The night we went there were 2 musicians playing great music and taking requests. One even had a trombone! There are lounge couches, high tops and picnic style tables, some indoor, some outdoor under a tent. Nice local art on walls. We loved the craft cocktails especially the Old Fashioned. The tasting board of their different blends was great too! Taco night was some darn good home cooking ! Carlitos is a family run business and you can tell they really care about the food. We had the pork tacos and the pork was amazing! The refried beans were some of the best we ever had. This distillery is fun for couples, families, and groups of friends. There are also some games around for little kids, who were hanging in the outdoor tent. Definitely worth a visit !

My favorite activity of the entire trip was snorkeling. I love nature, and swimming alongside a school of fish was one of the most remarkable experiences of my life. My new novel, DeathCon--a YA horror story releasing in February--takes place in Honolulu, and this journey was so rich with insight and history that I truly felt my spirit connect with the people and the land. It was an unforgettable and inspiring experience from beginning to end. Mahalo nui loa -- with deep gratitude for the land, the culture, and the opportunity to be here.

They're both hilarious and very knowledgeable! ------------------------------- As a travel agent, I like to recommend yours or experienced that I myself have tried. While 'Im not much of a tour bus enthusiast, to ensure that my clients end up with a good one-- I decided to try Nui Tours. Unfulfilled promises by Jack (the owner): small group, Mercedes Van, all of the stops, snorkeling at a specific beach, we did not want to stop at certain places and were told we could customize, souvenir hats, 2 bottles of champagne, unlimited juices/snacks/drinks, and the discounted price per person. What we got: the bus was 30 minutes late, no one answers the phone number, HUGE OLD TOUR BUS (58 people), we did not get to choose our stops or how long we stopped somewhere, they had water bottles and Pringles (no juice/no champagne/no other snacks that were promised), and on top of several other things-- they charged us full price. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REFUND of the amount that was overcharged. Jack has lied to us, taken zero accountability, and still refuses to answer the phone. I can't help to think that half of his warrants are for fraud at this point. There is no clear communication and several tour companies show up at the same location, so if you got suckered into these tours-- please verify with each driver to see if your name is on their list. Please choose a different touring company to support. If you have a car rented and need help planning your endeavors, feel free to reach out. Good luck out there!

Through his knowledge of Hawaiian history and all of his research through the years, he shares the honest perspective of what Hawaii is through the eyes of a Native Hawaiian. This is not your regular tour - this is a tour with real information, real perspective and historical photographs to accompany the tour giving you a visual step back in time to what Hawaii was and what it is today. The tour is a 3-hour walk and stop tour. Kamaka is very mindful about moving through the areas his tour focuses on and then stopping under shady spots to talk about topics in more depth. Kamaka speaks at a good, relaxed pace that everyone can appreciate. He genuinely wants to share what he knows about Hawaiian history and culture with the hopes that real information will pervade and continue. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water, snack and maybe something to sit on that's portable like a towel or foldable seat. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour from beginning to end, and I look forward to more tours with Kamaka! Mahalo nui loa!

The strong, honest, caring and respectful way Kamaka has you feeling transported back in time to the extensive history of Hawai'i is immeasurable. We never felt rushed, and they made sure everyone had a chance to enjoy the moment. The boat was clean, well-organized, and the overall vibe was fun and relaxed. They also pointed out other marine life along the way, which was such a bonus. If you're visiting O'ahu, this is a must-do experience. As first-time snorkelers traveling with a child, our experience did not align with those expectations. Equipment distribution was poorly handled. Masks were handed out with little to no instruction, and basic questions were met with a rude and dismissive attitude. Overall communication and service were lacking. Once in the water, guidance was minimal and inconsistent. The experience felt rushed and disorganized, with limited support for guests who were new to snorkeling. The tone and treatment we received also made us uncomfortable as Asian guests. After sharing feedback, the company clarified in writing that they do NOT advertise or position this as a beginner-friendly snorkeling tour. Based on both that clarification and our experience, I would strongly recommend that beginners or families looking for clear instruction and attentive guidance consider other operators. Sharing this to help future guests set accurate expectations before booking.

He stories and jokes are funny! Let me start off by saying this is the most cheapest tour I've ever gotten in Hawaii! You can't beat this price... uncle Tony was my favorite part of the tour! He is hilarious and has a big heart! For a full day of activities and a tour can't beat that price. We started at 7am until 3pm Anyways, uncle Tony is the best! He is hilarious. He kept us entertain the whole ride. He was joking and singing. I felt so comfortable. I get car motion sickness but not during this tour. Was laughing the whole time! About this tour: They offer free pickup from Waikiki. -You get pick-up up from your location (for me it was 333seaside ave in Waikiki) - he starts picking up other people in other locations - next thing he takes us driving to coral crater where we did zip lining! We did 3 Ziplines. (LOVED THIS PLACE) -he offered us free Hawaiian donuts -during the drive he was letting us what is what as we pass by locations and its brief history about it. Such as Pearl Harbor or good inexpensive places to visit. - next place we went was snorkeling at Kapolei. His niece was the one who guided us. She is so sweet and such an amazing diver! - we went to a restaurant that uncle Tony recommended. It was so yummy! - lastly, we went on home. We entertainment from uncle Tony and more history lessons! I failed history twice in college. I really hate learning about history but uncle Tony kept it entertaining. I learned so much from him. If you're ever in Hawaii I suggest doing this tour. I promise you there is not better deal.
