My daughter is 20 years old and new to managing medical appointments on her own. She mistakenly brought an old insurance card, which I understand happens and can be resolved. What is not acceptable is the way your receptionist handled the situation. She was told, "Your appointment is in 10 minutes, you need to figure it out," and was rudely dismissed when she asked to call me for help, and was spoken to in a sarcastic, condescending tone when confirming her phone number. At no point was she treated with patience, professionalism, or basic courtesy. She was irritated that this check it wasn't going smoothly. Front desk staff are often the first point of contact, and how they speak to patients, especially young adults who are still learning matters. My daughter left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable before even seeing a provider, and that should never happen in a medical setting. While some of the reviews state that the staff was kind, which maybe some are, the person we dealt with needs re-trained on being respectful to patients, or advised to not customer service roles. read more

Won't go back.My husband had a big cyst on his neck at his collar line. It was irritating and smelly. Visited and they said not to worry. Don't pick at it if it becomes irritated. A year or so goes by, and that's enough. He works outside in the heat and I made an appt. remove it already. Well, lo and behold, it was cancerous. So they cut it out! Oh..sorry, didn't get it all. Come back again so we can cut more of your neck! And each time, it's painful for my husband and about $800 out out of our pocket. The staff is completely inept and unprofessional. The appointment was cancelled 1.5 hrs before scheduled time because they don't take the insurance. The appointment was made six weeks in advance so for six weeks no one bothered to do their job. Any other reputable office I've dealt with verifies the insurance when the appointment is made. Their manager was going to handle this and just never called me back. When I called her again she said she gave to the supervisor who did nothing. It was a scheduled Telehealth so the doctor didn't bother to step in and lead his incompetent staff, he just didn't bother show to the appointment. Don't waste your time here. read more

She allows you to speak on what you want to see changed, then offers her personal opinion- while educating you and allowing you to make your decision. I am typically nervous when going to the doctor, they take the time to explain things to me and make me feel at ease. I have seen three of their providers and they all made me feel comfortable. I had to switch providers bc of my new insurance. I drove an hour in the rain and called to tell them I would be late. The receptionist put me on hold after asking me if I filled out my paperwork( they didn't even send paperwork!!!!) for AWHILE and then came back to tell me the doctor wants me to reschedule bc I'm already late( it was 5 min at this point). I, of course got very angry after driving an hour already and told them this is ridiculous that I've come this far and it's raining bad and traffic is bad and she informed me of the 15 min grace period. Ok, I get that but considering I drove over an hour , you would think the doctor would just see me. I told them don't worry I'll rush and hopefully not wreck my car so I get there during your grace period. She proceeded to say " well are you going to be here within 15 min or at least 15 min- which one is it??" First of all, who speaks to patients like this???? I said I'm driving right now in the rain.. I'm not fighting with you.. I'm going to wreck!!!! And hung up on her. I made it during their grace period. Called n said I'm here and she tried to put me on hold!!! Um ok? So I walk in and another lady who tells me she's the billing manager tells me that the dr will TRY to see me but I don't have my paperwork done so basically told me to hurry up with it. I explained that I never got paperwork and she told me I was suppose to print it out online and bring it or arrive 20 min early to do it!!! I was def never told this bc first of all I don't have a printer so I would have asked for it to be mailed to me and second of all, I wouldn't have made the appt for 6pm bc I work until 5 and the drive is over an hour!! She argued with me that all new patients are told this!! Well I'm sorry but I wasn't. She also said " some patients have to miss work for appts". Ok lady well some ppl can't do that. She then told me how I made the girl I was speaking to on the phone very upset with my screaming. I wasn't screaming. I def was angry but who wouldn't be? She was like " I heard you". I said if I spoke like that to a client saying " which one is it" on the phone like your coworker did to me, I wouldn't have a job! She kept rambling on and I just sat down. I still sat for 15 min in the waiting room with one other person in it and the office didn't close for over a half hour yet so there was no reason I couldn't be seen!! Anddd I made it during their 15 min grace period!!!! I gave my insurance card and sat down to hurry up with my paperwork. The two girls laughed when I sat down. I went up and asked for my cards realizing I didn't get them back. She said to me " yeah you sat down too fast". These two girls at the desk were the most unprofessional and rude staff I've ever come across!! What happened to patients being right? Not only that, but to argue with a patient and tell them they are wrong and was told stuff that they weren't told!!! Doctor was very nice and pretty thorough, although didn't do a full body check like my old dermatologist always did. Nurse who was in the room was iffy. I could def tell that the other staff was talking about me to her by the way she spoke to me. When walking out, I asked about my copay and she said oh you didn't pay it? I said no prob bc I was late and arguing with the staff for how long and then got laughed at so I sat down. She proceeded to say " yeah I def don't think that happened". Who talks like this in a practice? I said okay but I recorded it so... I couldn't wait to get out of this place!!!! You could def tell it's in reading, pa!!! read more
