Nick was swift to respond to my message and was able to come the next day to look at my dishwasher. Very friendly and respectful - wore a mask and took shoes off inside my home. Rather than charging us to repair the pump and motor, he advised it would only be a quick fix and we would be better off getting a new unit instead. Diagnostic fee was more than fair for his time. Nikolay arrived exactly at the stated time he said he would. He was very thorough in explaining why my refrigerator was making a loud humming noise. Because we both can't fit behind the refrigerator, he showed me through pictures of what was happening and what was causing the humming. He was very honest and explained that the fan did not need to replaced and he showed me what he did to stabilize it. He has a strong knowledge of refrigerators and knows what he is doing. Nick is a life saver! Our refrigerator went out. I requested service through my home warranty, but they referred me to a company that had terrible reviews and the earliest they could schedule my was for over a week out. My Samsung refrigerator was making a loud noise and Nick was awesome. YES the reviews are true. He worked around my schedule. He was professional, prompt, courteous but most of all he answered all my questions, and I had a lot of them. He made me/us feel comfortable with what he was going to do. Nick was able to schedule our appointment immediately, with a frantic wife, he came over the next day, quickly diagnosed the problem with our LG Refrigerator/Freezer, gave us a very competitive price to fix the compressor, quoted 2-2.5 hours to complete the job, was done in 1.5 hours. Fridge is currently continuing to get down to normal desired temperatures. Nick was fantastic! Our washing machine had been leaking water for months, and the lint screen in our dryer wasn't sitting properly, so clothes kept getting caught and tangled up in the corner of the screen. I messaged Nick on a Saturday, he responded immediately, and came out a couple hours later! He was very thorough, and explained the problems, one of which was a broken pump in the washer. He happened to have a new/replacement pump in his car! So, he fixed all the problems, SAME DAY, and on a Saturday at that! And, he was super nice, and professional. I asked Nick, from Real Tech, to do a second (different appliance) repair for me since I was so satisfied with his first visit to my house. My 19 year old Jenn Air range gas cooktop was no longer working properly--one burner didn't ignite at all and 2 others sputtered. Nick took it apart, cleaned rust out and got it working again in about 15 minutes. For $100, he anticipates my range, which I really like, will function for another 4-5 years.
