We took the boater certification for the…read moretwo 18 year olds in the group and after a quick demo, one of Bret's crew took us on a quick tour to show us the area and where to go and not go. They also gave us a few free waters. We had 8 people with us and we got 2 wave-runners for 2 hours so people took turns. Just down to the left, you can see Tiger Wood's compound (mostly the walls security cameras and his boat) but you have to go in a no wake zone for a few minutes to get there. Still pretty cool. I recommend going fast for the first part and if you have time check out Tiger's house on the water! Remember to bring cash for tipping the crew - they are very helpful and deserve it.

The afternoon cruise, which preceded the sunset cruise, was likewise, a fabulous experience for us. We spent time swimming and exploring Jupiter Island and actually were able to walk to the beach which is just a short trek from Peck Lake. As it turned out, just 2 of us went (the boat can hold up to 12 people), and it was really nice. The boat is simple to drive (no experience necessary). It basically just winds you through nice homes and you can check out lots of boats, not much else to see - but how nice it was to rent for a few hours of relaxing time on the water! Basically, the ride is an hour each way, so the 2 hour route was a nice amount of time on the water. You are welcomed to bring food and drinks with you. I would not recommend planning on stopping and tying off, although you could. I am now disappointed we did not make it out as a group, because this would be even better with a family or group of people.

You can bring food and drink and there's a nice table with cup holders. They have plastic covers on the windows, which you can open or close depending on how warm it is. We boated on a slightly chilly day, but it felt great with some of the covers closed. The route you take from Shepard Park down the St. Lucie is really beautiful, but beware of giant yachts tearing by you (steer into their wake or you might end up with some wet possessions and a spilled beverage). We loved the experience and would definitely do it again.

Had to call, twice ! and there is no prompt for a live person. someone did call back. we followed their directives to get gas and come in early. when we got back there was no one o. the dock to help us tie up and the staff at our rental location had no idea we even called. They give you a stern direction about their fuel policy and that piece of paper should have an emergency contact number on it that will ensure a live person answers. Overall our issue was not serious, but if it had been, the ability to speak to live personell was alarmingly lacking.
