My husband and I bought a new home and purchase furniture from RC Willey. The furniture arrived infested with bed bugs. Terminix and Nash Pest Control confirmed the bed bugs came from the supposedly new furniture we bought from RC Willey. They refused to take responsibility, blamed us, called us liars and delayed our move in by 6 weeks. Please see pictures as proof of the issue. Well, I see all the negative reviews for the store, but I have to say, I had a pretty much perfect experience with an online/phone appliance order. Lisa, I think it was, was helpful all the way, and I ended up cancelling my Home D. order that had a much wider delivery order and going price match with RC Willey. (They give a window of a few hours, versus H.D. was like 7 AM to 11 PM or something!) I ordered an "ivory" under-drawer for the washer thinking that that was white (since I didn't see a separate one labeled white), and it turns out when they got it here it is cream and doesn't match, and they are sending a new one no problem. (The delivery guys relayed the issue to Lisa.) One could argue about whether it was my mistake or they should have caught it, or both, but they (Lisa) DIDN'T argue or blame me, just solved the problem. The delivery guys were fine and nice and no scratches or anything-- maybe a bit much cussing when I wasn't nearby, maybe tone it down a bit for delicate customer ears ha ha, but it's all good. I really don't have any issues with my experience. It felt like small-town service, and I'd never deal with H. Depot again. read more

I have never been so upset in my life. If you do not want to"certain people" in your store you need to tell people. Myself, my mother, AND my father all have a credit card to RC Willy's. My mother had the people come out and measure the floors for carpeting and hard flooring in the bathrooms. She went to the store today to finalize everything. After speaking with Greg in carpeting we headed to financing/cashier. Your cashier Victoria was there. She is so mean to my mom. We have spent thousands at your store and I will say I will NEVER EVER go back again! She insulted my mom, asked to see two different credit cards to make sure my mom could afford it (that is NONE of her business), demanded to know my mom's employer (again none of her business), and after my mom became stressed out and said forget it she mocked my mom. I completely lost my composure seeing my mom cry. This woman has absolutely NO customer service skills and literally lost you a 5 thousand dollar deal. My mom was putting it on her card. She has perfect credit and can go ANYWHERE! Your employee lost you a sale! We now will take our business somewhere else. You won't get a second chance to treat my mom that way. How dare you RC Willy? My mom is 75 and you made her cry! And in carpeting they did even know what room is what! You didn't have the carpet she wanted anyway. I was buying two dressers soon. Nope not from you! I spent $12k on what appeared to be some very nice furniture back in May 2024. Some of the furniture was custom and took 3 months to get (Amish Table and chairs...understandable). The other furniture was delivered to my house. The TV stand was improperly put together and missing screws. Half of the pieces of the very expensive couch were damaged and had to be returned. Here we are in November 2024, and RC Willey has been back several times with replacement couch pieces and it still isn't right. My Amish made table is a different story. The RC Willey loading crew dropped my table top cracking one corner badly, and over drove at least one screw in three of the chair seats. Here we are, over six months later, and I am still waiting for the replacement tables and chairs. I am very dissatisfied with RC Willey. I have been patiently working with RC Willey for months to have these things made right to no avail. Perhaps a lawsuit is what RC Willey needs to make things right. read more

We've never had a problem with new merchandise from RC Willey, and we've been customers for over 18 years. That being said, we purchased a dishwasher from their clearance section. The previous owner had cut the end of the drain hose so we could not complete the installation. We could NOT get anyone to help us. After two weeks of getting the "run around", and being told we can't exchange it without "exhausting all options", we decided to take matters into our own hands. We paid an extra $75 dollars to order a new hose directly from LG. After replacing the hose ourselves and finishing the installation, we still have heard from no one! The sales rep has not responded, and the customer service rep who I tried to get to help from never followed through. I'm super disappointed. Due to the lack of follow through, and lack of communication, I will NOT be returning anytime soon. read more

