I've spent $50,000 with their company and I'm on my third porch that they poured and removed and repoured and it's still not right. Left huge messes, the house is in the same shape it was when they left here with my money two years ago. I'd never recommend them to anyone and tell anyone I know to avoid them at all cost. My first review was removed because it was too honest. This does not reflect my true feelings!!

They responded within about an hour, indicating that they don't do a pier and beam foundation (too bad; but none of this was in their advertising directly, it may be buried deep somewhere on a web page, but to most customers like me, a foundation is a foundation - we don't get scientific about it). They did recommend another company out of Waco (Brown) who after 3 calls never responded back. I was really impressed with their follow up and the speed by which they told me that they basically couldn't help me. I was appreciative also of the referral to a place that (supposedly) could. They can't control who they referred me to so I can't blame them for that, but that said, they couldn't help me and I just think that they could have even subcontracted it out if it's something they don't do instead of a referral, because here I was excited to work with the company, I read up on them, and I'm even a Nolan Ryan fan (he's in their ads). In the end, don't call them or waste your time if you have a pier & beam foundation. Most homeowners aren't, to my knowledge, so deeply interested in their foundation that they know all the differences, but they are a hard stop in saying "no" to any work to be done with it.

When contractors gave…read moreus estimates to repair it a 3rd time, they told us there would be no warranty on their work, because it was likely that frame movement resulted in the cracking... and that the root cause could be a foundation problem. They suggested we have it looked at. I spent some time looking at reviews of foundation companies, and settled on Bats. When I called, I was asked a few questions about my issue, and an appointment time was set with Calvin Burnett for about a week later. Calvin called ahead because he was running early the day of the appointment. He spent over an hour inspecting our home inside and out. He took precise measurements from a high point on our floor, and at points throughout our home. When he was done, he explained what he found, which was that the foundation measurements were within specification. He sent a report including a map of our home with the measurements later that same day. There was no charge for this, and Bats will keep the data in their records for comparison if the need arises in the future. Both the person I spoke with over the phone and Calvin were professional and helpful. There was no obligation or charge for the excellent service we received. I highly recommend this business for their honesty and professionalism.

While his crew was installing the windows, I asked about an upgrade in some electric circuits and he called in an electrician and got that done.
