Brought my Specialized bike in for a tuneup...great staff, knowledgeable...definitely recommend.

I brought my bike in for service and any necessary repairs. My bike was finished in a day & looks like a million bucks. Thank you Mike and the staff at J-Town bicycle. You rock. read more

I took an old bike in for an estimate on repairs. They looked it over and gave me a fair estimate and some options. they also mentioned having some used bikes that might work for my needs. I bought one of those. They were so cheerful, helpful, and patient. Customer service is still alive and well at J-Town Bikes. read more

Went in for a bike helmet as I was at JD and left mine at home. They didn't try to upsell me and instead showed me a great helmet that was around 65.00 but fit perfectly and was high quality. This place has 300.00 helmets and he didn't try and rip me off. These guys aren't "douchy" jerks like you see in some bike shops. I will return! read more

This place is just the best on every category. Don't know why I didn't write a review sooner. I've been there 3 times for bikes. They were unbelievable every time. Today I brought my grandson in for his first bike. They taught him how to ride (with training wheels). They were so patient and kind. No upselling, even told me the helmet I picked may be too expensive as there were others just as good for less money. Six months ago, I brought my granddaughter in to learn to ride. The staff was different and just as wonderful. They are pretty busy in the back of the store repairing and restoring bikes. Everyone that came in was very pleased. No pressure to purchase, told me to come in or call for any problems or questions that may arise and explained to me how to set up the bike so he could use it for another 5 years, I told them I'd just come in for a new one. And I will. Thank you all for your kindness and attention. read more

Obnoxious, rude, arrogant and ignorant.....called to find out if they carried a specific bike style and was told to look it up online.....a simple "yes" or "no" would have sufficed......btw....internet has been around for a couple years.....most people know how to use it.....if I am calling to ask if you carry something it means I would prefer to work with an educated retailer, which you displayed you are not! read more

Well, I walked in to repair my BMC time machine ... this is the 3 rd shop I tried in the area and finally I found a place where people are nice to you. They are welcoming and willing to help. They managed to set up my bike and it is riding like brand new ! Good job guys ! As a matter of facts it is the first time my bike works better after a visit at a shop than before ... best shop and mechanics in Jupiter - Juno Beach - Palm beach gardens area. read more

This is the bike shop you want! I went to another bike shop in town (Rider's Only) and was SO disappointed. The salesman was extremely condescending, snobby, and useless. I left and went to J-Town. Met Jeff when I walked through the door. He was so patient, informative and friendly. I could not be happier with my bike from J-town. Everyone in the store is awesome and helpful! Can't wait to hit the trails! read more

I am no stranger to bike shops. Bike shop experiences usually go 1 of 2 ways - they are elitist and create a feeling of 'not cool enough' or they are super kind and create an atmosphere of comfort. J-Town creates a warm, kind, and friendly environment. They were so kind and helpful to me. Open to all questions. Patient. Informative. I ended up purchasing a Küat rack from them. Not just because it was in stock but because they were so kind and not pushy. They went out of their way. They have gained a loyal customer based on this experience there. They also have stock despite the current boom and subsequent depletion of bike parts. Thank you J-Town. Especially to the gentleman who helped me with my purchase and the fella who put the rack together and on my rack. You all rock. read more

Great place to buy a bike. We were looking for a beach cruiser having just moved down from NY and Mike was so helpful and knowledgeable - he made the buying process so easy. It was so refreshing to not feel pressured into anything. We looked at one other place and online before returning back to purchase at J-Town. Highly recommend. read more

Good selection of bikes, very knowledgeable, helpful, & friendly staff, and they can order just about anything you need and get it in a day or two. I bought a Specialized Roll here a year ago and liked the place so much I came back this winter and bought a back rack & pannier. I was a little confused about mounting everything, but they patiently explained it and everything was fine. P.S. You get a discount on accessories if you've bought a bike here. Now that I think about it, the only funny thing about buying the bike last year is that I wanted a step-thru model. Yeah, I know Specialized calls it a "women's model", but millions of Europeans ride step-thru bikes as a generic transportation bike (grocery shopping, errands, etc.) and not just a recreation bike (sport). It's just easier to get on a step-thru bike without having to constantly lift your leg over the panniers full of groceries or wine or whatever. The sales guy kept calling it a women's bike, perhaps thinking I'd be embarrassed if someone pointed that out to me after I bought it. Ha ha, whatever. I love the bike, don't care what people think, and I'll continue to come to J-Town for accessories & advice. read more

J-Town was the 2nd bike shop I contacted to buy a specific unique recumbent tri. The 1st shop I called didn't even want to talk to me. When I called J-Town, Zach was patient, answered all of my questions and I had lots, and was very encouraging so I ordered the bike. Today I went in to try it out and hoping to bring it home. Mike took care of me this time. He spent so much time, adjusting, teaching me and was so kind and encouraging. I am now a great fan of J-Town Bikes! read more

Had great support from all the bike techs, this week. Many thanks for their guidance in choosing appropriate replacement components for our riding styles, and careful, timely assembly. read more

Great selection and service. Friendly staff. Helpful, not pushy and knowledgable... will return for future services.

I bought a bike , spent close to 700.00 for it and the seat continually shifted. Took it in to the shop for them to adjust it and secure it which they couldn't do. They replaced the seat clamp with one that actually worked then they charged me for it. My bike was over 600.00 and the seat clamp was defective. The brand is Specialized so I thought it would have been quality. Bottom line I was told by the staff when I bought the bike that they guaranteed it and would adjust anything that needed it. To charge me to replace a defective part is just wrong and JTown does not stand behind the product. By the way I got the bike 8 weeks ago so it's not like it's an old bike? I would recommend against buying from JTown Bikes. There are 2 other stores in Jupiter. Sorry. read more

Needed a brake adjustment. Easy, quick, friendly, perfect. Will go back.

Quality local bike shop. They carry most basic tools and can get specialty parts pretty quickly. Good to know they compete with local/online pricing if they can as well. You'll find the best selection of flats pedals and shoes I've seen compared to anywhere else in Jupiter. read more

Absolutely the best Bike Shop out there. Great prices , great staff. Very quick and courteous.

A nice local shop..well stocked, knowledgeable employees. I stopped in for some accessories, and picked up a carbon fiber bottle rack, yeah pricey, lol, the owner chuckled, not in a bad way. He pointed out what I was looking for. Nice to have a place for us weekend warriors...bike safe, wear your helmet! read more

My first time stopping by there. I had a flat tire. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Obviously at the time they weren't exceptionally busy at the time, but there seemed to be a steady flow of customers. I was helped as soon as I walked up to the counter. The tech checked out my tire and diagnosed the problem. The tube was replaced at a price that was more than reasonable. I was very happy to find a great shop down here at my winter home. read more

my husband took his wheel in as it had broken spokes. He was quoted $75 to repair. It took longer than estimated and he was ultimately charged $150! Whaaat? How are they allowed to do that? He could have just bought a new wheel. I bought a nice pair of cycle shorts there a while back and need a new pair. I'll look elsewhere for those and for my tune-ups. About to ride 150 miles to support Multiple Sclerosis (a disease that I have) and need a shop that is honest. This experience was terrible!! read more
