From the moment I moved in without a doorknob on the back door and the kitchen ceiling leaking my first day there, until my move out process has been nothing short of hell. Do not get their renters insurance through the app because your claim will be denied. They ruined my property and I had to go to court because they really only want your money and refuse to dish out a dime. Do not expect to get your security deposit back either. You'll have to thoroughly clean the unit, change light bulbs, the furnace filter, prove that the scraps on the wall was there before you moved in, change the batteries in the smoke detector, have carpets professionally cleaned. I have an apartment with RE360 although I will say they're quick to answer phone calls and respond promptly however here's where we run into problems: Constant $50 up charge every 3 - 4 months is a no go my set price rent is $1450.00 and now I'm ending up paying $1850 that's. $400 increase in 1 year. snow removal and trash removal isn't the tenants problem nor responsibility we should not we be paying that, that is property managements responsibility for all their properties they own or sublease out not tenant responsibility. During the cruel summer hot heat waves outdoors bugs come into the apartments not so friends outdoors bugs, it's property managements responsibility to send in an exterminator preferably Terminix 2x a month to every property/apartment and have them do the exterior and interior of the tenants homes - they refuse do that they tell you you want to someone to fix bug problems you have to pay out of pocket... Yall already getting 4x the amount of rent out of us having us pay trash,snow, 3x amount to move into your small apartments with noisy neighbors like be for real. There maintenance personnel are very slow to responding to maintenance requests it's take atleast 3 weeks for them to simply do 1x small tasks that will take 20min..... A company is a reflection of it's owner. Who I heard is a cool guy. But bottom line is he steals money from hard working kids. When my stepson moved out his mother and I went over and cleaned the apartment top to bottom. I fixed every nail hole and touched up paint. I cleaned a patio where I found clear evidence of drug use from the neighbors. The place was substantially better then when he moved in but they still chose to with hold part of the security deposit. They charge ridiculous amounts for rent, charge you for not moving out of the property you paid for the entire month for. The place was crappy and NOT CLEAN when you move in but they keep your security deposit and charge you for cleaning they didn't do prior to move in. They hide major health code violations by painting over things like MOLD. When you have a problem your put on the back burner until it becomes unbearable. The owner is supposed to be a VETERAN but treats other veterans like CRAP. Health Department is the only way they attempt to fix anything because the rent goes in ESCROW. They call other tenants about reviews made by other people and ask what they can do but never physically come to see what the complaints are himself. Money hungry who will blast your email about the positive things they do in 1 neighborhood but not where they have all properties. DO NOT RENT FROM RE360!!!! (0 stars) I have lived in Pittsburgh for about five years and I have never experienced any kind of torture like RE360 put me through. Every single good review just has to be staged because I have spoken to several people throughout the years that have had traumatizing experiences with this company. Since they own an insane number of properties they don't even attempt to care for, they neglect and take advantage of so many innocent people around the city. When I was a college student, I reached out to RE360 about an apartment. After all, all their prices are low compared to other properties and advertised as "updated," so you think you're getting a good deal. On the day of our scheduled tour, I waited for a worker named Mia who informed us that the place we were supposed to see had actually been claimed, so she took us to another apartment. This should have been my first red flag, but mistakes happen. Eventually, I rented an apartment that was a part of a complex. Several residents of this complex warned me while moving in that they had a severe case of bed bugs, mice, and roaches and that RE360 was called about these specific issues that were never solved. I didn't want to believe it but as soon as I started seeing roaches in my apartment, I wasn't surprised. I reached out to RE360 so many times where they were first really kind about it, promising they'd send someone over to help out the people in the building and stating they had never heard of any of these complaints before (or had any negative reviews on Google). The "help" they sent was some strange man who made my roommate and I feel extremely uncomfortable (which seems to be a common theme among the reviews I've read.) He put ONE bug trap outside my back door. As expected, the apartment became flooded with giant roaches that would crawl all over my bedroom walls at night. I did get into contact with a previous exterminator for RE360 who said he was let go since they wanted to pay for cheaper workers. He tried helping us out a ton but the damage was already so bad. As someone who is dangerously allergic to roaches, I broke out in welts and hives all over my face and body. I kept expressing these issues to RE360 and had to push for them to move my roommate and I to another property. Once we were able to move to another location (after having to get rid of all of our furniture and a ton of our kitchen supplies filled with roach eggs,) I was told I'd be charged