All the Yelp five star reviews and fast response times are what got me to give Real Tech a call. My warranty service could not send someone out today and I was going out of town for a week and needed the issue addressed ASAP. Niko responded super fast to my initial text message and arrived less than two hours later, texting when he was on the way. He was up front about pricing, explained everything he would be doing. He had the problem diagnosed in less than 2 minutes and showed me the issues that were causing the problems. He had the fridge repaired in less than an hour. Great communication, professional and friendly. I will for sure use Niko and Real Tech in the future, should I need anything else repaired. Oh, and like I have seen other reviews mention - he gave me some great advice on how I could remedy a stove issue on my own - the digital clock losing parts of the numbers in the display. It's rare to get advice for free and I really appreciate it. Thank you Niko! read more

I'll start by saying, I selected this business based on the reviews. I needed help with my fridge and I'm always skeptical about selecting specific businesses. Well the reviews don't lie. Niko was fantastic! He talked me through and explained every step that he was doing. He was very thorough in checking his work, but he didn't take a long time getting the work done either. He's very personable and overall this was just a great experience for resolving an issue that could've been drastic for me. I would recommend/refer Niko to anyone who needs repair service. Niko keep up the good work! read more

Niko is incredible, and we will never call anyone e else for appliance repair. I told my wife that we were "reverse mechanic-ed" because he gave us the most cost effective information even though it meant less work for him. Also, he is very pleasant and polite. Our fridge/freezer died. We called him that night, and he was out (to Land Park) to check on our fridge for for his diagnostic price the next morning at exactly the time he said. He analyzed everything and explained each piece that was working, that wasn't working, and why. The compressor was dead, and he offered to fix it, but in this case showed us all the pricing and why it would make sense to buy a new one. He had a temporary fix if we needed it to last a couple more weeks, but let us know that between the parts and labor, it would make sense to get a mini-fridge while we waited (again talking us out of paying him). We ended up just paying the diagnostic fee and ordering a new fridge, and that diagnostic was some of the best money I could spend. He will DEFINITELY be getting any calls from us as we trust him completely now. I hope it won't be any time soon for us, but if you're on this page looking for someone, he is your guy. read more

Niko is the best technician I've come across in years. Punctual, clear communication, fast, precise, honest, resourceful and full of helpful (free) tips. Think of a positive adjective and it likely applies. Don't do yourself a disservice... I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. They were out to the house in less than 2 hours and it was late in the day! Dishwasher was showing a code for an internal leak and they educated us that they could fix it or we could replace it at some future point. Alex showed us how to run it to get along but we will likely replace it in the kitchen remodel we are about to start. We so appreciate professional service and these folks gave us that. Don't waste your time calling anyone else as these guys can't be beat. read more

Real Tech - Newly installed Dishwasher! - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Elk Grove, California

My review comes super late. I called Real tech to come look at my washing machine that was only one year old. Nick answered very fast and was out to my house the next day. He spend a good hour and a half on my washing machine trying to find out what was wrong. He told me he wanted to make sure I didn't have to pay for expensive parts if I did not have to. He found out the problem was the control panel. He suggested I buy a new washer because it was not worth the money to replace the panel. I appreciate his truthfulness and his thoroughness in trying to fix my washer. I would recommend him to everyone I know. read more

Such a great experience. He was able to do a temporary fix to my washing machine and only charged me a minimal service fee. He took his time to explain that my pump was on its last leg and the repair cost would be close to what a new washer would be. Very honest and thorough. I will be calling and recommending his company to friends and family. read more

Nikolay has helped us out before. Provides same day service & follow up. Thank you.

Niko was OUTSTANDING! Excellent communicator, arrived at the beginning of his time window, and was clearly so knowledgable. He was warm and friendly, and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. He walked me through what he was doing and why, and he did a thorough diagnostic check to make sure the core problem was solved. I called him because my refrigerator wasn't cooling down, and he was able to find the problem and implement the solution quickly and effectively. My fridge is running great, and I will absolutely be calling Nico for all my refrigerator needs in the future! read more

Niko's service was superb - he fixed our Thermador oven and generic-brand hood fan and we're so happy with him & his work. He's exactly what you want from an appliance repair person - responsive, fast repair, had the parts, puts everything back the way he found it, and cleans up. I was dreading how much it would cost to fix the oven, so I haven't gotten it fixed for almost a year, BUT Niko's pricing was super reasonable. Such a lovely person and I highly recommend him! read more

Very fast and reliable service for my dryer that was no longer heating. Great communication and excellent prices on top. Highly recommend!

