Deb P. Nick was very knowledgeable & I found him very easy to talk with on what was wrong with our refrigerator. He immediately measured the temperature of both freezer & fridge & they were both good. What was needed was a good cleaning of the coils with the back taken off and vacuumed thoroughly. Miraculously, the temp in the fridge went down 7 degrees. He was very fast & proficient. Thank you again, Nick, for your professional job. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company! Nick is such a nice person. He came the SAME DAY that I asked for help and was so friendly and professional. He got our dryer working and explained all the steps. He also gave me good advice on setting to use when drying. As a busy Mom with 2 boys, I wash and dry every day. I was so thankful for the fast response. Cannot wait to use him again. A+++ read more

I am here to affirm that all the 5-star reviews that have been given to Niko of Real Tech are warranted. He is an EXTREMELY honest person and I trust him with all my appliances. His knowledge is impressive, and he is very quick to diagnose and recommend the best options to save you time and money. Niko is a breath of fresh air compared to many of the other companies that just view you as an income. His prices are very good and just by talking with him, my husband and I were able to make the best decision regarding our KitchenAid double oven. From now on, I will contact Niko for all my questions or concerns regarding our appliances. What a great person! read more

Best repairman I've ever worked with! I used Yelp's "request quote" feature. Within minutes I had 5 quotes. Nico called to follow up on his text and answer any questions. He had excellent reviews, a reasonable price, could come out the same day, so I hired him. He arrived on time, performed the diagnostic and told us what the repair need is. He repaired the fridge perfectly! He is very careful and thorough. Nico is now my only appliance repair guy! read more

Great and fast service. Niko was actually available on the same day I messaged him through Yelp. Price is reasonable.

Niko from Real Tech is amazing!! I reached out to him to help my father with his LG refrigerator. Niko responded swiftly, kept me in the loop, and most importantly fixed the problem!! I would highly recommend Real Tech to anyone looking for reliable appliance repair! read more

Highly recommended! Niko was very helpful to us. He came out to diagnose the problem with our 16 year old refrigerator. We thought the compressor was failing from the sounds the unit was making. Niko not only confirmed this but clearly explained what had likely happened to it. (He was a wealth of knowledge about the LG compressor in our Kenmore Fridge). He quoted us a price to replace the compressor and was very clear on the work he would do. The price was very reasonable. And we confirmed with a reputable appliance company that his price was on par with what others would charge. We opted to get a new refrigerator rather than have our old unit repaired. Niko's fee of $80 to come out and thoroughly diagnose the problem was completely reasonable. English is his second language and he was very concerned about communicating clearly. I never had a difficult time understanding him and in fact he communicates better and with more detail that some native English speakers! Thanks, Niko. We will use your services again the next time we have an appliance problem. read more

I was extremely impressed with Niko's immediate response time. Once I booked an appointment through yelp, he contacted me and let me know that he could actually come that SAME day as he had some other work in the area. I needed my dryer to be repaired because it was not producing any heat. Other companies were hard to get ahold of, did not have appointments for another 2 weeks, and had high estimate rates. Niko was respectful in all aspects, kind, and passionate about his work. He is inquisitive and likes to determine not just WHAT needs to be fixed, but also WHY the issue was caused in the first place (hence his engineering background). He completed the job the same day. He explained anything that I had questions about in terms that I could understand, without ever being condescending. He gave me a 30 day warranty incase the issue arises again, which it never did. For the super quick response times, great personality, and great experience, my family will call Niko again for future house work. Thank you Niko! read more

Niko is such a great guy! He has helped me twice now, once for my fridge and once for my dryer. Both times he has been reliable, quick and knowledgeable. He is very responsive and a great communicator. He also has very reasonable prices and always goes above and beyond in his service! I absolutely recommend him for any appliance issues. read more

I called Niko, late Thursday afternoon, he was very honest and transparent about availability and costs. He gave me a window of 3 hours on Friday morning, Sergio was at my home within 1 hour, he inspected, told me what was wrong and what my options were, I went with repair, Sergio was done within 30mins. I am very happy with Niko and Sergio. Thank you for your service! read more

