My child attended Ready Preschool for 2 years, and I am very happy with her care. First and foremost, her teachers have all been rockstars! Shoutout to her very first teachers in the Green class, Ms. Priya and Ms. Anna, who were so engaging and nurturing, creating a foundation for my child to "want to go to school" and allowed her to seamlessly transition from a daycare to a more formal school setting. In the second year, Red class teachers Ms. Zhila and Ms. Ma, created a caring, interactive classroom with academic focus to prepare the kids for kindergarten. Kudos also to other class teachers and the kind and welcoming staff including Ms. Usha, Ms. Malu, Ms. Marian, and Ms. Van. The school uses an app that allows for easy communication with the teachers, and we are kept up to date on lunch menu, curriculum, and photos. The school is comprehensive in their social activities such as annual winter performance, holiday celebrations, parent teacher conferences, family events, etc. The kids also have regular music and kung fu classes. The school is bilingual English/Mandarin, with a daily Mandarin language learning component, so it is helpful to have some exposure to the language and culture so the kids can understand better, and the lunches are sometimes Chinese meals. Teachers are supportive and open to address any concerns at any time. Classrooms and playground are large, clean, and bright. My child has thrived, socially and academically, at Ready Preschool due to the support and care of a great team of loving and dedicated teachers. We can't thank them enough, and highly recommend Ready Preschool! read more

We've had our son at Ready preschool for the last 2.5 years and we highly recommend! He started when he turned 2 and was a bit apprehensive and now he's super comfortable and he's about to graduate from the program. He's been in 3 of the 4 classrooms and all his teachers have been wonderful. While he was in the orange room, Ms Miriam and Ms Van took great care of him. He was still in diapers and we partnered with the teachers there to get him potty trained. In the green room he had Ms Priya and Ms Anna and they had to be his favorite teachers there. Currently he's in the red room and his teachers are Ms Zhila and Ms Ma. He's learned so much in a short time, he's doing addition, teaching me about matter, and planting vegetables. His teachers are so kind, dedicated, and caring. One of the biggest perks is that the provide lunch and snacks. My son always finishes his lunch and we're told he asks for seconds. We receive the monthly lessons and weekly photos. There are also activities happening every month, in addition to music class and kung fu. They also still continue nap time even in the red room so your child gets some rest after lunch. The school provides a great balance of academic and social skills. The students are majority Chinese and there are daily Chinese lessons. Even though we do not speak mandarin at home he's picked up mandarin in class and was able to sing us songs, speak some phrases, and count to 10. read more

Both of my kids attended school here. Teachers are super friendly. Lunch here are good as well. Totally would recommend if you are looking for a bilingual Chinese/ English preschool. Ms Ma and Ms Anna are the best of them!!!! read more

I would highly recommend Ready preschool. Before our older child graduated, we already sent our younger one there to have the same experience. We know a few other parents who sent all their kids to Ready too. It's a fun and educational bilingual school where caring teachers, who are native speakers in either English or Mandarin, create a nurturing environment. We loved getting daily photos and videos - it was great to see how our kids were doing there! They offer fun extras too, like free Kung Fu classes. The learning is excellent. They teach simplified Chinese characters and Mandarin, but also focus strongly on English and Math skills. Both our kids truly loved going to school there, learned so much, and had a blast doing it. We were especially impressed when our older child, who only heard English at school, passed the Challenger school entrance interview in English for the grade of K with ease and is now doing great academically at Challenger. It proves that Ready's focus on Mandarin absolutely doesn't hold back their English skills - in fact, it builds a strong foundation for all learning. I think ready is a great school for kids to feel happy, loved, and well-prepared in a bilingual setting. read more

We have spent three years in the school since my son was 2. The teachers are very warm-hearted. They are all dedicated to teaching and caring. With the consistent updates and suggestions on the child's growth, we feel very secured and glad that the child stays there. And our child loves this school and makes friends. Big thanks to Mrs. Cecillia, Mrs. Karen, Mrs. Sudan, Mrs. Barbara, Mrs. Mona, Mrs. Hong, Mrs. Mary. Great team of teachers. Love you! read more

Long overdue review. Ready preschool is excellent and well managed. The teachers are wonderful and caring. This is a bilingual school and I would recommend Ready preschool to my family and friends. read more

Avoid this preschool for your own sake. The worst decision I have made is to send my kids to this school. The school has the inconsistent Covid-19 policy which is even more strict than the CDC. Teachers can't stay here, too. There's no more teachers staying after one year of my kids' studying. The teacher left my kid crying alone at the corner on his first week of school. His classmates told the parents, and the parents told me. My kids are much happier after leaving here. read more

