I keep seeing the commercials about how they are always with you during construction. THAT NOT TRUE!!!! I couldn't even get the temple tx manager when I made the biggest mistake of my life to contact me about the installation. I will start by saying that we contacted this company through Lowes. We wanted a simple bathtub installation; Lowes could not do bathrooms, so Re-Bath was their private contractor. Everything started getting fishy just after we received the seller in our house. He was pushing for additional materials that we did not need. The scam began when the seller said we could apply for a Lowes Advantage credit card. We did and got a credit limit of $4650. Unfortunately, this amount was not going to cover the total amount of the service, which was $8700 with a $1000 discount (veteran). The seller said Lowes does this and later approves the other amount when they finish the service. So we had to pay half up-front and the remainder after finishing the bathtub. The job started in January with a worker that spent more than on the phone or in smoke breaks than working; it took two days to complete the plumbing and another two days to get the city inspection. Once done with the inspection, they messed up a wall and took another month to fix it. They constantly apologized for the inconvenience and never offered any discounts or a reduced price for their mistakes. After they had settled everything, they started to bombard my phone with payment reminders, even before resolving the wall mistake. Lowes did this as well. The worker that finished the job even pooped and urinated in our toilet and left without even flushing it. A disgusting last image was left from the company. Finally, when I asked about the rest of the credit increase, both Lowes and Re-Bath started passing the bud. Re-Bath told me to talk to Lowes, and then Lowes told me to speak to Synchrony. Then Re-Bath said that I needed the total amount in credit before starting the project. Something that the seller swears we did not need at first. So, we had to pay $4300 at once. If we had known this, we had not have taken the job. The seller just wanted to make the sale. It is horrible to think one can trick a family with two kids and sleep well at night. This company is a scam, and their service is not worth the amount of money they charge. Incredibly I cannot sue them because the whole Lowes will increase your limit; they do it consistently, which is not in the contract. They want to sell and take advantage of families. I am frustrated, and I demand we get the $4300 back we had to pay at the end due to bad service, lack of professionalism, and scam behavior. read more

I emailed them for a quote to have a shower installed. The lady called me back the next day and started asking me a bunch of questions. At first I felt uneasy about the questions and after our conversation I understood why. It sounded like a sales pitch just like a timeshare salesperson. Questions she ask before someone could come out for estimate: How long have you owned your home? How long have you lived in your home? We must have your spouse present when we come out for an estimate. I advised lady that my spouse was unable to meet with them and I would be the one approving the estimate. The lady said if your wife can't be there we cant come out. I let her know I feel uncomfortable what I'm hearing and let her know to just forget it. I think the reason they wanted my wife to be there, how old my house is and how long have I lived there there because she was pre-qualifying me for a second mortgage. What she didn't know was I was going to pay cash, not a loan. read more

The shower they placed is nice. But the price way to expensive, wished we would have gone with someone else. This should have been a 6k job, but turned out to be 12k and and we didnt even ask for alot. We got a new shower, no tub. New floor tiles not ceramic, like a vinyl type, a toilet, a wall light fixture and tear down a wall. Thats it, it was messy, took almost 2 weeks and we had to paint and install rest of light fixtures and install the sink because it was too much money for them to complete. The guy they assigned didnt know what he was doing, had to ask me what we were to get done. I should have lied and told him to do it all for that price. Will not go thru them again , nor will I refer anyone to them. Just not worth it. read more

I am sharing this for my mother who recently had her bathroom renovated by this company. They short cut so many steps to the renovation. When they took the tub out of the bathroom there were some floor framing boards from the tub that were obviously damaged and needed replacing, when my mother said something they told her they weren't worried about it because it would just be covered up by a baseboard... why would you not replace something damaged? When they were pulling the tub out of the bathroom they knocked a small hole in the drywall, no bigger than a finger length, they proceeded to cut a 1X2 foot square out of the dry wall and then slap a piece of green board that was not floated or taped to properly repair and they left that repair on my mother who had just paid SEVERAL THOUSAND for the bathroom remodel. Not only did they not repair the damage THEY CREATED they also took all of the towel racks and the shower head that was removed from the walls to remove the tub, they were not trash and the shower head was brand new. read more

I had my shower remodeling during the summer, and I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the job done! Everyone at ReBath was so polite. Our installer was exceptional! I will be needing my guest tub replaced eventually, and will be returning. I know my shower will last a long time, especially with the great warranty they offer. It is nice having a "worry-free" shower! read more

Although we initially loved our remodeled bathroom shortly after the work was done we developed a leak in the wall at one of the connections Rebath made made in order to move the sink. the result was the room next to the bathroom flooded I called Rebath and they took care of it. We chalked it up to just a mistake and stuff happens we still had a great bathroom however now about a year and a half later we have the same problem( I called on Sunday and left a message ) The leak was bad enough tile was lifting and the water was spreading to wards our wood floors This time I couldn't wait to here back from them I opened up the wall and found it leaking from the same set of connections . I am now questioning the quality of there work . It is now Monday afternoon still have not heard from Rebath in waco read more

For us Re-Bath of Central Texas has been an aggravation from the beginning; I feel the primary reason is poor communication. Below is issues we had with them: * Sales person Dan forgot to include tub faucets to our order. * Dan informed us when we signed the contract it will be 8-10 weeks before the work would start, and the whole process will be 3 days from start to finish - no big deal; however, read below. * When the guys showed up on day one they did not know we ordered (through Dan) an exhaust fan to be installed. * After a couple of days and phone calls back and forth, we finally got the exhaust fan; however, electrician Russell did NOT vent the fan, and * Russell the electrician LEFT LIVE WIRES EXPOSED IN THE ATTIC!! * When the remodel work was done we were told "oh, it will be 2-3 weeks for your shower door" ..." What? We were told whole process would be 3 days!" Door had to be special ordered after work was done for proper measurements. * 1st time the exhaust fan was either installed incorrectly or a bad unit because it would blow air but not exhaust the bathroom, but the heater did work. * 2nd time Supervisor Felix came out and tried to fix Russell's mistakes (vent the exhaust properly, fix the exposed wires, and fix the exhaust fan) - was able to get the fan to exhaust, but now the heat did not work. Put in an order for replacement parts. * Spoke with Felix regarding our frustration through the process and he said he will have Brian give us a call - 3 weeks later still no call from Brian. * 3rd time they tried to fix the exhaust fan with the replacement parts - nope, now the heater works but no exhaust; need to call out another electrician.... a week later still no electrician!! * Shower door finally arrived and installed. * We had the whole thing financed and was told we would not have to pay anything up front or out of pocket - when they came to install the shower door they tried to collect a $1000 and supposedly the contract was changed.... have not seen nor heard anything else about this issue. * Speaking of no call, we were told several times through the process either Dan or Brian will give us a call.... no call from either of them! Now however there were a few positives sides (reason why they are receiving two stars instead of just one): * the employees do a really good job making as little mess as possible * they did clean up what mess they made * they were really polite and respectable. read more

Great product. Many workmen exceptional when working with remodeling process, i.e. masonry man, carpenter/plummer were great. Improvements needed in communications when problems arise. Customer should be notified first when problems arise....change to a different cabinet supplier or give the correct specs. Company accepted responsibility for mistakes.....rectified financially. Biggest improvement needed.....communicate with he customer. read more
