I have movement issues I purchased a roho quad seat at their suggestion $$ lasted about 3 months. they replaced it. I was using an old roho loner seat from the home I started to use the replacement seat and it lasted 2 months. If you have any movement issues. DO NOT get A ROHO !! Long story short, they were very difficult or impossible to communicate with and they ended up going to the personal care home, taking my grandma's wheelchair which she was sitting on and had paid for in full, and they never apologized. Details: There was an initial misunderstanding between our family, the occupational therapist and Re-New Mobility about the terms of the deal for a wheelchair for my grandma. Misunderstandings happen, so we left several messages with Re-New to try to clear up the misunderstanding. Eventually they left a message saying that we either needed to pay in full (which they acknowledged wasn't the original terms) or they were going to go to the personal care home and take the wheelchair, which my grandmother was presently sitting in and living her waking life in. As soon as we got this message, we called Re-New Mobility's collections person. We told them we were very displeased about the changing terms and the lack of communication on their part thus far -- but we handed over our credit card over the phone and paid in full according to their demands. Later that day we discovered that Re-New Mobility had come to the personal care home and asked the staff to remove my grandma from her chair. They left with my grandma's wheelchair, which had been paid for immediately after we received their unreasonable demands. A kind company does not steal a wheelchair from an old woman with dementia. We called them to ask them why they had stolen my grandma's wheelchair. They returned the wheelchair with no apology. And they still have not brought over the new cushion that my grandma paid for. I whole heartedly recommend that all Winnipeggers find a different wheelchair provider for themselves or their loved ones.

Melissa quickly addressed my concern and followed up with me to ensure that everything was perfect. I was impressed. I read Lee D's comments. Had Lee checked the website's FAQ, then Lee would have known that shipments are not made until all products have arrived. One of the products that I order is usually ready within a week, and another is ready within two to three weeks. Having read the website prior to contacting AccuCare Canada last year, I knew what to expect. I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with Melissa. When I placed my first order, I had several questions. She patiently listened and provided a thorough and comprehensive response to each question. In short, she made me feel comfortable with my decisions without any pressure. I encourage customers to browse the website to find their products, and then follow up with an email or phone call to Melissa to discuss any questions or concerns. You will find her extremely helpful and pleasant. By nature, I am a demanding customer. AccuCare Canada exceeded my expectations.

They will not deal with you if you have a complaint about a product, to the point of lying to you, on a defective garment you purchased from them. They will make a scapegoat out of you! They overcharged me and my insurance company, they took the money and ran with it for my defective garments. They got tired of me complaining and asking questions with my order that wasn't complete, accusing me of picking up the whole order again and paid for it. It was paid for in my original order, but the defective garment was never replaced or pick-up. I was complaining for 6 months with what was happening with my order with but no response. Soon receiving my original order, I noticed the items were defective, then Accucare didn't want to deal with me, they told me to contact the manufacturer in the USA and my insurance company. I ordered from Accucare and my insurance billed Accucare for the sale, not to the manufacturer. I got tired of their stories so I was further shagged when the owners changed their story once again, saying I picked up the defective garments - (they manipulated the original invoice to fraudulently scheme to evade refund/replacement). My garments were peeling at the end of the circular seams. I dropped off my defective garments hoping to to get a replacement from Accucare, waited 6 months there was absolutely no follow-up or updates from them, I had to constantly phone them again and again. They told me, "we sent the defective garment to your insurance company." I said, "What the hell for?" I phoned my insurance company, and sure enough, my insurance does not get defective products of any nature, there is no rational in that. Then their story changes again, I was told, that I have already picked the new replacements, again, they were dropping bread crumbs everywhere to cover up their lazy book-keeping and greedy behaviours (they drive a fantasy elite black sporty like-alike ferrari/corvette). I criticized them for the protracted customer service and their accusations, having to wait such an a drawn out time and still be accused that I picked them up, which totally false to cover up their con. Till this day, I haven't received the replacement garments for which I paid for. This company needs to be audited. Stay away, they will make your life miserable, unfortunately I'm a fighter.