My son just graduated from here this summer. I looked back at his 2 years time with Ready Preschool with great appreciation. He learned a lot here from Mandarin poems to 2 digit additions. Most importantly, he loves go to school everyday! The teachers are also so loving, gracious and patient. Thank you Ms. Usha, Ms. Joyce, Ms. Delia, Ms. Babara, Ms. Karen and Ms. Mary :) -Pros: meal and snacks are included, Kinderlime App for Sign in & out, online billing and message to teacher, nice indoor and outdoor space. -Cons: Parking lot is always packed. My daughter just graduated from Ready Preschool, and I would like to thank the teachers (Ms Usha, Ms Joyce, Ms Barbara, etc) for their love and caring to my baby girl, and their patience to the parent...yes, parents are the hardest to deal with :) I do not agree with the negative review (5/2/2016) about the poor food, and kids got sick from the school (your kid could also pass germs to other kids). People is hard to please... Matter of fact, the school is NOT cheap in snacks & meals, those are fresh and very healthy to the kids. I don't know how many parents are able to prepare better meals than this school. And you're talking about lots of kids to start with. For the curriculum, it's amazing how kids can learn all those stuff. The teachers are definitely qualified for the job, and helping different kids in their own pace, and enjoying their childhood life. I highly recommend this school, and their staffs are great! read more

Best preschool ever! I wish I could give them 100 stars! Before I registered my son to Ready preschool, I did a lot of research, and visited numerous centers, but there was always something that made me feel uncomfortable ... until I found Ready, I knew right away this was the place for my little one! I didn't just want a place to watch my son while I was at work, I really need him to learn something while having fun and feel cared. All teachers in Ready preschool are wonderful, Ms.Barbara, Ms.Karen, Ms.Shudan, Ms.Joyce, Ms. Mary and also Ms.Usha who used to teach at Challenger. Ms.Usha is very experienced with preparing children from preschool to kindergarten. My son used to be a very shy boy, never raise his hand in class, after a year learning with Ms.Usha, I noticed a big change in his personality. He is now very confident and very engaging in class. Due to the pandemic, although we have switched from classroom to online classes, the quality of teaching never declined. I can't say enough great things about my experience with Ready preschool, this place is just a gem. read more

I toured Ready Preschool in Milpitas looking to enroll my 3 year old. Growing up in San Jose, I was excited to allow her to experience the multicultural environment I grew up in. The tour was disappointing, as an African American family, the moment we arrived for our tour, the woman showing us the facility seemed confused as to why we were there. She asked repeatedly if we had an appointment, which we did. She made it clear that the school was for Chinese students, saying exactly that before she caught herself and said it was 80 - 90% Chinese students. I understand there may have been a slight language barrier but as the tour continued, it was clear that my child may not get the same positive experience that the others who left positive reviews would. She did not walk us through any of the curriculum, simply pointing at the wall saying "there is the schedule" or "there is the menu". The other teachers looked at my daughter without smiling or engaging, even though my daughter was obviously interested in what they were doing. Overall poor and very disappointing experience. read more

My daughter graduated from Ready Preschool over a year ago. She was part of the first class to attend the school and went through all 3 years of preschool. I did not know whether this was a good school when she was attending it because I was a first time parent and did not really have much to compare with. The teachers (Ms. Karen, Ms. Hong, Ms. Joyce, Ms. Barbara, and Ms. Usha) are seemed very caring. The school lunches and snacks introduced my daughter to a lot of food she would it eat otherwise. What made me realize how outstanding the school was was when she went to Kindergarten. This preschool prepared her well. She was at the top of her class without much effort because the level of education she received from Ready Preschool made Kindergarten very easy for her. She built a great foundation at this school. Thanks to all the teachers! read more

With my daughter's graduation coming up this July, I feel obligated to write this overdue review and express my great appreciation to the teachers at Ready who worked hard in the past 15 months to deliver both quality on-site and online classes. Before Covid hits, my daughter had attended school full time for a couple of months and had lots of fun from the variety of a activities (handcrafts, puppet show, festival parade etc.). The school app was super informative with teacher uploading the kids potty activities, lunch/snack menu and nap times every day. Such information, while trivial, did give me lots of assurance knowing my kid was doing well at school. I was also looking forward for the weekly pictures they uploaded, always capturing the cute moment. Then in 2020 during the pandemic , the school switched to a hybrid model and started offering online class back in March, with a very reasonable price (half of what the other private school charges but double the class time). I was worried at first and doubted if those toddlers would be able to sit and focus for online learnings. Facts check after two months, my kid was enjoying the class and actually looking forward to it. The teachers selected interesting topics (like insect, sea animal) and have kids pick the class theme song, and played fun videos to get kids engaged. There was also sharing time every Friday when kids can grab anything at home and present to the class. Fast forward, it's already 15 months and the high quality online class is still going on in conjunction with the on-site program. The school has been super careful in taking all necessary measures to protect the kid from covid. Given that, I decided to send my kid back to campus next month (hooray!) . Last but not the least, the contents reached at Ready is very similar to those top tier private schools. My kid was able to pass their K enrollment exam with the knowledge learned at ready. Overall this is a good preschool with decent education, caring teachers and great price. Highly recommend it! read more

