He charged about $3000 less than the other company we looked at and did a fantastic job. I could not be more impressed with the quality of the workmanship. Part of the project was for his team to replaced all the fascia along with the roof. When we discussed painting the fascia (they don't do painting), he offered an option to add aluminum cladding to the fascia to protect it for the long haul. I thought his pricing for this was incredibly reasonable (about 4x the paint quote), you should ask him about it; with the aluminum covering your fascia, you should never need to paint it again. In addition to all that, his team also repaired some of the aluminum siding pieces that were missing on our house. Free of charge! Again, could not be any happier with the quality of the work, timeliness of the workers, and value for the price.

Insurance needed our roof replaced by February 19th and it had been snowing, there was one day with a break in the snow, and Elsom company came and busted my roof out in one day, teardown and new roof(I don't have a very large house) price was very close to quote, which was all very reasonable. A few years ago, I had Palmers do a 50-year roof on my home. Great material, good bid, but some…read moreinstallation issues - the jibber-jabber crew paid more attention to the mariachi noise coming out of their boom box than the quality of their work. The ridge vent, which was not needed, was cut free-hand rather than striking a line to follow, consequently the opening was cut too wide in places, which meant the staples on some of the capping pieces didn't have anything but air to go into and so some didn't form to the roofline. On the bright side, when I called Palmers about this, it was immediately addressed with adhesive between the caps, but this shouldn't have been necessary, and the staples are still in nothing but air. Also, the crew removed some facia pieces and didn't replace them - I did. So, from my experience, I would say that Palmers is a good contractor but should train their crews better - just because something is out of sight doesn't mean it's not important to do a good and correct job.
