They kept my bike for a few days before calling and telling me they needed to order the right ones and some of it was on backorder for a month. The price and time frame didn't work for me so I took it to another shop for a second opinion. The new shop installed the parts I brought and said they WERE the correct parts. I don't know if this was just a mix-up by the technician at North Rim or some other kind of shenanigans to get me to buy expensive parts from them instead of using what I provided. Either way, my trust is gone. They also charged me $20 to take off and put back on the same broken crank set.

Our family took a stroll downtown and my little boy decided to ride his bicycle. On our journey the…read moretraining wheel on his bike got a little loose and wobbly. My Husband tightened it with his fingers, but it needed just a final turn with a wrench. I brightened when I saw Bike Stuff as I was certain we could pop in and someone could easily just tighten that one screw on a training wheel. We walked in and my Husband politely asked and was sternly rebuffed. This person was extremely busy and we would have to make an appointment. SERIOUSLY? You cannot be kind and take 30 seconds to make a little boys day? I even had my wallet in hand prepared to tip $20. Both my Husband and myself have bikes we have been looking to have serviced. We didn't want to have to drive to Nevada City, and Bike Stuff is right around the corner from us. HARD PASS.
