Will be keeping him in mind for future repairs. read more

My husband and I found Nick on Yelp when we needed to get our refrigerator fixed due to the fridge not cooling. He was super responsive via calling and text. He even called me the day of our appointment and was able to get to me an hour or so earlier than the original schedule. He came super prepared and was transparent about his diagnostic process and explained his findings every step of the way. He even took time to re-explain things to my husband over the phone to keep in the loop with repairs, so that we both understood the issue and repair that he was going to make. He took car keep my kitchen clean around his space and cleaned up after himself when his repair was all done. I really appreciate that he was so thorough. My fridge is working great since the repair. The yelp reviews did not disappoint and he definitely lived up to the awesome reviews that led us to contacting him. Thank you so much Nick!! read more

Well, we had a refrigerator die and lost a lot of food. I called Niko, of Real Tech, on Tuesday evening. I called after reading some of the 200 plus 5 star reviews on yelp and he said he could be out on Wednesday morning between 10am and 12pm. His charge was $75 for the diagnosis, which would be applied to any repairs that we had him do. He asked me a series of questions so that he could prepare for the morning. I felt very comfortable using him based on the phone conversation. Very thorough, knowlegeble and very friendly. He said that he would notify me when he was on his way. He did. He called 45 minutes ahead that he was on the way and arrived a few minutes early. Niko did a very thorough diagnosis and narrowed the problem down to the compressor. I am a retired electrician and had tested to that conclusion. I had not told Niko that I was an electrician before that time. At each step of the way Niko patiently explained what he was going to and what things we could expect to see. As it turns out he had been an electrical engineer. That explained a lot. He is meticulous in his methods and documentation. He is very knowledgeable about electric appliances without being condescending. He goes out of his way to insure you that know what he is doing and why. Ours was indeed a bad compressor, one that LG has been sued about. Unfortunately the suit covered LG models only, not LG built models for Kenmore. Niko removed our old compressor and replaced it with an updated model, evacuated all of the old freon, purged the coils with hydrogen and, then evacuated the lines and installed the new freon. He then updated the control board program to deal with the characteristics of the new compressor. Niko was done in the hour and 45 minutes he promised. His work was meticulous and he cleaned up. His price was fair. He even went out of his way to trouble shoot and repair the freezer light that I had not been able to get to, at no cost. This was no simple task. He researched the problem and was able to find a broken wire in the upper door hinge wire assembly, which he reattached. That is truly going above and beyond. I am very appreciative. I will be using Real Tech and Niko again and am recommending him of my family and friends. read more

Niko came through in the clutch again! He gets the job done correctly and at a fair price.

Work was done fast and efficient. Can't thank real tech enough for getting my dryer fixed

Great fast service! Nick is really nice and detailed! He gets the job done fast and efficiently with great service and at at great price! Other companies cannot compete! He fixed my dishwasher in less than 30 minutes of arriving and even went the extra mile and adjusted it so it fit snug. It looks great and he did a great job which is more than I can say for the original installers. He even gave me a warranty and was very friendly as well! I would highly recommend Nick and his services to anyone that needs help with appliances or anything else. Look no further you have found your man, there's no technician better for the job! read more

Niko is great. I had problems after my electricity went out during a storm. He re-booted the settings on my fridge. For my electric stove-top, he showed me the damaged fuses and reviewed the options for repair. No pressure or up-selling. He was punctual, polite, and friendly. I would call on Real Tech again. read more

I reached out to several techs and Niko was the only one honest with me and talked to me like a person and not a dollar sign. He ended up doing zero work for me because after I messaged him what was going on...he very honestly said that, although, he could make money from me, he recommend at the end of the day it is better for ME to just replace the unit. I'm leaving this review as 5 stars even though I've never met him and he didn't do any actual maintenance for me because owning a home is hard enough and finding honest and trustworthy people to help when things go wrong is near impossible. And customer service is a pretty non-existent quality I find anymore. He will be the person I call to install my new dishwasher when I get one!! Thank you, Nico. You won a lifelong customer in that 5 minute phone conversation. read more

I contacted Nick last night about my dishwasher door not closing and he was able to come fix it today! He was very professional and knowledgeable, not to mention polite. He even took his shoes off prior to entering our home which was greatly appreciated. He was able to fix our dishwasher door latch pretty quickly and gave us a very reasonable and fair price. So happy I was able to find him through Yelp and I will definitely be using his services for my future household appliance needs! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Called today for dryer issues, answered quick and came same day to fix the issue. Really nice guy and works quick as-well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Second time using Nick. Our LG fridge stopped cooling. He came the same day I called him and he had a good idea it was the compressor so he had the part with him. He diagnosed the issue and it was the compressor. After talking to him we decided that it wasn't worth the repair so we got a new fridge. But he was no pressure and I would highly recommend him. I hope I don't need to see him again! But if something does break I will be calling him. read more

The best repair guy. So kind, good price, fast. I was able to get my drier repaired the same day as I called. Thank you so much!!

