They also gave us a few free waters. We had 8 people with us and we got 2 wave-runners for 2 hours so people took turns. Just down to the left, you can see Tiger Wood's compound (mostly the walls security cameras and his boat) but you have to go in a no wake zone for a few minutes to get there. Still pretty cool. I recommend going fast for the first part and if you have time check out Tiger's house on the water! Remember to bring cash for tipping the crew - they are very helpful and deserve it.

We ordered parts online for our car's specific make/model via the Yakima brand website, but after receiving the parts from our online order it was clear we needed some direction and assistance from a seasoned professional! Enter Native Water Sports! We've seen the store several times but never went it. We decided to go and we are so glad we did. Ted, the owner and operator, graciously helped us get the proper parts and told us he'd call us back to the store once received. About a week later, the parts were here, and Ted and my husband arranged a time at the shop. He not only helped install the rack to ensure that it was safely mounted, but he also showed my husband how he did it and was very hands-on! It took them about one and a half hours - and we were good to go. He showed us how to use the straps, how to take the pads off/on, etc. You can absolutely tell Ted is a well seasoned professional kayak guy - not only that, but he's friendly and just a genuinely nice person. For any kayak needs - car racks, life jackets, kayaks, and pretty much any kayak accessory known to man - Ted is your guy for honest help!

His easy going manner yet attention to details such as asking "Do you need some sunscreen?" and "We have the latest kayak launch system in the industry" illustrate the care he demonstrated to my husband and me. You arrive and are responsible for driving the boards on top of your car (they provide straps and pads) to wherever you want to go. The staff does provide information as to where to go based on wind and current, but you're essentially on your own, so if you want a guide this isn't the best place to go! (Unless of course you sign up for a class, which according to their website is available). We went on the groupon deal, $30 for a day of soft top paddle boarding. They told us at the desk that if you come in and tell them you want the groupon deal, they'll give it to you, but it's better to pay them directly (vs Groupon) since they will receive a greater percentage of that money! Overall we had a great time with great equipment, and at a great price!

When I asked for them to return the funds they refused to do so. They did say they would give my son and I the lesson another time, but that they would be holding on to my money in the meantime. Of course there were no offers to pay me interest on those funds while they held them. Banks are a means to finance a business, not customers. Using customers to do so, canceling on them the last minute... it's not ok. Very poor experience.

He was so friendly and didnt even stress about us being late. I booked 2 kayaks but ended up sharing one with my partner so it was a better experience for me in the water. It was such a leisurely experience and even though it was cooler and we only saw one manatee it was still pretty neat. We did see otters teaching their babies how to swim, alligators & tons of birds.