This is our first home and first time needing fridge maintenance, so I sent a request for services through Yelp and Niko responded within minutes. His reviews speak for themselves and I knew he was the right person to ask for help. Having someone come to your home means you are trusting them to be helpful, kind and honest and Niko was all of those things. He was honest about what was wrong and what the cost would be, he explained everything in details that I could easily understand having no appliance repair experience. He advised us that it would make more sense to go with a new fridge (we currently have a used one) that would come with a warranty, or he could fix it but there could be more problems down the line that would add up in overall cost and just wouldn't make much sense to do. We paid him for the diagnostic and it was the best money spent because Niko provided so much knowledge and helped us with more insight into how the fridge needs to be installed, the best brand in his opinion (Bosch), information on the size needed and the best placement for the new fridge. We are currently looking at new fridges now, but we will always go to Niko when we need need help on our major appliances and HVAC in the future. read more

Exceptional, honest, and reliable service. Nikolay was very communicative prior to the service making sure he knew exactly what I needed and the time he could come by to repair my dryer. He not only was ready to fix the issue (I provided him brand/model and a detailed description of the issue), he is honest, willing and open to show me the value of the part that was needed for the repair. Overall, I highly recommend him and will call him in the future for any further needs. read more

I cannot say enough praise about Nick! There are literally no negatives! Trust this man with your business. For those who just want the highlights, here's why Nick is amazing at his job! - Excellent communication and follow-through! - Proactive, punctual, prompt - Transparent and honest - Professional and knowledgeable about his craft - Thorough and conscientious - Respectful of our home and time - Fair and reasonable rates - Goes above and beyond - Just a truly nice human being For those who want details, or are maybe questioning, like I did, whether his crazy good Yelp rating is true--it is. If everyone has the great experience I did, you'd easily see why! I requested a quote from a different company to have my ovens fixed (error in the digital controls) and Yelp so kindly offers the handy option to contact related businesses for additional quotes. THANK GOODNESS for that or I might have missed out. Nick was the first to respond, and incidentally had the best rates. I'm usually not a go-with-the-lowest-bid type, but based on Nick's stellar ratings, I thought I'd give him a shot. I am NOT sorry! To expand on the points above: - Excellent communication and follow-through! Nick communicated proactively and clearly about the appointment and what to expect. Now that he has completed the work, he promised to contact me in a month to verify that the ovens are working as expected, if he doesn't otherwise hear from me. I appreciate that he has integrity, accountability, and pride in his work--clients are not just a "well now I can dust off my hands of that one". - Proactive, punctual, prompt: Nick arrived on time both times he was here--and not at the tail end of the window, either. Both times, he also texted to let me know when he was on his way over. I liked that because I don't like to wonder and just sit around waiting. He had to come out the first time to troubleshoot, then order a part and return. He ordered the part when he said he would, and kept me updated a few times on the part and our follow up appointment--I never had to chase him down or wonder what the status was. - Transparent and honest, professional and knowledgeable about his craft, thorough and conscientious: Nick took time to troubleshoot the issue, showed me the findings with the oven electronics/control board, explained his justification, and explained what to expect if I chose him to proceed with repairs. Since I decided to proceed, he assured me that if the part he would replace did not solve the problem, he would return to figure it out AND would refund the cost of the service. Basically, no risk to me. I'd be a fool to say no. While he was here doing the repairs, he was careful to protect our kitchen floors and surfaces, kept a tidy and organized work area, ensured my safety and his own in terms of managing the electrical breaker, exposed electrical parts in the oven, and after running the repaired oven to be sure it was functional. He even cleaned up the crumbs and things that were in our ovens, which I had NOT expected him to do but like I said, he's just a really nice human being! Nick would not accept payment until the job was completely done, and when I accidentally overpaid him, he immediately contacted me and issued a refund of the overpayment. - Respectful of our home and time: He was extremely respectful of our house and just generally in his nature. Removed his shoes, did not assume he should just head to the kitchen the moment he walked in, just really respectful. - Fair and reasonable rates: He waived his visit fee, didn't upcharge us on the part that needed replacing, and didn't fluff the labor fee. (Other companies I'd heard quotes from didn't even roll the visit fee into the cost of repairs, let alone waive it) - Just a truly nice human being! Zero bad vibes, zero shadiness, just a good person. So proud of his family, a hard worker, and thoughtful. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Nick! read more

Nick id a fantastic technician and very personable. I highly recommend him.and will use him again for any appliance repair.