When I called to check status they said it is coming from Utah and will take, "a few days". This is for an a/c unit in the middle of a heat wave. RC willey is such a scam. We went in a few months ago and found a couch we really liked so we took a picture of the tag so we could remember the name. It was the Kelsey couch for $1700. With their Labor Day "sale" coming up, we decided to pull the trigger and get the couch we had been wanting. We show up to RC willey and headed straight for the couch and we found it! There it was, the Kelsey couch, and it was on sale!! .... For $1800?! We thought that couldn't be right so we pulled up our old picture and low and behold, the Kelsey couch was "on sale" for MORE MONEY THAN THE REGULAR PRICE OF THE COUCH. this is really scummy to do towards your customers. we've always purchased everything at RC Willey great prices nice people good extended warranty . or so we thought we needed a new recliner for my husband . purchased a recliner for over $1400 got the extended warranty just in case . It turned out it had a messed up base. Won't rock feet won't go up right now but it's an easy fix. chair was a MONTH OLD Just needs a new base. they sent someone out ordered a base. No problem. I receive a text. Message base is not covered. You will have to pay for it. Wait what's going on? I I get a very rude woman who tells me that it's not covered I should've read my warranty. Well, I've read everything I was given which was a receipt. she then goes on to say it was my responsibility to find the warranty information but could not tell me where to even find it, it's somewhere on the website. I even spoke with my salesman who was shocked to discover it was not covered. Their solution was to sell me another chair, no credit for this one so I guess I am out the $1400. Bottom line they could care less about their customers. I am starting to feel like Mark, the other 1 star review. Purchased a living room set, to find out the pull out sofa was never fully put together. Missing a screw and the other screw wasn't even screwed in all the way. Took almost 2 months just to get them to make a decision of what they would do even though it's under warranty. And I had to be on their A** about it too. I always had to call them. Found out because of how crappy all sofas are made, and the arm rests being foam, this was told to us by techs as RC Wiley, they needed repair too. So tell me RC Wiley, why are you not being UPFRONT and HONEST with your customers. The arm rests were not fixed but they still delivered the couch. I can't help things are a mess and you don't have room to have my couch in the warehouse. At this point sounds like I should just be given a new couch, but I know that won't happen. This has all transpired since September. Won't tell people to buy RC Wiley anymore. I guess I need to go elsewhere too, but in the hole $2500 with you for crappy furniture and shoddy work. Used to be our one stop shop for furniture and appliances. Things have really gone downhill. Took six attempts to get a very expensive American made sectional sofa right when the pieces kept coming in damaged. Then they pushed the delivery on a table I ordered several months without even notifying me. And I had paid the product in full. I was told by an employee that they turned my shipment away because they did not have warehouse space to store it, so it was an RC Willey problem, not a manufacturer problem. When I asked to sell me the floor model they refused because then they can't get other customers to purchase products they can't deliver. I give two stars all because Kip the salesman tried his damnedest to make things right. He gave me his cell phone number and even responded to text inquiries after hours. It's a level of customer service I have not seen for a very long time. The kid should be management and figure out how to infect the rest of the store with that work ethic. When I moved to Reno in 2012 I had no furniture because I drove here from Connecticut, just me and my cat. I signed a lease to my apartment and was excited to get some cool items. The first store I visited was RC Willey and then I checked every other furniture store in Reno. After sitting on hundreds of sofas, I went back to the very first one I sat on. I also purchased a dining room table and four chairs, then an accent chair, then another accent chair. RC Willey was my fav. This sofa and furniture stayed with me for a long time until I felt like switching they style up when I moved into my house. I purchased another sofa from RC and of course another accent chair because it happened to be on sale. My mom and I browsed the store yesterday and it all came back to me. The helpful sales people, the size of the store, the smell of the store, and some of the prices were unbelievable. I should have trusted my original instinct to stay away from RC Willey but I decided to give them another chance. I saw a pedestal recliner with ottoman on sale so I ventured into the store on February 10 and bought the item. The sales clerk seemed a bit under-informed and needed to ask me for the SKU for the item to complete the sale. I checked the RC Willey ad in my email and gave it to her. Once I returned home I realized that I was charged $679.99 for an item that was advertised on sale for $549.99, a substantial overcharge. I don't know if the sales clerk was just confused or if she was trying to pad her commission. I emailed the store thru their web site and heard nothing. I waited a few more days and used the "contact us" feature on their website again and after nearly 2 weeks, still no response. My parents bought from RC Willey years ago so when I needed a bed I thought I would go there. What a mistake. I bought a frame, box spring and mattress for a reasonable price. I like a firm mattress. This one is what I would describe as medium firm which was firm enough for me. It was fine for about two months and then quickly became soft as a marshmallow. I woke up with terrible low back pain every day. I went back to RC Willey and told them. They said it had a 10 year warranty. They sent a guy out with what looked like a one ounce fishing sinker with fishing line. He stretched it out across the bed. Well obviously the mattress is not going to sink when it is under such little weight. It sinks when I lay down on the mattress. Unsurprisingly, about a week and a half later I received a letter stating that there is no defect and they would not be replacing the mattress. Sadly, about six months after buying this junk from RC Willey, I was at a local mattress company buying a firm mattress. They told me they won't even stock the brand I bought at RC Willey. The new mattress is wonderful. I only wish I had bought locally to begin with. Lesson learned. read more

