I just have to say WOW!! Wait until you see and feel the difference! I bought my place a few years back and every year when it starts getting hot I dread it. My kids and I will run the air rarely, only on the hottest of days/nights or mostly sleep downstairs half naked when we want to have a lower utility bill or save the planet. I was talking to my friend who owns a large commercial building about saving money, going solar, etc. He told me he was tinting thousands of square feet of his windows because of the energy savings and short time frame for a significant return on his investment. He referred me to R|C who is now helping homeowners and residential customers achieve similar savings! R|C returned my call promptly and basically answered all of my questions as well as gave me an easy to understand tutorial about window films. I didn't know the type of film and the type of glass need to be considered for not only the highest energy savings but also for safety reasons. Too many people consider the darkness of the tint but not the properties of the tint. If you put the wrong type of tint on the windows the heat can't dissipate properly and the window can crack. Some tints are more reflective than others and some tints are clear but reject more heat so it won't alter one's beautiful view! The installer came out to my house and was very punctual. He had all of the tools and didn't require anything of me to get started. Sometimes people want to use the bathroom, get a drink of water, plug in their equipment using your extension cords, etc. R|C was self contained, locked, cocked and ready to rock! This dude looked like Picasso/Bruce Lee/80's break dancer as he bobbed and weaved, washing and scrubbing the glass! After getting it ready he applied the tint with painstaking detail given the large arch window he was working on. All in all I probably had 11 windows tinted that face the sun. It probably took him @ 3 hours to do them all. My french doors were a bit of a bear but he was good natured through it all. I'm. A big fan of being meticulous and so is R|C. As he said, "you look out of your windows everyday. If I use the wrong film or apply it incorrectly you'll see it and then your talk about it so it behooves me to do it right the first time." Wise words my friend. At the end of the day my house feels 10-15 degrees cooler! My electricity bill is lower and I have a little more privacy given the level of exterior reflectivity. Look at me sounding like a pro! Thanks R|C for a job well done. I'll show and tell everyone! If you are considering ways to cool down your house call R|C Window Films and have them tint your windows. Start with all of the windows facing the sun first if you need to break it up in to phases. It is relatively inexpensive and when it is done right the first time you'll thank me! read more

We called RC Window after a friend (a "picky" friend) recommended them to us. I knew since this friend recommended them, that they would do a great job. They came and removed our old film and installed new. They did a great job and did not leave until they knew we were 100% happy with everything. They all were awesome and Max has been great to communicate with! I highly recommend using RC Window Films! read more

I was so impressed with the depth of knowledge presented on their website that I called Max to ask if they did residential jobs in Los Angeles. Sadly, the answer was no. However, Max took time to answer questions I had about solar window film and what to look for in a window film installation company. Thank you, Max; sorry that I am outside your service area. read more

Had all windows in my home tinted with a high quality film. It's not so much a dark film, but a light film that reduces a ton of heat and around 20% of the light. Since we are facing the Murrieta mountains, we get a ton of afternoon sun. I'm very pleased with the selection, quality, and service we got from RC Window Films. I highly recommend this company if you want the best. read more

Couldn't recommend this place more. They did the windows for my wife's business, paramount salon spa, to cut down on the radiant heat and it worked like a charm. Like an idiot I thought I could go to Home Depot, buy some window film and watch a YouTube video and do it myself. I was so wrong. $150 later I had a crumbled ball of window film on the floor, high blood pressure, and a crazy anger at windows. This lead to the search for a professional and happily that ended with RC. It has now been a few months and the windows have stood up to the heat, the cold, and the rain. We are using less AC so honestly the window treatment will probably save me money in the end. I promise you I got no kick back or anything for this review. They are just that awesome. Seriously, if you are considering window treatments just do it and use RC. read more

Max and his team did a great job on my sliding glass windows. I had security film placed on 2 sets of Sliding glass windows (8 mils). The windows are clear and secure. Max is a super nice and professional guy!!!!!! If you are looking to get film put on your windows you have the right place for sure! Plus unlike a lot of contractors these guys show up when they tell you they will, that's very rare no between 8 am and 2 pm stuff. read more

I am SO happy with our exterior window film. We had a MAJOR problem with reflective heat from our low-e windows. It was LITERALLY melting the plastic mouldings on our vehicles. Max was awesome, he got back to me in minutes, and explained all of my options. He got us on schedule quickly, and did a fantastic job. And the film actually make the rooms even cooler! We're super happy with the results, and would wholeheartedly recommend Max's team to anyone. read more

RC Window Films has been absolutely amazing to work with. We reached out to them on 4/25 in desperation. We had turf installed at our house less than 3 months ago by a big name company and our turf has melted on one side of our house. My husband and I, naive I suppose, had no idea melting turf was a "thing". We reached out to said company who installed it and they told us that they have seen it happen before, but it's not covered under our warranty. This company never educated us on the possibility of melting or ways we could prevent it. Enter Max at RC Window Films. We told him our story and he was upset for us and truly concerned for what we were going through. He has gone above and beyond to help us in navigate this problem with the turf company, even reaching out to them on his own, and hopefully they will be replacing the damaged areas. Joe was our installer and he is just as great as Max. He also went above and beyond and listened to my concerns about the turf. He was honest, fast working, accurate, gave me his honest advice and opinion on film colors and what windows to cover. As I said, we made first contact with this company on 4/28 and our job was fully completed by 9:30am on 5/1. This timeframe includes them having to order the product. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Very professional. On time. Delivered great ideas. Priced per sq ft. Film on our windows instantly cut the heat. Worth every dollar spent.