Nikolay is very experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and provides good customer service. He explained our washer's issues very well and if it is worth to repair or replace it. He is a funny guy too. Good job! read more

2 weeks ago our refrigerator started to go out so I hop on yelp and immediately begin to call around for quotes. Most of the business I called could not make it out for a couple days and with a warming fridge/freezer of course that is not an option. In comes Real Tech (Niko) to save they day. I called Real Tech on a Monday evening and was offered an appointment the next day. ( I even missed a call back that evening where Niko offered to come out right away as he understood the urgency of the situation, but unfortunately I missed the call.) So Niko comes out the next day and was able to diagnose the issue quickly and got the new fan ordered and installed within 2 days. Niko was quick, super friendly and knowledgeable. I would both use his services again as well as refer him to anyone I know. Thanks, so much for the stellar work my friend! read more

I hired Nikolay to do some work at my mother's house. His response time was immediate. Somehow, he accommodated my request for the same day. I know he gave up personal time in order to fit us in. Very fair prices. He was extremely honest in his recommendations/advice during the entire process. Nikolay went above and beyond to help fix the issues my mother was having with various appliances throughout the house. I had initially requested him to fix her dishwasher, but since I'm super annoying and obsessive, I kept asking him to look at other items in her house while he was there. He was so patient with me while he addressed each additional request I made. He told me what he COULD and could NOT do. He wasn't wanting to just take my mother's money. He wanted to help provide her with the best possible outcome, while still providing her with the best possible price. Nikolay has integrity. He obviously takes pride in his work and gives honest advice. He was so respectful and focused...even with both of our dogs barking the entire time!!! Our chihuahuas told me they are very VERY sorry. read more

My dishwasher was having draining issues and I needed someone reliable and trustworthy to fix it as soon as possible. I searched Yelp and reached out to multiple appliance repair companies for appliance repair. Nick was the first person to respond to me within minutes of reaching out to him. This was around 8 or 9pm on a weeknight. I chose Nick because he had the best reviews and best customer service of all the other companies I contacted. I was happy and relieved that I got such a fast response. Nick was able to schedule an appointment for two days later (which was a Saturday and his day off) to come run a diagnostic check on my dishwasher. Today, Nick arrived at my house at the time he promised. He thoroughly checked my dishwasher and determined that the water pump was broken. Thankfully, he had the extra piece that was needed in his truck and told me he would be able to fix it today. Nick fixed my dishwasher within 30-40 minutes of arriving at my house and made sure everything was running smoothly and properly before he left. Nick's services are reasonably priced and he is trustworthy and honest. Nick saved me from spending a lot of money on a new dishwasher. If I ever needed another appliance fixed, I would call Nick in a heartbeat. read more

In May 2022 my fridge stopped cooling and I needed it to be checked out. Found Nick on yelp and it was easy to contact him through the yelp app. Nick was on time and very professional. He explained to me that there is a leak in the cooling system and it would cost around a thousand dollars to replace. He advised me against it since my fridge was over 10yrs old. He refilled the Freon to give me some time until a new fridge (which was on backorder) was delivered and installed. This cost me 200$ for the Freon and his time. I contacted him again in March 2023 about my dishwasher leaking. Again Nick was on time for the appointment and thorough in checking out the dishwasher. Turns out the float was dirty and stuck and my seal around the dishwasher door shifted. read more

Our refrigerator had started failing quickly on a Sunday evening and i looked up several appliance repair companies on Yelp. After finding Real tech and reading some reviews of other companies as well as Real Tech, I decided to call to arrange an appointment. I texted Nico who responded quickly on a Monday and stated he could come out by Noon. I set the appointment and he came out and diagnosed the problem right away. He gave us a good estimate which i felt was a good value for all the repairs to be completed. NEVER felt he was hustling us. Luckily he had the parts in stock and made a great repair. He is thorough and keeps you informed about every part of the repair. I will definitely use Real Tech again if in need of an appliance repair. read more

Same day service. Knowledgeable, he could have sold us a new drain pump for the dishwasher - when really it was just a clogged drain. A piece of broken class was wedged in the pipe leading to the garbage disposer - making the dishwasher have an error code. Honest, forthright. I would use them again. read more

We had a problem with our GE 30inch double oven. I am very skeptical of yelp for appliance repair but I wanted to give Nick a shot with all the 5 star reviews and it paid off. He was fast in response and gave a fair diagnostic price. Nick ended up fixing our double oven even though my oven is fairly new, it was just a bad situation we were in. I'm glad he was able to fix it and I did not have to go the route of getting a new one. I will definitely go with Nick with future appliance repairs, but hopefully none soon. read more
