Bike Palm Beach by far is the best bike shop I've been to. We do usual Saturday ride with them and we love it. The crew there is always amazing and fun to deal with. Every time there is an issue with anyone's bike they are right on it and take the repair personal, and make sure it is resolved promptly. There has been time where my bike needed a part and they lend me one of their own till the part came in. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the shop and the crew. The shop is well run and the staff exceptionally knowledgeable. I lost a obscure part (barrel nut) which caused my saddle to fall off. Every try riding 3 miles without sitting down? I won't be going back again. Just didn't like the vibe. Had a crankset installed and it was a fiasco. Damage was caused to the cups bearings and irreplaceable frame. The chrome was chipped in 2 places from an overzealous tech who should have realized the cups were a bit too tight and decided to cram them in. I managed to source cups and bearings and install myself but it took weeks of searching. Admittedly there was a fitment issue, which is why I took it to them. I thought they would make it right but the lack of communication and concern was ridiculous. I think the main issue is there is 5-6 employees all with assigned positions but no one really takes responsibility for the error or complications. If u just want to buy a bike and go or get a flat fixed it's fine. Anything a little deeper they get kinda an attitude like your a hassle. Condescending. The last place you want to feel rushed in and out is a bike shop. read more

Out riding about a mile from the shop. Came across the broken down tri bike with a driver that was handicapped. I had a problem with the chain, which I could not fix. I biked to the shop (it was very busy), and they sent a tech with myself to go help the disabled bike. They went way over the call of duty. I've been in to this store several times over the last few years and bought running shoes for myself and my son. Today was a very unpleasant experience. I think there's new ownership. Virtually zero selection if you have a wide foot. Had to wait 10 minutes and then corner someone to help me. They didn't seem very pleased about it either. Overall, I don't think I'll ever go back. Very expensive shoes, which in the past I didn't mind paying because I got great service. That was not my experience today. This business is hands-down one of the most well run places I have ever been in. Even if their busiest times on a Saturday afternoon they make sure that they greet every customer and treat them like they are the most important person there. Just first class. Needed some real technical fitting advice (after buying a bike from another local shop a few years ago who fit me with a bike that was too large). Anyway, I bought a great road bike today and would not have splurged without the amount of deep knowledge that goes into getting a bike to fit the rider! Can't understand how this shop got such high reviews. I took mine in for 2 new tires. They told me they didn't have the tires for my size bike (24") so they UP-SOLD me "hardly used demo tires" for the bargain price of $32 (although they advertise $10 for new tires). By the time I got the bike back, returned the truck I borrowed to transport it because my car is too small, it was dark and I couldn't ride it. The next evening after work I found a flat tire. I got home from work early today and called to tell them of the problem. They said I must've run over something. Nice. Up sell me and then call me a liar and then tell me I have to bring the bike in. I don't need to learn a lesson twice. Also, in my experience, only dishonest people accuse people of dishonesty - they figure they do it, you must too. Disgusting. read more