100% the best decision we have made to improve our house. The quality in window film and work done has made using AC unnecessary. The customer service and responsiveness from RC Window Films has been nothing but excellent. If you're thinking about doing it, do it. We are very happy with the result. read more

My low e windows have been burning my backyard furniture and trampoline for years. I'm about to upgrade my backyard but feared it would be a waste of money if everything would be burnt. I reached out to RC Window Films online and Max called me right away. He was quite knowledgable, talked me through my options and cost, even sent me some photos to help me decide on the best options for my home. He came out in less than a week from when I initially reached out, called before arriving and arrived on time. He was super professional, friendly, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. I could not be more pleased with the result. Besides protecting my backyard, my master bedroom felt immediately cooler. The materials are a little pricey but a good investment in protecting your yard in sunny California. I'd highly recommend RC Windows in making the process painless. read more

Max at RC Windows did an amazing job at our company for frosting our glass windows. Very professional and thorough.

Very responsive!!! Unfortunately, if I included every window in the house, I would not be able to come up with the minimum 20 windows.

Max was awesome to work with! He is extremely knowledgeable and gave a very thorough demonstration on the various home window film products. Our HOA is restrictive on the types of window films that can be applied and Max worked with us to ensure that we found the best possible product that complied with our HOA's rules. I appreciate that he tested our windows to verify that the applied film would not damage our existing windows. I also like that he only recommended treating the windows with the greatest sun exposure. We have had the film for a couple of months and there is a significant difference in the temperature of the rooms that were treated with the film. I am certain that this film will very quickly pay for itself via decreased AC use. read more

I have my home office in a sunroom. It's impossible to use in the afternoon due to the bright sun from four curved windows near the ceiling. I had RC install film on them and it was a wonderful solution. I can still see clearly through the film, but it's made the room comfortable to work in. I highly recommend the business. read more

This is by far my favorite window tinting company to do business with. I did some research online to find someone to apply security film and window tinting to help with the heat as well as protecting our facility from unwanted introducers and RC window films was exactly who I wanted to work with. With a 15,000 sqft of glass, I knew this wasn't an easy task and it's not something any business can handle. But RC window films exceeded my expectations. Not only did they beat the competitors price but there where the whole way answering all my questions and help spec in the project. I waited a month to post this review to make sure everything was done perfect. And sure enough, the film installed was exactly what were looking for. Flawless job done by professional and friendly crew. Thank You RC window Films! read more

About one year ago, I received an estimate from a different window tinting company. So, I assumed I knew how this estimate would go, simple explanation and price, I'm glad I was wrong. Max came and thoroughly educated me on my options and benefits. It's safe to say that we chose them to install our tint and we are so pleased with their work that I had to write a review, complimenting them! Max and team, keep up the good work, I will refer you to anyone that needs an honest, punctual, price efficient, educated installer! read more

RC Window Films is a great company. They are professional and knowledgeable, very quick to responed and get your job done. I first had them come to do a few windows. While they were here, I had asked them to do a few more. "it was no problem." They added them on and I did not have to wait for a new appt. Now that it's been hot I can really feel the difference. If you have windows with the hot sun beating on them all day, I highly recommend you call them. We have a large retail space that was in desperate need of some UV protection. We actually found RC Window Films here on Yelp and gave him a call. From the start to finish Max was very informative and professional. He was able to get all of windows done before we opened for business the following morning. The windows are absolutely stunning now. I have had many tinting jobs over the years and these guys are by far the best. I have them scheduled to do my residential windows in Wine Country next week. Amazing product! Amazing customer service! We had just a few of our windows tinted. We wanted to block out the sun from a few windows and remove glare from a few others. They came out and measured gave as a quote on the spot. We scheduled a date and time for them to come install right then and there. On the day of installation they came promptly at the scheduled time. They helped take down the blinds, cleaned the windows, put the film on, placed the blinds just as they were and helped put the curtains back up so that my home would be just as it was before anything was done (but 100X cooler). There is no glare (we can actually see the tv during the day now). And the house is sooo much cooler. The product is of amazing quality and comes with an awesome warranty. You won't regret going with RC window films. They are the best choice for all your home window tinting needs. read more

We had RC Window films out because we were exploring other options before replacing several old windows that let in too much heat. The install was fast and professional and we love the results. read more

It has been about 8 weeks since I got my windows at home tinted. I was in the market to tint three large windows to help prevent damage from UV rays to my furniture. I wanted to take the time to tell everyone that Max at RC Window Films is very professional and outstanding with customer service. Max arrived the day of our appointment and discussed different types of films he installs. He also took the time to educate me on the types of films and how they differ from one another. After installation, Max took the time to present his work and explained the things that may or may not happen after installation (water bubbles) and how it can take up to 8 weeks to go away. A week into it a bubble did appear. At the six week mark, I contacted Max and he did not hesitate to fit me in his schedule. Max came to my house once again and assured me the water bubble would go away. Believing Max was able to see my concerned face, he took it upon himself to press the water bubble out and clean the windows from the exterior to make sure I was completely satisfied. Less than a week later, the film looks amazing! I will be only using RC Window Films for any of my residential window tint needs. Thanks Max for all that you do and driving from North County (1hr drive) all the way down to South Bay!! read more
