After telling Carlos the issue, he replied, "I am 99.5 percent sure I know what the problem is." He was right. Refrigerator's compressor went kaput. Was quoted the price and shot him a photo of the fridge's model tag and he was over in a flash. Probably could have timed him with a stopwatch he was so quick and efficient. He was also incredibly respectful and courteous. Refrigerator is back in working order and, more importantly, I now have a reliable go-to contact if I have any appliance issues in the future. Highly recommend. read more

Our 21 year old GE Monogram refrigerator quit cooling, creating a late night emergency. I called Carlos early the next morning and he was at our house within the hour. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a dead compressor. He obtained the necessary parts and had the frig working like new by noon, and at a reasonable price. read more

I called Carlos on a Saturday evening when our LG clothing dryer would not start. He answered the call, informed me that he charges $60 for a service call, applied to a repair the customer wishes to proceed. This seemed reasonable, so we made an appointment for the following Monday morning. Monday, Carlos texted me early in the morning, letting me know that he would arrive within half an hour, assuming we still needed his help. I confirmed, and he came on time, ready to work. He neatly and efficiently dismantled the dryer and identified the part that was broken. Gave me a quote for the repair, and let me know that he did not have that part with him, so he would need a couple hours to pick it up. When he returned with the part, he installed it, reassembled the dryer and tested everything. He then advised us to do a vent cleaning (something he does not do, but he does have contacts) to avoid another failure. I found him to be very capable, a really nice person, reliable and offering fair prices for his services. Should we have an issue with another appliance, I would definitely hire him again and I fully recommend him. read more

After calling our regular appliance repair shop & not hearing back from them right away, I researched online and found Advanced Appliance Repair with great reviews. I called Advanced Appliance and spoke to Carlos. Explained the issue as we had some water coming out in the front of our newer refrigerator. Carlos stated he could come by today. He further explained there was a $60 fee, but if we proceeded with the work it would count towards the final bill. Carlos came out to see if he could repair our water issue. He was at our home within an hour or two. He located the problem and cleaned the area causing the issue. Carlos was personable, cleaned the area and has some happy new customers. Thank you for coming out so quickly & resolving our issue, Carlos. Raelyn & Steve Mobley read more

Advanced Appliance Repair - Appliances & Repair Near Me

We recently had our older LG front load washer start leaking from the bottom between the washer and the pedestal. Did a quick search of my Yelp history and found Advanced Appliance Repair - they fixed my refrigerator in my office about 6 years ago and did such an amazing job. I emailed late on Wednesday night and got a text right back. They were out Thursday morning and quickly diagnosed the issue (broken cold water intake pump). They replaced the hot water one as well since they were both the same age. They credit their $60 service fee toward the cost of the repairs which is super amazing. Prompt, courteous and excellent at what they do. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Looked over the reviews here on Yelp and took a chance. What a great experience. Carlos came right out, analyzed the issue with my almost new LG refrigerator and gave me directions on what to do to help him diagnose the problem. Once his suspicion of a bad compressor was confirmed he was back about three hours later and replaced the compressor. Job well done!!! Price was right about what I expected. Overall can't say anything negative about the entire experience (except that LG products suck). read more

Carlos from Advanced Appliance Repair is the real deal. He answered the phone at 0710am on December 26th (which already deserves a gold star), was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable over the phone, and came out the same day to fix my mother's refrigerator. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the compressor, explained everything clearly, and had the fridge up and running without wasting time. Carlos was professional, efficient, and just an all around nice guy, the kind of technician you actually feel comfortable having in your home. In a world of missed calls, long waits, and vague answers, Carlos was the opposite: responsive, honest, and fast. Highly recommend if you want the job done right the first time. read more
