Obtained cowboy dies for .40-65. Expander ball was too small (.405"). Called customer service. They sent me correct .408" expander ball quickly and without charge. Very good old school customer service! read more

I have several of RCBS's die sets and some of their equipment at home as I dabble in reloading, so I'm not new to the industry. I believed I had missing parts for a die set I bought and not only did they not laugh at me and my error, they treated me like royalty! Dora went above and beyond to educate me, in the nicest way possible, on how the set was set up but also updated the set under warranty! That's incredible as the set was made in the 60's! They really stand behind their lifetime warranty and proved it in spades! I am very pleased with how good the products they make are and the level of professionalism displayed by the staff. I will be giving them my business every chance I get and can recommend their products with no hesitation. Even though the majority of the products are made here in the USA their price point for the level of quality you get is one of the best values you will find. We took 3 reloading scales of ours to RCBS in Orville from Stockton. 2 weeks later, we called and talked to Mike. And told him we were coming back from Red Bluff and we were going to stop by. We wanted to pick up just 1 of the scales. It was taking to long waiting to hear from them. Mike was so rude on the phone. He would not listen to what we were trying to tell him. He did not want us to stop by. We stopped by anyway. It's a good 2 hour drive from our home. We told him that we would wait in the Lobby, to see what was going on with our scales. He said ... if we wanted to waste a least 2 hours waiting "go ahead". The young girl "receptioneat" heard it all. She said "how you doing" and we said not so good. Then she tried to help us. She then went into the back and said someone would be out to help us. Out came a guy named "Don Legg", he explained what happened with our scales. It wasn't good But ...he was so honest about out happened. Then he did what he could to make it right. Mike didn't have the guts to be honest with us. We didn't do anything wrong. It was all their fault, and Mike was being rude to us. Don Legg we thank you for your awesome customer service. we were so upset with this company after talking to Mike. Really gotta hand it to rcbs. They are phenomenal with their customer service. I was being an idiot and deprimed and resized a 223 cartridge without case lube I thought doing just one wouldn't be an issue (I was wrong). The case got stuck and I was creative with how to get the case out but it got done. However it bent and broke the repriming and sizing rod within that die. Rcbs replaced the rod and pin and gave me some extra pins all for free. read more

I have been reloading for 15yrs and have 3 "Rock Chucker" Press' as well as their Powder devices and of course dies. very happy with the performance of all RCBS equipment. In all of my dealings with this company I am never disappointed. in this last instance i had inquired about a special seat plug for 45/70 dies for the Hornady FTX lever gun projectiles .... I was given a part # and he was sending me the part ! As a hunter and recreational shooter, I have been a customer of RCBS for over 40 years. I own multiple sets of dies, accessories and my current RCBS Press is a vintage Rock Chucker that I have owned in excess of 25 years. RCBS has never failed to work for my reloading needs and they have a service department and policies that put them at the top of the list when it comes to taking care of their customers. Over the years, I have broken a few parts and pieces and they have never charged me a dime to replace. A recent case in point, I stuck a case in one of their dies due to getting improper lube distribution and in the process of extracting the stuck case, I ended up ruining the decapper/expander assy. Thinking I may have damaged the die, I contacted RCBS, they reviewed my information and concluded my die was fine but they still sent me two new decapper/expander assemblies (yes, I ruined one and the sent two) AT NO CHARGE WHAT-SO-EVER without my having to ask for anything.