All teachers are nice. My son's direct teacher was Ms. Usha. My son started out very shy, but her guidance led him to became very confident and talkative. His trust in her built up and he felt very comfortable to share and express himself. The school curriculum is very balanced in play, art, math, English and Chinese. He is well prepared and in kindergarten now. He misses Ms. Usha very much.. read more

My son just graduated from Ready Preschool this summer. He had so much fun during his one year in Red Room with great teachers. Thank you Ms. Usha, Ms. Joyce, Ms. Mary and Ms.Poppy. Not only because they taught a lot of English, Chinese and Math, but also they had arranged so many interesting events to get parents involved in. We had wonderful experiences and memories here in Ready Preschool. This year of 2020 is really hard for everyone. Ready Preschool was very quick in response to the pandemic and placed very strict safeguard to protect the kids early in Jan. After the order of shelter in place, Ready Preschool also immediately announced emergency school policy and offered excellent online classes since April. I really recommend Ready Preschool to parents who are looking for bilingual preschool program. read more

The below review is written based on the experience that he/she had from another branch. How does that even apply to this school? This school gets one star for offering an affordable tuition fee and another star for the bilingual program. Other than that, we had a terrible experience here. If you're looking for a school that cares about your child wellbeing, has a cohesive program that update parents on the child's progress, look elsewhere. This is not the place for you. The Site Director, Mary, doesn't seem to care about anything. We did not get any printed material during our visit. We were told to use our phone to take pictures of flyers because they don't have anything to print out. Mary will never remember who you are or who your child is. Good luck asking for any kind of documents because her immediate response would be "You're gonna have to wait in line. We don't have the system to auto-generate these documents, so I have to manually enter everything" It's fine if you have an antiquated system, but it's your responsibility to provide Account Statements, etc. when inquired. It's not my problem, so stop complaining to me. We've been here for almost 3 months and she still has not provided an account statement to me. I was disappointed to see the treats that this school allow kids to eat during holiday events - marshmallow, peeps, candies, etc. Aren't you supposed to promote healthy eating habits? I was so disgusted by this. Organic lunch options? Take a look at the menu I posted. Not everything is organic. Your child will eat organic chicken as the choice of protein every day. There is not enough variety in the menu. I asked Mary where they get the food from. Her exact words "I wish I knew...we just get it from the catering company who picks it up from a restaurant everyday". The last straw for me was when my child got Hand Foot Mouth disease from another student in this school. I contacted the school immediately after the doctor confirmed the condition. I asked Mary if she was aware of any other students who had this illness prior to my child. She responded with "Oh yeah, there was another kid who got the HFMD on Monday". So why were we not informed??? Right when she heard about my child, she told me "Great, now I have to let all the other parents know because there's an outbreak. Here comes the letter one more time. We had the same issue last summer" WOW, I was appalled by her attitude. Not only did she not learn from the first incidence from last year, she made it sound like it was OUR fault that she has to do extra work once again. In the end, licensing office came to evaluate the situation and fined the school for not taking proper actions in dealing with a contagious disease. My advice to the school is get someone who is passionate and energetic in managing the school. Don't get someone out of retirement to run it. Overall, teachers are only decent. If you're looking for just a daycare that could teach your child a few things, this might be the place for you. We would never ever recommend this school to anyone that we know. read more

Ready Preschool is really great place. My son has been with this school for almost 3 years and graduating this summer. He has gained so much from this school not only good academic skills but also learned most important thing about the world and how we treat each other. I still remember how my son cried when he first step in this school 3 years ago and now he is a mentally and physically strong. My daughter is also at her first year and will be her second year at green room after summer. There are so much effort and care from all the excellent teachers and principal which my wife and I really feel lucky and appreciated. This preschool has exceed every my expectation for my son early education and I highly recommend ready preschool. read more

My 4-year old daughter stayed here in Yellow room for 3 months. She's shy and couldn't speak a single English word. Ms Usha was the Yellow room teacher, she really loves and cares for my daughter. With her help, my daughter got used to the school quickly, she was happy and made some friends in a short time. We really appreciate that. We like two teachers best here, namely: Ms Usha and Ms Shudan. Due to some incident, her Mom decided to drop her off from the school, and we did. My daughter went to another school for 2 weeks, during these terrible 2 weeks, she's never happy, she cried every day. She's alone on playground. And the new school was not fun at all, not like Ready preschool's lot of fun activities. Finally, we switched back to Ready Preschool, the teachers and director welcomed her warmly. She's happy again! We love the school! read more