for the couch I had to dump outside by the trash. After moving into our new place, my roommate and I opened a couple of the doors on the second floor where the rooms were entirely infested with hundreds of flies. There were more flies in these rooms than I had ever seen in my entire life and it took two days for us to get rid of them. During our first day of being in this apartment, we found multiple roach nests in the basement including a mouse. There were baby roaches in every corner along with giant ones that would pop out here and there. Again, my allergies worsened and I became physically ill very quickly. I spent countless hours on the phone with people from RE360. This time, they were not kind in the slightest. The woman I spoke to over and over about these issues named Kayla laughed at me, saying "you're just seeing water bugs." I ended up couch hopping between my hometown and the city for two months, pushing them to settle for an agreement. I eventually got an attorney involved, for they stopped answering my calls altogether. After several trips to the hospital due to my allergies and respiratory issues, I finally got them to let my roommate and I break our lease. I honestly think that if I wouldn't have pushed them every single day and showed up to their office in person, they wouldn't have budged. Seeing a few roaches is common no matter where you live in Pittsburgh, but I have never experienced anything like this. Save yourself the time, money, and tears by never ever renting from this company no matter what you do. They're sitting in their nice apartments while causing everyone else pain and suffering. We had a rough move in experience but the property manager Kayla really changed our perspective. Honestly, it was a night and day difference between the level of care before her to what we have experienced since she took over our issue. We're thrilled that our issue was resolved very quickly once she took it over. She really cares about her tenants and wants them to be happy in their homes. During my time at one of RE-360 places a few things were left to be desired. House had mice early on and it took a while to get that fixed. Then during the winter the insulation in the home gave out which we warned them of and my water was out for over a week and average temp of the house below freezing. My roommate and I kept the place spotless. Had carpet cleaners come and professional cleaners for the home. However RE-360 ate our whole security deposit and charged us over 100 dollars. From other friends that have rented with them have faced the same problem. It's a big company and their goal is to essentially eat your entire deposit use it to upgrade the house (not repair) and then boost the rent for the next tenants. With my poor credit I was willing to still rent considering my options were limited. I was told to get a cosigner only to be told that the reason I wasn't approved defeated the point of getting a cosigner. My optinion this company seriously lacks in proffessionalism. I've been renting in PGH for a few years and these people have really outdone all the other horrible landlords I have had. When we moved in, the outside of the house was covered in trash and infested in flies, and multiple doors and windows on the ground floor did not lock. They refused to do anything helpful other than incorrectly setting traps when we had a severe rodent infestation due to structural damage to our apartment. Mice were getting into our food and making our house unsafe to live in, and the issue had to be handled by an outside exterminator with no support from RE360. We kept our place in good condition, and but less than 5% of our security deposit was returned, despite us paying for over $300 carpet cleaning as they requested. When you need help, they will only respond half the time and sometimes no-call no-show for scheduled meets. When showing the apartment to potential tenants, they would show up significantly earlier the scheduled time, interrupting our privacy. They will continue to keep renting out slum-quality apartments that they have used small fixes to maintain a barely-acceptable appearance, and they will keep raising rent despite the diminishing condition of the place. I would avoid renting with this company if you want someone who cares about anything other than getting every last dollar out of you that they can. read more

I was in an emergency housing situation and contacted RE 360. I was put in touch with Miah with whom I scheduled a tour of several properties. I told Miah about my situation, that I was basically looking for a property as a backup plan for my family's housing emergency. Despite the lack of commitment from me to eventually sign a lease, she still took me on the tour of the properties. She was graceful, kind, professional and, most helpfully, she knew the area and had insights about the properties and the area that were specific to my situation and my family structure. What impressed me most about her approach was that she gave the tour despite me informing her that this was an exploratory effort on my part. Thankfully, my housing emergency was soon resolved through another solution, however, we did not lease a property from RE 360, and because of that, I cannot speak to the management style or effectiveness of RE 360. What I can speak to is Miah's performance and approach. My family and I feel very strongly that Miah contributed to solving our housing emergency because she was a partner in helping us find our options in a pinch. I am thankful that it was Miah who answered my call that day, because had it been anyone else I could've been told that RE 360 would not spend time with someone who was ready to rent, or I could've been taken on a tour with someone who was not engaged in the process because a sale was not probable. Miah did neither of these things and additionally, continued to check in with my status throughout the following week, giving me updates on the properties that we toured. Miah made a positive difference for me and my family in a time of need, and for that I am thankful for her, and I am also thankful that RE 360 had her in their employ. read more

