I spied a gorgeous micro/small satchel/crossbody in hunter green by Old Trend, and to boot, a discontinued style on their site! So stoked to find it an a low price. The cute little dressing rooms and enormous warmth and friendliness of the chatty owner, I shad gotten her name. This is an absolute gem of a place not to be missed. Despite it being a holiday weekend, we found parking fairly easily on the street for free. This is a must to visit, and even if you don't buy anything, it's a masterclass in setting up a little boutique with love.

Even worse, the AI art is mixed in with the actual art, clearly in an attempt to trick potential buyers into believing the con. Even when it's put in its own section they label it simply as "digital art" which is obviously misleading. Adding to this, a lot of the AI art is "authored" by one Thad Markham, who on further inspection is the owner of the gallery. This is absolutely heinous. AI art isn't just digital, it's an algorithmic Frankenstein of thousands of real artists. AI art is theft, and it's incredibly disappointing to see it in a gallery like this.

Huh, okay, maybe I misread that, I thought. I shopped around while they continued to ignore me and the other shoppers in the store. Me, willing to think it was a fluke, I say something friendly to them about liking the shop and they both stared at me blankly and said nothing (What?!? Who does that??). It was beyond strange- it was rude. I told my daughter to put back the items she picked out and let's go. As we left, my daughter said "bye, thank you" and they ignored her. The whole thing was offensive to me and I'm posting so the owner is aware, and if *that* was the owner of the shop, she clearly won't care anyway and can get back to making my voodoo doll. Went to the next shop where we were greeted from across the store with "hi, welcome in!" And then the store after that with "good afternoon!" And genuine smiles. Creating a positive, welcoming and friendly customer experience goes a long way. The 1-star rating is for the experience. The shop itself has interesting and unique finds and I like the space.

There are still plants and garden statuary on the back patio. A walk through this store lets you experience an environment that will transport you to a peaceful and timeless place, just like any beautiful garden! This is the perfect place for hostess gifts or Christmas gifts to bring Joy to anyone who likes to garden.

Sadly, if you are for women's rights and pro choice, you should not give or buy from this thrift store as they support the Tree of Life in Atascadero, which is an anti-choice organization that tricks women into to coming in so they can shame them for their choice! Please know who you are giving to when you give to or buy from this store. read more

I had never been in here before, so I decided to check it out and I found the perfect night stand! I went home and it looked so perfect in my room I had to get the the whole set. I live 2.5 hours from them, so the owners were nice enough to hold it for me for a few days. We arrived with a uhaul and one of the owners (I forget her name), helped me put it in the truck. She had all the drawers out for me and put the dresser on a dolly and we got it into the truck. That was super kind of her. I'm so grateful I was able to go back and pick it up and that she helped me get it into the truck. I will be back!

What I mean by this is if you know your name brands, then you know when you're getting a great deal on thrifted items. I appreciated several things about the organization of this store, my thoughts are listed below: 1) it's clear that the staff curate the donated items 2) The staff appreciated that items are donated and therefore, do not upsell or make pricing comparable to retail prices 3) Items are well cared for and well organized throughout the shop - things were easy to find -- and therefore, appreciated. This store also sold some new and packaged / bundled overstock items (i.e. socks, underwear, etc) that I allllmost got. But I hesitated -- I already have two bags of mismatched socks -- they don't need more competition! I did, however come away with some really cool finds -- and I'm glad that the staff were patient with me returning to the cash register, not once, but THREE times!! I kept catching things out of the corner of my eye, each time I tried to leave. LOL! What I got: A pair of sorel sandals for 9.99 (retail price: $140) in excellent condition. A "Sally" from Nightmare before Christmas themed hoodie from Box Lunch for 6.99 (i think) -- actual retail price: $60.00 (or so) A pack of two yo-yo's for my kids (1.99) Thick shoelaces (for Vans) for 1.00 There were some amazing hand-cobbled shoe boots that I wish my foot was a bit bigger so they'd fit -- but no dice!
