Lowest interest rate and closing costs on the open market, what more can a home buyer ask for?! I wholeheartedly recommend Approved Mortgage Group to anyone looking to purchase, whether you're a first time home buyer or a real estate vet as I. This is our third home purchase and the BEST experience we've had, hands down! And yes, I am terribly long winded, but Lew saved this deal so many times, it's TOTALLY deserved:)

As a first-time home buyer, I am glad I found a home mortgage broker to figure out what I needed to…read moredo to get the home of my dreams. After shopping around, I contacted Atlantic Finance Group over a year ago, and I was immediately comfortable and impressed with John, who is the boss of the whole operation. John spent a lot of time with me to get an accurate picture of what I wanted, and where I stood financially to get me the best deal that he could. While I could have been approved at that time for a good home, John knew I wanted a great home with the best possible rates so he set me up with his credit repair specialist at no cost to me. They were very patient with me and walked me through everything I needed to do, and a year later after following their plan I felt ready to start seriously looking at houses with my realtor. When I finally found a great house, and was ready to make an offer, John followed up with the seller's agent personally to emphasize how strong of a prospective buyer I was. This helped me win the bid in a very competitive market against multiple bidders on the property. John then immediately went to work behind the scenes and we had our mortgage commitment within days. What was even more impressive to me was how the shelter in place orders due to COVID19 around that same time did not stop John and his team one bit. I was worried my deal would collapse and I could lose my future home due to factors outside of my control, but they continuously surprised me with their ability to adapt and evolve as the pandemic continued to complicate daily life in new and unexpected ways. They worked fast to lock me in at an amazing rate, saving me thousands of dollars over the life of the mortgage and on closing costs (he doesn't charge any broker fees) compared to other institutions. His team even helped me save more money in other aspects of my life. For instance, they lined me up with a local independent insurance agent for my homeowners insurance who in turn helped me lower my car insurance significantly. John's team was there for me during every step of the home-buying process, all the way up to our virtual closing. He would always explain to me what was happening behind the scenes, and was always available for questions. He would update me frequently on all happenings pertaining to the process in a timely fashion. He made everything so easy. If not for the township taking a while to handle our request for a tax certification due to COVID19 we would have closed in two weeks. Regardless, I'm just ecstatic I was able to get my home despite all the chaos caused by the pandemic. From the beginning, the team at Atlantic Finance Group was very professional, and very knowledgeable about the market and all the different mortgage products. They helped me become more financially savvy, not just for this process, but going forward. I never felt rushed, and they worked with me to get an amazing home. I am so thankful to them, and if I am in the market for a home again at some point in the future, they will be my first phone call again!

My case was very difficult with many different obstacles. With each hurdle, John (the owner) found a solution and handled my case expertly. He was fast, friendly and honest. I will never use anybody else except John! Thank you John for setting my future up for success!

It was a Saturday and I left a message, but even so, he called right back. I explained what had happened with the other company and the issues that they said were causing problems. He took all my information and ask me to send everything he needed and he got to work. It wasn't looking good. There were a lot of obstacles and waiting and a lot of persistence on Dan's part. He kept me updated whenever he could with whatever news he had. I was never in the dark. Then, the call came. We can proceed ! He did it! I will never begin to express the gratitude I have. I have investigated a number of different brokerage firms, & MM is very competitive. - Rates. I saw this when we were applying for loans for business purposes. After calling a number of lenders to get their rates, Tom's team provided the best solution for us as new business owners. - Personable & Honest. The're a small firm, and as a result you get immediate & detailed information, responses to your questions, etc. If something is going awry in your loan application process, you don't want to be shuffling between different departments, getting half answers, & trying to navigate an unfamiliar world. Tom & his team are extremely thorough in explaining each step of the process. They have often sat down with me to calculate mortgage rate changes, etc. For one particular product, Tom even advised me to look elsewhere for other offerings since he feared he might now have the best rate. Ultimately, I did end up using MM for this situation, but i think it speaks to their ethic & authenticity.

I worked primarily with Dan, and Tom filled in a couple of times while Dan was on vacation. This was the second time I'd bought a home - last time, 10 years ago, was right before the market crash, and that whole process left me turned inside out. The entire thing was stressful, scary, and just never felt right in my gut. So every step of the way this second time around, I was stressed, scared, and nervous, but Dan and Tom were extremely patient with me and very helpful. I had a million questions for them, and they were responsive and respectful, they never talked down to me, and I never once felt like they were salesmen trying to get one over on me. They took care to explain everything to me to make sure I understood it. They were never annoyed at having to explain something to me more than once. They were forthcoming with all kinds of information and their estimates for fees and closing costs were pretty much right on the money. This was most certainly NOT the 'predatory lending' experience I'd had 10 years ago! Dan was especially helpful in a few situations - there were a couple times where I'd hit a roadblock in something he needed from me, and he stepped in and took over the task to complete it. I think he also sensed my stress a few times and flat-out told me - "Do NOT stress about this - it will be taken care of!" That kind of reassurance means a lot to someone like me in this process. The experience I had buying a home with these guys was easy and I would not hesitate to work with them again (except I've just bought my forever home, so no more mortgages for me)! If you're looking for a mortgage company, please call these guys. You will not be disappointed.
