Hi there! I went to RealDeal bikes to get a rental for use during my one week stay with a friend in Tequesta. I chose a step-thru model from their selection of 15 or so bikes, and the worker helped me reset the seat height through about five adjustments until it was perfect. The bike functioned near perfectly on every ride, with the exception of it wouldn't go into first gear, but not a problem; it's not like there are any hills within a 50-mile radius! I chose to add the lock for $5 - a bargain, and was able to find a helmet that fit me nicely. The delivery-pickup service for $29 was well worth the cost. Staff were friendly and prompt in all aspects of service. Overall, I was very pleased w my bike for a week rental from Real Deal. A+ read more

The shop is knowledgeable courteous and kind. I bought a fabulous beach cruiser with footbrake which is something I was looking for. Mike was totally helpful and patient while I tried to figure out what exactly I wanted and I left a deposit and he called me within two days to say it was in and I came to try it out and the bike was fantastic. They did a fantastic job, they fixed the tire at a very reasonable price and then went above and beyond by installing the wheel back on my bike and did some additional adjustments as a courtesy. I am shocked by the previous ratings! My experience was the exact opposite when I brought my bike in for general maintenance and clean-up this week. - I was never called when the service was completed. - The shop was closed when I arrived to pick-up my bike as Rudy arrived late to open. - When I got my bike home I realized that other than a new chain, it appeared that nothing else had been done. My frame, rims, cog, etc. were still covered with grease, sand, and road dirt. - Rudy was beyond rude and hostile when I returned. (Quite the opposite from when he asked me to write a review when I picked-up my bike!) Rudy argued that I was not charged for routine maintenance so had no reason to complain. (I would gladly have paid for the work that I had requested to be done!) He quickly wiped down my bike while yelling at me from the back. I felt threatened by his unprofessional manner and was relieved that another customer was present. - PS Rudy was filthy and unkempt when he arrived to the shop and did not wear a mask throughout either visit. It is a great shop; the bikes were READ DEAL good and ready to go. Michael gave me a trek cruiser which is a nice ride and easy on and off when checking out an area. We have rented for many other places on vacation and Trek is still one of my favorites. We were in and out the door in 15 mins with bike and helmet at a reasonable cost. I had three bikes that needed tuning, tires, a kick stand and general maintenance. Rudy offered to pick up/return (Awesome, just $25) and did the work in a day. He even taught me how to install my Saris car bike rack on my car for future use! Rudy and his team are the best--they proactively make service /repair recommendations with no pressure to say "yes" (but why wouldn't you say "yes" --it's so clear Real Deal cares about you and your riding experience). Rudy is also a blast to ride with-- a few years ago my husband and our sons (20 & 22) rented bikes from Real Deal and Rudy transported them to Jonathan Dickinson Park for a guided lesson on how to navigate the trail obstacles -- it was so much fun and a great family activity with adult "kids". read more

Rudy at Real Deal Bikes was awesome! Entertaining and very knowledgeable of the area. It's a good deal at $25 for a day. We biked down to Juno Beach, enjoyed a few hours on the beach, and biked back over to Jupiter to enjoys some food at Guanabanas. The bike ride is easy and Jupiter/Juno is very bike friendly. This is not the place for me. I went in to get a new chain ended up with a new cassette as well. Once it was installed the bike wasn't shifting correctly and I told Rudy. His body language really didn't seem to positive like he was actually mad that I wanted my bike to shift correctly after a new chain and cassette. Place is a joke will never go again. So I left because I didn't want to deal with the customer service anymore. My bike was riding better before I brought it into this place. Do not go here GO TO RIDERS ONLY THEY ARE HONEST PEOPLE. read more

I found out they do group rides for mountain biking at 5:30pm on Fridays at Jonathon Dickinson Park.t Prices are a bit high on the accessories.