The property management team is impossible to get ahold of. The lack of communication amongst their team has caused misinformation to be spread amongst tenants under the same lease. Claim they are able to be texted for quick questions - those questions will go unanswered and you will only receive responses when they NEED something from YOU. I was told that I would be responsible for the front of my yard well when I moved in I was told that I was responsible for the front and back that I have no access to that was a problem. moved into the unit the walls of the kitchen were greasy unpainted, The dishwasher had nasty stagnant water in it the garbage. disposal did not work it was filled with rocks like if someone dumped a reptile tank of rocks into it The toilet was clogged and nasty the tub was clogged with hair the walls were filthy dirty the basement was moldy cobwebs all over the place when it rained my 2nd day there I walked down into the basement and there was a stream of water it literally look like a Creek in the basement. I called maintenance they brought me a dehumidifier to put down in the basement . I was told my rent was one price but every month there was an added fee of a $100 sometimes maybe 50 at the lowest on top of my already rent payment for a water bill that I've never seen. I'm never home I might spend 1 week out of a month at my home and I have a $53 bill every month I'm also renting a garage which I was told that I would pay $300 a month for the garage if I wanted electricity $400 a month I chose to take the electricity for the garage not knowing that I had to put the electric in my name. 100% Rip off run run run I've been in the maintenance and property management field for over 37 years and the way they turn their units is horrible and inflate their prices is wrong. Very few good things to say other than if you want them to stay away and leave you alone, while you're already renting with them, they will. However, we were moving into another property with them that showed move in as May 2021 .it worked perfectly as our other lease with them ended at the end of May. However, they scammed us on the new lease saying we could only sign for May 1st as that was when it was available, as if it can't be vacant for a month. Therefore, we had to pay double rent for two separate leases with them. We were told sometimes people just pay double rent. I stayed at one of their rental properties for 2 years in Mt. Washington. During my 2 years, I did not find any issues with their service and maintenance. Once I had my room light issue, which was fixed within a day from submitting online maintenance request. After moving out from the property after 2 years, USPS accidentally delivered one important mail of mine at my old address. I contacted Re360 maintenance and they got my mail from my old address immediately within few hours. Even being an ex-tenant, their service was amazing. These guys were the absolute worst landlords I have ever had in the 412. Maintenance requests would be filed and marked as "done" when in reality, nothing was fixed. We were told we had to take care of our lawn after we signed our lease; then when we mowed it before moving out, they removed money from our security deposit the day after it was mowed. In addition, they charged us over $300 for garbage removal for garbage that we clearly removed before moving out. We were also charged for paint issues that existed when we moved in even after I had taken over 100 photos of the residence illustrating the issues on move-in day. Absolutely awful. I would give it zero stars but I couldn't leave a no star review. We were looking at a house and brought our cosigner to look at it with us the second time before signing the lease. Spoke with the agent about the neighborhood, mostly the safety of it, and some things we'd like fixed before we signed the lease and moved in. Spoke with a neighbor after our second showing of the house and she told us that across the street from this house there are regular FBI raids, with fugitive and hostage situations. This is the type of neighborhood where you don't walk around alone, at night, etc. He was clueless. If he did know anything about the dangers of this house, he blatantly lied to us. Not only this, he is unprofessional. We informed him politely but firmly that we were no longer interested in the house, and he's texting and emailing us asking why about the safety features. RE360 is one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. A mere 3 months into our lease, they started insisting on showing the house to future possible tenants. I'm assuming they did this as a means to try and convince us to resign our lease sooner rather than later, but all it did was interrupt our daily lives and irritate us. Despite the fact that they had to give us 24 hours notice before these showings, multiple times they showed up unannounced or with less than 24 hours notice. During one of these showings (done by different people who all seemed to have no knowledge of the property), the guy asked ME for certain details about the house. "There's a washer and dryer here, right?" "How do I get down to the basement?" ...Shouldn't you know this information about the property you are trying to get tenants in? Pathetic. The house we rented