I purchased a scooter from Interlake Healthcare Product in Selkirk MB. I needed the scooter…read morerepaired. I waited over 3 months for the scooter to be repaired. I called a number of times to Inquire about the repairs. I was given a number of excuses. A family member had to get in contact with the rep from the East coast as well as the rep from the West coast. My family member spent more than 20 hours on the phone with both of the reps. I did not receive one phone call from Interlake Healthcare. I was given a scooter on loan while mine was getting repaired. I was finally able to purchase a new scooter through the rep from the west coast. Bottom line, I was more than disappointed with the Service I received from the above mentioned company. I suggest if you buy a product thru Interlake Healthcare Products, you have a company in mind, if there are any repairs needed to be done. Do not count on Interlake Healthcare Products to do the repairs. I am more than disappointed and disgusted with the service that was provided.

I had to visit the store to purchase an item for travel and was greeted by a very pleasant retail professional. She was smart, courteous, patient and intent to provide the very best in service and support for the potential transaction. After spending a reasonable 20 minutes in the store testing items, reviewing materials, etc I decided on purchasing the item. Without getting into too much detail, lets just say they promised me the product would be available for purchase (after spending that much time), but I had to wait for the product to move from a warehouse over the next few weeks. The product didn't arrive. A call never came to make me aware of the fact the product wasn't available. I was left to hang. Even after stressing how important this product was for the individual's health, there was no retail service at the end of the overall process. This store doesn't appreciate orders. This store doesn't care. This store should be avoided.

Melissa quickly addressed my concern and followed up with me to ensure that everything was perfect. I was impressed. I read Lee D's comments. Had Lee checked the website's FAQ, then Lee would have known that shipments are not made until all products have arrived. One of the products that I order is usually ready within a week, and another is ready within two to three weeks. Having read the website prior to contacting AccuCare Canada last year, I knew what to expect. I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with Melissa. When I placed my first order, I had several questions. She patiently listened and provided a thorough and comprehensive response to each question. In short, she made me feel comfortable with my decisions without any pressure. They will not deal with you if you have a complaint about a product, to the point of lying to you, on a defective garment you purchased from them. They will make a scapegoat out of you! They overcharged me and my insurance company, they took the money and ran with it for my defective garments. They got tired of me complaining and asking questions with my order that wasn't complete, accusing me of picking up the whole order again and paid for it. It was paid for in my original order, but the defective garment was never replaced or pick-up. I was complaining for 6 months with what was happening with my order with but no response. Soon receiving my original order, I noticed the items were defective, then Accucare didn't want to deal with me, they told me to contact the manufacturer in the USA and my insurance company. I ordered from Accucare and my insurance billed Accucare for the sale, not to the manufacturer. I got tired of their stories so I was further shagged when the owners changed their story once again, saying I picked up the defective garments - (they manipulated the original invoice to fraudulently scheme to evade refund/replacement). My garments were peeling at the end of the circular seams. I dropped off my defective garments hoping to to get a replacement from Accucare, waited 6 months there was absolutely no follow-up or updates from them, I had to constantly phone them again and again. They told me, "we sent the defective garment to your insurance company." I said, "What the hell for?" I phoned my insurance company, and sure enough, my insurance does not get defective products of any nature, there is no rational in that. Then their story changes again, I was told, that I have already picked the new replacements, again, they were dropping bread crumbs everywhere to cover up their lazy book-keeping and greedy behaviours (they drive a fantasy elite black sporty like-alike ferrari/corvette). I criticized them for the protracted customer service and their accusations, having to wait such an a drawn out time and still be accused that I picked them up, which totally false to cover up their con. Till this day, I haven't received the replacement garments for which I paid for. This company needs to be audited. Stay away, they will make your life miserable, unfortunately I'm a fighter.