My son started here at 24 months and he loves this place. My biggest concern was dropping him off the first month since he cried during drop off every morning for a whole month with the previous day care we went to... To my surprise, he never shed a tear or gave us a hard time since day 1 at Ready Preschool. Also, It really makes it easier when the school provides healthier mostly organic food options (lunch and snacks) so I don't have to stress about what to pack him daily. It's also a huge plus this preschool is a nut-free zone. My son is allergic to a few nuts so makes me feel much better knowing he won't be exposed to any during his time in school. I'm probably jinxing myself now for saying this but he hasn't gotten sick since he started as of two months ago. I remember he was ALWAYS sick (runny nose and coughing) at the old day care and the other day care was very clean and organized... Well, I'm just glad his little body is getting a break from being sick. :) We currently do 4 days a week full time but planning to start 5 days since my son enjoys being there so much. read more

I have to talk about this school. My son really loves this school. He can't wait to go to school every morning, and he doesn't want to leave every afternoon. My husband and I are so grateful that we sent our son to Ready Preschool. The teachers are very nice and truly care about the well-being of the students. Our family returned to the U.S. last summer after living abroad for a few years. Ms. Usha, Ms. Delia, Ms. Joyce & Ms. Mary helped my son quickly adapt to the new environment and he was able to make friends in a short period of time. We really appreciate that. My son loves spending time with his friends at school and he is not happy if I pick him up early. It has been a wonderful experience studying at Ready Preschool. My son has learned a lot during the time at Ready and has shown great progress in all academic areas. He can do addition, subtraction, simple fractions, etc. This is way beyond our expectations for a preschooler! It is so amazing to see our son doing all these things at this young age. We are confident that the things he has learned over the past year will make his transition to kindergarten smooth. I highly recommend Ready Preschool to other parents. read more

After visiting a lot of preschools in San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, and Milpitas, we ended up choosing this rather new preschool a few years back, and do not regret it at all. In my experience... this is a clean, safe, and nicely furnished place, where the kids can be left without worry. The staff is very well qualified and diverse, and takes a lot of care of kids. They are flexible with schedules and special requests. Our child loves the teachers, director, and support staff. This is not a preschool for Asians only. Everybody is welcome and treated equally. English is the main spoken language and native and non-natives learn it correctly. Something of added value is the opportunity to learn Mandarin which is such a hard language. By 3, kids know the letters, simple addition and subtraction. By 4, they know things that the public school is teaching later in Kinder, or in 1st grade. With the education acquired, our child got offered a position at private school (we still are yet to decide either for private or public). Some simple homework is given for the weekend, but there is no pressure on the student. Still, the homework supports the learning process a lot. The tuition includes healthy snacks in the morning and afternoon, and organic meals at lunch. read more

We moved 10 miles away after one year he attended the school, but we still sent him here so he can be a giant happy ball everyday when i pick him up. My son has made dramatic progress here and has learned quite ahead of knowledge compare to other schools. Not to mention that the teachers turnover rate here is very low. We have been seen same teachers since we got here and each of them knows my sons name. The teachers are really caring and you can tell they really do love their job and kids from heart. Today will be my son's last day then he will start Kindergarten. We will miss the school and teachers so much. This school is highly recommended! read more

My son attended Ready starting from June 2018 at the time he was just two. He then had a very happy and healthy two years there, moving up from Orange to Green, and lately to Yellow room. He successfully learned how to write letter A-Z, and count to 100. His language skills both Chinese and English are well developed. Although teachers have different styles, my son likes most of them. He also made a few very good friends there. Ready starting from Yellow room, also provides very good and helpful home assignment, to allow the parents to know their kids' progress through working with them together. This is the best bilingual school in Milpitas, I found for my daughter, she is graduated from yellow room recently. I had to take her out from school due to my official travel. As a parent, this was our best decision to enroll her to this school. All the teachers are very good and helpful. Kids are happy here. The best part was that I did not have to worry about her snacks and lunch at all. School provides two healthy snacks and lunch. Admin is very good and well organized. Every week they will send weekly summary for the kids activity. They send some parental guideline as well time to time. Payment receipts are available online. School is safe and clean. Ms. Cecilia, such a wonderful person. She will always be there to answer any query any time. Ms Marry has lots of experience with kids and their psychology and she loves the kids. I am very thankful to Ms Dahlia, Ms. Shudan, Ms. Barbara and Ms Hong for all their love and care. These teachers are the angels, they are very hardworking, as the school is bilingual, their job is not easy to get the kids ready. I loved the school and their staff very much.
