Rocky is the owner and person who completed the service in our home We were surprised with the quality of work after all these positive reviews We tried to talk to him half way through he had finished because we noticed the quality and he just kept repeating "its fine" and thats how it is. The thing is out of all his work- some was done well and clean which showed us it could be done. It just wasnt done consistently The time estimated ended up being about double. Which i understand its an estimate but for people who have work and a baby to schedule around it was really tough when he showed up an hour early and then instead of being done in 2 hours was done in a little over 4. Another big issue we had was how he left our home after he was "done" we found several tacks in our carpet in the main areas, material cuttings scattered, and right outside our front door it looked like he just dumped the garage on our front yard. He was told and saw that we had a crawling baby and two dogs but even if we didnt I cannot imagine that a professional would leave that dangerous material left over after any job. Or at least without saying hey i couldnt pick it all up or warning there may be extra stuff. We had agreed on a material's color and style and then after he was done he mentioned in passing that he switched it for an upstairs room because of the flooring. Again, i understand this may have needed to happen but we would have appreciated being told before he made the choice of the different color and style We are very disappointed with the quality of work and he was not the cheapest by any means. When we continued to express that the quality isnt what he expected his final response was that if it causes any issues that he will come back. But the "look" wasnt an issue. We are not just concerned about it looking tacky and done incorrectly but also what the repercussions of it being incorrectly can be such as stuff getting stuck there, inability to clean properly, The danger it poses for our baby and dogs, etc. He was very pleasant and seemed both professional and thorough when he came out to quote us. read more

I found Rocky here on Yelp. After seeing all the 5 star reviews I thought he'd be worth a shot for a carpet stretching project I needed done. His website mentions a special - $80 for 2 rooms of carpet stretching! I only needed 1 room and a hallway. I contacted him via phone and text. Neither way was particularly easy to communicate. He didn't specify if I needed to move my furniture or not, and when I asked him in advance he said I could move it all, or wait for him to arrive so he could tell me what needed moved. I decided to move the easy stuff and wait on the hard stuff. On the day of the appt, he texted me 2 hours early saying he was already on his way. I wasn't home yet! Told him to come at his appointment time when I would be home. He arrived with no mask and no booties. He didn't even mention being vaccinated. I have a newborn and this made me very uncomfortable. Also thought it was weird that a carpet specialist wouldn't have booties to keep the carpet clean. He checked out the room and hallway; said it would be $160. Wtf? I mentioned the special on his website and he wasn't familiar. Not familiar with your own website? We worked out a deal for $100 even. He said the whole room needed to be empty for the project. Well crap, I'm a lady and my husband was at work. Rocky didn't offer to help. I had to have my dad and brother come over. Thankfully, they live nearby and we're free. If they weren't available, Rocky was going to come back the next day. What? Ok, so now that the pricing is set and the furniture is moved, he can get to work. Wait, no. He didn't have the necessary supplies. Had to run back to his shop. Again, what? Why don't you keep it in your work truck? Waited 2 hours for his return. He finally showed up and did the job, which only took about an hour, yet 4 hours of my day went down the drain due to his lack of moving help, planning and communication.