was listed as having air conditioning, but it didn't work. They never fixed this, instead giving us a one month deduction on rent to buy our own window units for a house we were told had air conditioning. Another fun detail: they continued to list this property as having air conditioning. Yeah, straight up lying about your properties is a great way to keep tenants! They aren't much help in the winter, either; on what was probably the coldest night of winter (with temperatures around -10), our heat stopped working. A maintenance guy came, but he told us the filter was dirty and that he couldn't change it until morning, and he left. RE360 also does not plan on giving you your full security deposit back. Doesn't matter whether you actually caused damage to a property or not, they'll find an excuse to keep most of it. As if that isn't scummy enough, I'm quite certain this money doesn't go to property maintenance. Two friends of mine lived at this property for a year before I moved in. They had a dog and paid a very hefty pet deposit, which they did not get back. I moved in immediately after they moved out. After RE360 decided to keep their pet deposit, though, no cleaning was done. Nobody ever came to shampoo the carpets that their dog supposedly ruined. Clearly, this money was pocketed. As for me and my roommates' security deposit, they initially decided to keep over half of it. Some of these deductions included $270 to "general cleaning" (just can't help but wonder what "general cleaning" means and how it costs nearly $300??), and $100 to landscaping, when the only "land" that was on the property was a small patch of flowers next to a concrete patio. All of the deductions to our deposit are just baffling, given that we left the house in pristine condition compared to what it was when we moved in. We followed all move out instructions, patched and painted any holes in walls, had the carpets cleaned like we were told to, and yet they still saw it fit to keep most of our deposit. RE360 is probably one of the worst companies you could rent a property from. They're disorganized, untrustworthy and scammy. They don't maintain their properties, they aren't easily contacted, they DON'T plan on giving you your security deposit back. DON'T RENT ANY PROPERTIES FROM RE360 if you don't want to get scammed. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. I was in contact with an agent via text to go see a property. They asked all of the normal questions and we scheduled a time to go meet at the property. The agent asked me that if i liked the place, would i be willing to put a deposit and first months rent down and then sign the lease. I told the agent that I could put a deposit down to secure the property, but I couldn't pay first month's rent yet. I am still paying rent at the place i live at now and I didn't plan on moving until March. After that, I never got an answer back. I texted the number in the morning the day that i was supposed to see the property which was the next day, and I got no answer. I still went just in case they were busy and forgot to answer. I texted again asking if we were still meeting, sat at the property for 20 minutes and no one showed up. I haven't heard a word since. If I could give them less than 1 star I definitely would...they also pressured me to sign a lease 8 months ahead or they would show/rent the house, even though I explained to them that I was just in Mercy ICU for a week and was getting in home care with my parents (not well enough to be alone/make judgement). When I filled all the lease requirements for move out and returned the keys (after they would not agree to a walk-thru), they sued me at the local magistrate for abandoning the property and posted my notice to appear at their property- knowing that I moved and having my new address!! In the 3 years I lived there, I always paid rent on time and had many maintenance problems that they did not deal with as mentioned in other reviews. Still don't even have my security deposit back and they want to hold me financially responsible for the next lease. BTW, they also changed their business name at least 3 times so I never knew who I was speaking with. Lately they are legally suing at SS Partners XI- SMH since I am not sure how these folks sleep at night!! read more

terrible. terrible. terrible. Had a 1 year lease and will never be renting through them again and making sure none of my friends make the same mistake. a million things went wrong with our house and they always took their time solving an issue. my roommate spent ab entire week in December with a 104 degree fever stuck in our house that was 40 degrees because the furnace broke. They are currently trying to steal our security deposit to renovate their house, we spent hours cleaning and there was nothing but normal wear and tear (not much of at all) and we were charged about $500 for a "cleaning fee" as well as a bunch of other stuff we asked for itemized invoices for that were not provided and they have stopped responding to us. don't rent through them and save yourself the headache, they will be extremeLu nice at first and even try to trick you into leaving them a good review early because they have such bad reviews across the internet because they do this to everybody. very shady company! read more

We havent had a very great experience living in our home this past year. We have been overcharged for several things, and been incredibly frustrated along the way. I normally dont take the time to write bad reviews but I dont want other people to make the same mistake I did and rent with this company. Now Im just terrified that theyre going to take our security deposit and find things that are wrong, but not because of us.
