A tech came, said track wiring would need to go all the way my wall and ceiling, and I would have to paint it to match my walls. The tech never bothered to look in my attic, where it was obvious wiring could easily be run. Over two weeks later I received a quote in the mail for a crazy $1,200; yes not a misprint $1,200. Not only is the tech a complete idiot, but the vice president who signed off on this quote should be ashamed of himself, to try to scam a possible unsuspecting woman. While waiting for the long awated quote a neighbor mentioned they had the same job done by Vos Electric. Vos came within the week, did an easily install through the attic and we're done in no time. Cost you are wondering? $250.00. Eland Electric shame on you!!

Customer Review - 2022…read more Christensen & Wisnet, Inc. - The Good Guys Heating and Air Conditioning 4450 W Greenville Dr Appleton WI 54913 https://goodguyswi.com (920) 734-1436 In May 2022 my air condition from the early 1990s was no longer going to work and I knew the original 1950s furnace and 12-year-old water heater need to be replaced. I was very unhappy with our old service company. I research the best rated Heating and Cooling companies and called the top 4 companies. Anthony from the Good Guys was the only one to get back to me within a week to give me an estimate, he was there the next day! After getting the other 3 estimates his estimate was still the best for price, quality, and the service they would provide. They were also the only company that would get my new system installed in June! Homes come with all sorts of Heating and Cooling systems, and they date back to all sorts of dates. The Good Guy team knew how to assess my old system and were able to find the best products and installation for me. In fact, they first solved a duct work installation issue by worked with most the old duct work avoiding extra costs. Later when it was time to install my new heating system Anthony called be back with a better more energy efficient heating product saving me a few thousand dollars and also giving me a $500. Rebate! I must say what I was most impressed with was the service of the whole team. I loved working with them, they are the best service team I have ever had in my home! Each member of the team was great! They are very prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and the results have been fantastic - everything works well. It I ever have a question, need a follow up or just need someone who listens and finds a solution for me they are there, always with friendly professional service. Use them! Cheers! Thank You Good Guys! J,S. Moore Menasha, WI

My elderly mother in law was being taken down the con lane by KKomfort and they wanted to price gouge her and do repairs that her boiler did not need. She is elderly and on a fixed income. They came in a timely manner, behaved as professionals, and took care of her boiler for a reasonable fee and did not see any of the issues KKomfort claimed she had and wanted to charge her an exorbitant fee! KKomfort made a fake diagnosis on her system! Thank goodness for Christensen and Wisnet! We will use no one else! Go with a long held reputation for great, honest service! Afterwards, I had concerns about how to properly clean the grate, as there was no accessible panel. A representative from Bob's confirmed that the grates are not removable and advised using a product called Nu-Calgon Evap Foam No Rinse to clean the condensing coil. Earlier this year, Matthew's Heating & Cooling inspected and cleaned my furnace. They determined that the condensate drain had not been installed in a workmanlike manner and strongly advised against using the cleaning product mentioned above (see attached report). To date, we have identified at least two furnaces that experienced this same issue. I scheduled a meeting with the condo board president and a representative from Bob's Heating. No one from Bob's showed up for the meeting. I would urge any resident living at Richmond Terrace to use another vendor when replacing their furnace.

The tech spent four hours at our house and wasn't able to fix any of the issues - not only that but he created two new electrical issues. Our garage now is shortening out and the oven in our kitchen is shorting out and both not working. We asked him to replace some switches but he didn't have the right colors so I told him to wait to the next appointment because I would rather have switches that match. He replaced them anyways and did he will fix them next time. The biggest problem now is the company won't communicate with me. I let them know the new issues and would like the outlet covers fixed as well as him continuing to work on the other issues but for over a week they have ignored phone calls, msssages and text - so they didn't fix anything, made some things worse and put on the wrong outlet covers and won't respond. I am so disappointed because I thought I hired a good company with great customer service and reviews- all I have gotten so far is poor customer service and poor communication. I know our electrical issues are complex and would probably require additional appointments but to make it worse and not return any communication is so poor on the companies part.
