I had a dryer that wouldn't get hot. Tried other "best" appliance repair in the area; "We can get to you in a week". Then I found Niko (Real Tech) on Yelp and he answered right away, told me he could be there in a two hour window and even texted me when he was on his way. The work he performed was awesome, great customer service great diagnostics had the factory parts needed for the job and I now have a dryer that will last for years to come. Someone recommended him on NextDoor, so I decided to give him a call. I was calling about my dryer, and all he needed was three things: my name, my address, and the brand of the dryer. Told me he could make it the next day or two days from then if he wasn't able to make it the next day. He texted me the next day and was there within the hour. He did a great job of explaining what was wrong with it and what parts and work was needed. He was finished within the hour and my dryer was working perfectly. Nick gives excellent service. I am looking forward to having him work on my other faulty appliances in the future. read more

Just got my fridge repaired by Nick. I'm not sure if he normally does this but he agreed to come by my place on a Saturday and take a look. Which to me, a fellow self employed business owner, is a sign of someone who is serious about their business. I appreciate that. He let me know best and worst case scenarios and then proceeded to get to work. (Fortunately for me, it was best case scenario). Completed job, paid the man and got on with my day. Once again, Nikolay did an amazing job today. After he fixed my freezer the other day, he had to order a new ice maker as it was broken also. Nik brought it today and installed it! What sets Nik apart from all the others I have had in the past is his dedication and determination to make sure everything is right. The switch on my ice maker was also broken, and Nik used his brilliant mind to be able to fix it with a nail and some glue. BRILLIANT!! He is on time and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Fantastic service...and quick!! Niko responded immediately to my text about my Whirlpool refrigerator problem (water accumulating on the floor of the freezer). This was not an emergency, but within 24 hours, Niko was here and the problem was fixed. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and fully demonstrated and explained exactly what was wrong. Before beginning any repairs, he told me exactly how much the repair would cost. He was such a nice man, personable and funny, a true gentleman (he wouldn't let me do any removal of freezer items..."That's my job," he said.), and was an absolute joy to work with. I'm so thankful I found Niko and know he will always be there for me in the future. Thank you, Niko!!! read more

Nick was great! Very honest about what was wrong with my oven and gave me options to either fix it myself or let him fix it. He says he is still learning English, but I found his English to be very understandable and easy to follow. His price for the diagnostic was fair, and his willingness to answer questions was greatly appreciated. Nick was responsive and quick. He can in did his diagnosis and said he can fix it (compressor). Got the job done in about 2-3 hours (including diagnostic). However after the job my ice maker wasn't working anymore when I inquired about it, he said it was two separate job between the compressor and the ice maker. It was working prior to the compressor fix. Coincidence chain of bad luck on my part? Anyways he said he was busy and would get back to me but never heard back. So .. that's my experience for whatever it's worth. read more
