We took the boater certification for the…read moretwo 18 year olds in the group and after a quick demo, one of Bret's crew took us on a quick tour to show us the area and where to go and not go. They also gave us a few free waters. We had 8 people with us and we got 2 wave-runners for 2 hours so people took turns. Just down to the left, you can see Tiger Wood's compound (mostly the walls security cameras and his boat) but you have to go in a no wake zone for a few minutes to get there. Still pretty cool. I recommend going fast for the first part and if you have time check out Tiger's house on the water! Remember to bring cash for tipping the crew - they are very helpful and deserve it.

It's "free" to go on, but you purchase a drink tickets for $10 which is the same as the admission cost but you basically get the drink included so it still works out. It is always such a good time to ride the taxi. We usually just ride it a couple of times for fun. On the weekends, it's fun to dance, drink and meet new people. We spent time swimming and exploring Jupiter Island and actually were able to walk to the beach which is just a short trek from Peck Lake. We only had 10 people on our cruise so it took the smaller of the two boats which I don't think made much difference for the overall experience, but was nice to have the smaller group of 10. The tour went by the lighthouse and north of the inland waterway past Jupiter Island, with our helpful captain, pointing out many of the celebrity homes along the way. It was a lovely way to spend a couple hours on the water and the all you can drink beers and seltzers didn't hurt, lol! Please note if the tour you've signed up for doesn't have at least six people you will be moved to another tour, which is what happened to us and we didn't realize we were only getting a two hour tour when we had paid for a three hour tour until it had already started. Seems like there was a little bit of disconnect in the information sharing, but we still had an excellent experience and would definitely come again when visiting the area.

While anchoring, a strong current caused the anchor line to become caught in the engine. We immediately contacted Salty's, and a staff member came out and instructed us to cut the line, which we did. After returning, our card was charged $331 for an anchor replacement without prior authorization. I understand the need to recover costs when equipment is damaged; however, charging full retail replacement pricing -- especially at an inflated rate -- does not feel fair or standard. Replacement charges are typically based on actual cost, not retail markup. As a local resident familiar with purchasing and pricing, this was disappointing, especially since we followed staff instructions and acted in good faith. This review reflects our honest experience. If Salty's is willing to adjust the anchor charge to a fair amount based on true replacement cost, I would welcome that conversation. Until then, this experience has unfortunately changed how we feel about returning. In addition, while I appreciate that additional items were not charged, fairness is based on what was charged, not what wasn't. Referencing potential or hypothetical damages does not change the concern around the pricing applied. I stand by my review as written, as it accurately reflects my experience.
