I came fully prepared with my shoes, shapewear, accessories, and even my veil so the alterations could be done properly. I was told my dress would be ready July 31. On July 30, I called and asked if I could pick it up August 3 and was told it was ready. I called again on August 3 before leaving home and was again told my dress was ready. When I arrived, I was handed **someone else's wedding dress**. After the confusion, I learned that my dress was actually **not ready and the alterations had not even been started**. I received a call the very next morning saying my dress was finished. Considering it had not been started the day before, I was immediately concerned that the work had been rushed. When I returned on August 6, the fit was not right. The back was extremely tight, and the fabric was bunching around my waist and hips instead of laying smoothly. When I expressed my concerns, I was told that I had somehow gained **four inches in my back in approximately six weeks**. I was also told the dress needed to be let out again and that I would have to pay an additional $125, on top of the **$625 I had already paid**. When I picked the dress up again a few days later, the bunching was still there. At that point, I was told there was nothing more that could be done. Having wedding dress alterations done is stressful enough without being repeatedly told a dress is ready when it isn't, discovering the work had not even been started, being handed another bride's dress, and ultimately leaving unhappy with the fit after paying hundreds of dollars. I took my dress elsewhere to have the alterations corrected. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this seamstress for bridal alterations. My advice- STAY AWAY!!!!

So, I haven't needed a tailor in years, but I needed some last minute alterations done, I busted…read moreout the Google-Fu and found Manny's Perfect Fit. Now, I'm not a tail-oligist or whatever tailor connoisseurs are known as, so one is about the same as the other to me; until I found Mannys. First; he took a look at my jacket I wanted altered, and honesty told me there wasn't anything he could do, and didn't want to charge me for a job that wouldn't fit anyway. I truly appreciate honesty; so I thanked him and went off to find a new jacket. Found it, and took it back to him to get a few very specific alterations made with short time. ( Less than three days). I returned, to find it perfectly done, fit like a glove and was reasonably priced to boot! Pros: Fast, friendly, professional, good prices. Is also familiar with US Military uniforms. Cons: None. If you need a tailor, I can't recommend Mannys enough!

I stopped in here to have a suit jacket taken in, and the pants taken in and hemmed. I told him to take his time, and it was done in a week for like $60. My brother said he got a jacket taken in up in NYC and they charged $65 PER SIDE. The suit looks great, the price was great, and Manny is a gem. Highly recommended