Awesome prompt service. Took time to educate us on how best to use our dryer after he fixed it.

If I could give this company 6 stars I would have no problem doing so! I read about Niko on Yelp and knew I could start out with a reliable person. My confidence was confirmed and not only was he pleasant and highly skilled he was patient and thorough when going through my washer and dryer. They were older models but Niko was able to get them both in great working order quickly and for the price in our budget. I highly recommend contacting Niko who I feel has a conscious, integrity and honesty as we expect a business should be! He's our go to for referrals. read more

Quick response. Good price. Professional. And I like that Nick showed me the issue with my dryer and explained everything.

Our dryer broke and I found Nick on Yelp. I sent him a message to make an appt for him to come take a look and he responded right away! Other businesses I messaged, I got an automated message asking me to call a different number. But Nick personally messaged me back right away and was able to come out and diagnose the issue in no time! He's a super nice guy. He even took the time to I explain everything he was working on, showed me exactly what the problem was and what some potential new problems we'd be facing with our dryer if we didn't replace those parts as well. He was very knowledgeable about everything and had it up and running it literally 25 minutes. Once he was done working on the dryer, he went above and beyond to tell me a few tips and tricks on how to care for the dryer a little more so that it doesn't happen again. He also took a look at our garbage disposal even though it's not what I initially contacted him for. He drew a diagram for us and thoroughly explained to us what he thinks the problem probably was. Sure enough, he was right and he got it fixed in like 10 minutes!!! Honestly, he's a super nice guy, seems very hard working, knowledgeable, and seems like he really cares about his work. We'll definitely be calling him for anything else we need. Highly recommend working with Nick! read more

My dryer suddenly had a loud sound and was not working right. I called Nick and he responded right away. He had a tight schedule and would fit me in tomorrow. I asked if there was any way he could come by today as I had just completed a load of laundry. He came out later in the day and fixed my dryer. Nick is so polite, professional, and did a great job. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again. Thank you Nick! read more

I needed my refrigerator repaired , but instead of doing costly repairs which would not have provided the desired results Nick provided me with suggestions and alternative's . A breath of fresh air for someone not to just take advantage of the situation and provide real customer service. He also fixed my dishwasher quickly and at a reasonable rate which I had been struggling with for quite some time . I would highly recommend this company for the high level of honesty and integrity!!! read more

Had a very good experience with Real Tech today. Nick put in a new water line to my refrigerator so I'm back to filtered water and ice cubes, and a dry floor to boot. Thoughtful & courteous guy. read more

Nick was swift to respond to my message and was able to come the next day to look at my dishwasher. Very friendly and respectful - wore a mask and took shoes off inside my home. Rather than charging us to repair the pump and motor, he advised it would only be a quick fix and we would be better off getting a new unit instead. Diagnostic fee was more than fair for his time. Asked him maintenance questions on other major appliances while he was here. Appreciated his honesty and knowledge and would certainly do business with him again. You can tell he values doing things the right way and is an expert in his field. read more

Nikolay arrived exactly at the stated time he said he would. He was very thorough in explaining why my refrigerator was making a loud humming noise. Because we both can't fit behind the refrigerator, he showed me through pictures of what was happening and what was causing the humming. He was very honest and explained that the fan did not need to replaced and he showed me what he did to stabilize it. He has a strong knowledge of refrigerators and knows what he is doing. If any appliance breaks down in the future, I will be calling Nikolay first! read more

My refrigerator stopped working. Nikolay responded quickly to my request for an appointment, and came as soon as he could. He was honest about my old refrigerator likely needing to be replaced, even though he could have fixed it temporarily. He was very thorough in explaining the problem and why the fix would not last. He was also very friendly and professional. I would use him again for other home repairs. Even though I just met him today, I recommend him very highly. read more

Nick is a life saver! Our refrigerator went out. I requested service through my home warranty, but they referred me to a company that had terrible reviews and the earliest they could schedule my was for over a week out. I decided I'd rather pay out of pocket than to deal with such horrible service. I reached out to Nick at 4pm. He was able to stop by at 10am the next morning. He was punctual, super knowledgeable, and just such a lovely person to connect with. The refrigerator needed a huge repair, and while the cost was pricey, he gave me a very reasonable price for the work. I took a couple hours to think about it and when I reached out to schedule the job, I was thinking it would take a few days for him to order the parts and come back. Nope! He had all the parts and was able to come by within the hour! He had the repair done within two hours. My refrigerator is back to normal and it was done so quickly! Glad I found Nick on here and definitely plan to use him in the future! read more

Believe all the positive reviews on here! My wife and I live in Curtis Park (Sacramento) and our back refrigerator gave out a couple days ago. We found Niko through Yelp and so glad we did! Responsive (came within 24-36 hours), efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. Not only walked us through each step of what he was doing... but also why he was doing it. In the end, we have a working refrigerator again! Well worth the cost (which was also very reasonable). Thanks Niko! Will absolutely be using him for any appliance issues in the future! read more