I have spent thousands of dollars at RC Willey. I will never buy anything or do any business with RC Willey again. My experience with a sectional couch purchase was awful. I paid hundreds for an extended warranty that was represented by the sales person as money well invested to repair any scratches, tears, or clean or replace the product if unable to fix or clean. A guest set a cup of coffee on the fold down cup holder table and it blistered the incredibly thin laminate even though I immediately interceded within minutes and had the guest use a coaster. I asked for service under the warranty and they said they could not do anything under the warranty. I fixed it myself by merely turning the fold down table over and re-screwing it in. It took me 10 minutes. This was only a few weeks after purchasing the sofa. I hadn't even made the first payment on it. Later, a scratch appeared on the couch. They came out and said it was due to my dog and would not repair it. It is just a scratch not even more than a surface scratch and did not puncture the fabric. There is no evidence it was my dog other than that I have a dog. I am not sure how the scratch happened, but I think it was a grandchild that may have done it while playing on the couch. I bought the extended warranty at the salespersons urging because it would keep my couch like new due to accidents or spills. Strike two for RC Willey. I then purchased a master bedroom furniture set for thousands of dollars. The salesperson kept saying over and over it was solid hard wood and would last a lifetime. Within 6 months the furniture literally began falling apart. The laminate on the foot of one of the nightstands fell off. The top of of one of the nightstands buckled and warped due to the thinness of the laminate. I guess it is about 1 1/12th of an inch thick. This is not exactly hardwood as the salesman kept emphasizing. Two drawers on the chest and one on the dresser warped and gaps appeared making it obvious the drawers were not sitting straight within the glides. At this point, I wanted a refund for the whole set and for them to pick this inferior furniture up and take it back and allow me to purchase quality furniture elsewhere. RC Willey refused even after I complained to the Better Business Bureau. The BBB was worthless. I wanted them to arbitrate and decide impartially if the furniture was as worthless as it is. The BBB advised me to go to a state consumer protection agency because they "could not force RC Willey to accept binding arbitration. I think this is because RC Willey donates a large sum of money to the BBB so they appear to have a conflict of interest. I attempted to have them let me pick out something else at RC Willey to no avail. Against my better judgement, I accepted that RC Willey would order replacement pieces for the warped, discoloring, and falling apart nightstand and three warped drawer fronts. After four months, they sent a guy to come and deliver the night stand pieces and drawer fronts and repair the failing items. The drawer fronts were for the wrong drawers and the incorrect size. They sent only the three smaller drawer fronts to the chest and nothing for the dresser. There should have been two larger drawer fronts for the chest and a different size for the dresser. The service guy removed 16 screws from the night stand top and was unable to budge and remove the warped, ugly top. This service man Saul was excellent, he was able to adjust the drawer fronts using his tools to my satisfaction without replacing the drawer fronts. He could not repair the dresser as it had never been noted that there was a problem with its drawer. Ironically, the second nightstand warped and discolored like the first one while waiting for the parts to be shipped to RC Willey. They must have anticipated this because they sent two replacement tops instead of the one I had requested. The great service guy call his boss and explained the top would not come off of the nightstand and they decided to take have someone else come and pick up my nightstands and new tops and wrong drawer fronts weeks later. The service guys refused to pick them up and take the furniture because there was a few dog hairs inside the drawers. I had not cleaned these albatrosses because I was furious about RC Willey and did not even look at them. Anyway, after giving the service men an earful (sorry guys) I got them to come out again after I vacuumed up the two dog hairs and they picked up the poor quality, poorly manufactured nightstands to repair them. I have been without nightstands for two weeks now and contacted a manager to look into all of this and he promised to try to resolve this situation and call me back. It has been three business days and still no call back. I plan to contact Nevada consumer protection and file a complaint and see if they can help resolve this so I can get some real furniture from a company that cares about what its product quality and has some integrity. read more

I went to them after Ashley furniture never delivered my couch when they said and I had to cancel and they charged me $350 to deliver a mattress. I ordered a couch and coffee table from RC Wiley and they delivered when they said, constantly informed me date and time of delivery and who driver was, all for $89. Alfredo Gomez at RC Willey's appliance department is awesome! He was very knowledgeable about which manufacturer had the features I was looking for within the price range I stated. He also was very helpful to secure the sales price of the refrigerator without committing fully. I took him up on putting a % down which also reserved my actual refrigerator even though I hadn't made my decision to complete the purchase. This locked in the current price which was $100.00 off plus allowed me to wait to see if any sales happened. This was great since Memorial Day was approaching and could potentially see the refrigerator go on sale even further. That didn't happen nor did it get discounted for July 4th sales but I did get a sales email showing the same refrigerator was an additional $100.00 plus eligible for a $75.00 off coupon. Alfredo honored both those discounts plus informed me that Samsung also has a $200.00 rebate. All of this wouldn't have been possible had he not assured me of the ability to wait up to three months to take delivery plus any further reduction if one should occur up to 30 days post delivery. So now the total for my new BeSpoke, including taxes, water line and extended warranty is less than the price of it when I first secured the refrigerator the beginning of May. That is excellent customer service and I feel Alfredo went way above and beyond in helping me secure what I need and want in a new refrigerator as well as getting an incredible price!
