My washing machine had a clog in the drain pump and wouldn't drain. Niko came out and took care of it and got everything working again quickly. He was able to remove the hair tie and bobby pin that got tangled up in the drain line. There were no parts that needed to be replaced and everything was working correctly, he was honest about the problem and didn't try to sell me extra things that I did not need. Communicated well, providing accurate timeline and information. Showed up right on time and let me know when he was on his way. Provided accurate price estimates and stuck to his promises. read more

Nico was incredibly responsible and flexible to our schedule. Found out about an oven issue on Monday and Nico was here the very next day. He asked a lot of questions to help try and diagnose ahead of time to save us time and so that he could be prepared. He still did a full diagnostic when he got here but he had everything he needed already. Competitive pricing. Extremely kind and professional. Has no problem answering the questions we had and explaining what caused the issue. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. We will use him going forward. read more

I had a problem with my dryer on a Sunday morning and I called Niko and he came over on his day off and fixed my dryer very fast and very well. He is patient and very kind! My husband I first thought it was the heat sensor because my dryer wasn't turning hot. He diagnosed it and it was something else. He fixed the problem. We are very pleased. We value his time. Hired Niko & Alex to look at an electric stove with broken burners and broken microwave latch. He was able to overnight the parts and get it working inside two days. I was prepared to be price gouged with the estimate, but the cost was more than fair and saved me hundreds vs buying new units. He was responsive over text and arrived early in the time window both days. Would hire again when something else breaks. read more

Frigidaire stand-up freezer not working: I got a quick response to my request and a consultant's time. Once they arrived, they assessed the issue and explained the problem and the solution, along with a price quote (parts, labor, and time for repairs). Once the price was agreed upon, the technician went to work, and the issue was repaired that day. I am very happy with the work that was done. read more

I checked Yelp for a refrigerator repair service and, though all the recommendations sent were rated in the high 4s, Real Tech was the only one with a solid 5 stars. I suspect all of the five options would have offered good service, but Nico's promptness, his attention to detail, his knowledge, and his willingness to explain the problem and the solution, were above and beyond my expectation. He is honestly a gentleman, friendly, and all about excellent service. He deserves every one of the 5 star reviews and I'll call him again for any appliance service I may need. read more

Very professional and explained to us what was wrong with the ice maker and that he was able to fix it at a reasonable price.

Our 7 year old GE dryer suddenly started making some scraping sounds. We got a timely response from Niko that they could come out the next day on a Saturday (and also a holiday weekend) to take a look at it. His brother Alex quickly diagnosed that the issue was a broken front drum bearing and broken glide/worn felt. They were able to come out right after the holiday to install the new part. Alex showed up on-time/early both times and contacted us prior to arrival. Alex also vacuumed the inside of the unit and at no extra charge even spent some extra time scrapping out/cleaning some melted sticky candy that had coated part of the inside of the drum after we had accidentally thrown pants in the dryer with candy still in the pocket. Niko explained all repairs well. The price was reasonable and the dryer runs quietly and like new again. We would definitely use them again. read more

Real Tech performed a diagnostic on our washer and found it just needed a reset and calibration. Alex also removed a nickel that was stuck in the drum and making grinding noise during the wash and spin cycles. I really appreciate the extra care Alex provided to just charge us the diagnostic fee. I also need to mention Alex showed up on time and was very professional through the entire service. Thank you Real Tech! read more

Reached out through Yelp and got a few responses back on a Friday. Niko was able to get Alex to come same day and confirm replacement of globe ice maker in our LG fridge. After an initial deposit he said they expected to get the part by Mon and would shoot for install then as well. Really impressed with the quick turnaround overall. Alex and Niko are both very cordial and come across as very professional. Cost wise they came in about 80$ higher then the other quote I received. read more

The owner was professional and provided outstanding service on our LG refrigerator. Will definitely refer to more people.

This brother duo is the real deal. Very efficient and communicative. My oven hadn't been working for a bit over a month before I started looking into having it repaired. Alex came over and diagnosed it within an hour. It was the control board, which needed to be ordered. Less than a week later, I had a working oven! The replacement price was reasonable and transparent. Thank you both, Alex and Niko! read more

I reached out to Niko and he reached back out in a timely manner. I have an old dryer that was making noises and had a burning smell whenever I used it. My schedule was a bit all over the place, but Niko was flexible when it came to my schedule. He arrived, told me it would take a little bit over an hour, and fixed everything UNDER an hour as a one man army. Great pricing and great person. Make sure to tip him if you do want to get serviced by him. He's worth it! read more

I cannot recommend Niko and his brother Alex enough! Clear communication, quick response time ANNNNNND it was fixed within 3 hours of me contacting them. He even showed me the broken piece of my washer (used a tester), then the replacement piece (and displayed it working properly). My Samsung dryer has been making noise for months and about a day ago, stopped getting hot. I reached out to Niko and he was able to send someone out the next day. Niko is the man! Our tenant's microwave stopped working, so I decided to find someone to repair it. Out of 5 different businesses I messaged, Niko was the first to respond (within seconds). My dryer wasn't drying my clothes. Requested the quote on Yelp at 10am. Got a response instantly. Alex came to my house within 2 hours and fixed my dryer in about an hour and was done by 1pm. Not only did he fixed my broken dryer, he showed me the defected part (the coils were obviously burned and broken) and he vacuumed the area making it look good. Would recommend this company for your appliance needs. I googled how to fixed the problem, but when it said I had to take the whole damn dryer apart, that's when I knew I needed an expert to get the job done. And I am glad I went with Real Tech, Alex was amazing. Thank you. read more

Nico & team came out, diagnosed the problem, picked up a replacement part, and had our fridge working again in a few hours! Great service!

I can now see why Real Tech has over 400+ 5-star reviews! I reached out to them on Monday afternoon, which happened to be a holiday, for a quote to diagnose an issue with my oven. Despite the holiday, they responded quickly and scheduled me for the next afternoon with a convenient 3-hour window. To my surprise, they were able to arrive an hour earlier than expected, which worked out perfectly with my schedule. The technician was extremely professional, removed his shoes before entering my home, and took the time to thoroughly discuss the issue with me. Their $75 diagnosis fee is a great deal, as it gets deducted if you move forward with a recommended service or repair. While here, they also went above and beyond by providing a repair quote for my microwave handle and even helping me with a sticky lightbulb! I love supporting locally owned businesses, and Real Tech definitely deserves the praise. I highly recommend them and will absolutely use their services again in the future! read more