Niko is responsive, friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. He responded to my first text in 17 minutes, then exchanged messages to set an appointment for the next day. He shared his pricing and payment terms up front. He sent an alert that he was on the way about 15 minutes prior to arriving. Once on site he was courteous and friendly, he looked at the appliance (washing machine) as I explained the issue. He found the problem and informed me of what he did, why the issue occurred and how to avoid that problem in the future. He cleaned everything up as if he was never there and then shared a wealth of knowledge and offered to send any appliance manual (electronically) if I sent him the part number of the appliance (any appliance). His price was very reasonable. He's old school (small town demeanor) in that he knows what he's doing, is willing to share his knowledge, is reliable and likeable, yet professional. Also, he followed up, after the appointment to ensure all was still well. read more

Repaired our leaking LG washing machine on the same day that we called - price was reasonable and Nico was well prepared and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend! read more

Our LG refrigerator unfortunately stopped cooling and had started leaking a lot of water onto the floor. I called Nick and he was quick to respond by coming out same day. Before even stepping into the house he asked if we felt comfortable with him coming in with or without a mask and also asked about our comfort level with him wearing shoes, which was EXTREMELY thoughtful. We've had a few jobs done at the house and not every technician/service member was as thoughtful. Nick broke down the costs of what he covered, and also anticipated what could've been wrong with the refrigerator when I called him and brought over all the potential parts before even getting started. He ran some diagnostics and concluded it was our compressor that ended up failing on the fridge. He got to work right away and was thoughtful about maintaining an immaculate work space and cleaning up afterwards. After the work was done, he also made sure to stay behind for a little bit to run some diagnostics/tests to make sure the repair was done correctly. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking to get their appliance repaired. read more

We were having trouble with our dryer making a loud, squeaking sound. I sent a request for a quote to Real Tech based on all the glowing 5 star reviews. Niko (the owner) responded immediately. And, despite it being New Year's day, he showed up the same day. The diagnostic was done quickly and the explanation of the issue was clear. He showed me what was wrong and also the new parts kit he was going to replace the old parts with. The work was done quickly, efficiently and expertly. He also provided some tips on how to make the dryer run more efficiently moving forward. Niko was friendly, professional, helpful and got the job done quickly. I can't recommend him enough! read more

Niko was courteous, responsive, and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. He fixed the dryer as requested, and also noticed the door switch was broken, and fixed that as well. My dryer was not heating up. I have AHS but they assigned a company with 1.7 stars of 400+ yelp reviews. I don't have time to deal with bad and long service this time, so I did a service request through Yelp after reviewing all the reviews for Real Tech. Niko arrived the next morning with the part ready as I described what's wrong in the service request. He confirmed the issue after checking the dryer. He fixed the dryer around an hour and did a clean up. He also suggested us what to do to help prevent the issue on the future. I would use Real Tech for future appliance fix. read more

Nikolay was phenomenal! Good service (let alone the great service provided today) is hard to come by these days with people not eager to work. We had a strange intermittent leak coming from the back of our refrigerator. Nikolay answered our call the first time we called and came the next day. He set the expectation of potential issues before he started, showed us everything and the probabilities of what could be wrong and gave us a quote before starting. Then, he fixed the problem and cleaned the whole area to help extend the life of the compressor. If you need good, honest, reliable service, dont delay call this awesome company! read more

Hands down Niko is the best appliance repair technician I have ever had. He was very clear with communication and pricing. He was very knowledgeable about options for my fridge issue and went out of his way to get a part to fix it the same day. His best quality was his honesty. He presented all the fix options and did not steer me to the option that most profited him. He provided exceptional work and I give him my highest recommendation. read more

Nick was responsible, reliable, and very knowledgeable about what he does. We originally had a window from 12-2 for repair time but he was able to come early(checked with me before). And it was so convenient to have more of my afternoon to go run errands. He addressed the issue with my dishwasher and gave me an estimate before continuing with the service. Im not very educated on the prices of repairs as a fairly new homeowner, but the service and timely manner of his work was well worth the cost. Don't hesitate to hire this guy, he will respond within minutes of your inquiry! Thanks, Nick for your excellent servicing. UPDATE: i wanted to take a moment and update this review. A couple days after I wrote this initial review I experienced some troubles with the dishwasher again. I reached back out to Nick and without hesitation he expressed his apologies and made it out THE SAME DAY to fix the issue. He was apologetic and resolved the problem in no time. I will definitely be referring him to people in need of repairs! I am finally at the end of washing my dishes by hand for months!! Thanks AGAIN! :) read more
