Update @ bottom of review. Do not purchase anything from this company. We bought a fridge over a week ago that was supposed to be delivered today, I called to see where the delivery man was at and the lady said that you are not on the delivery schedule. We do not even have that fridge in stock. We are going to have to get it shipped and then delivered to you at a later date. We bought our daughter a bed that was supposed to be delivered last Friday, it was never delivered. We called today to see what was happening and they said we don't have that bed in stock, it will not be delivered until the middle of January over a month after purchased. Craziest part about this all is that we purchased these items in store, not even online. So they know they don't have it in stock, but they still let you purchase it, and give you a fake estimated delivery date so that you purchase it and they have you on the hook . The other crazy part is they don't call and tell you they're not going to deliver it. they just don't show up. Don't give you a new estimated date, and just leave you sitting there wondering when you're going to receive your product. Update*** A manager from RC Willey reached out quickly after the review was posted and resolved my issue. Seems that the employees were new and made some mistakes. Nobody is perfect! read more

My husband and I went to this location only one person greeted us. No one asked if we needed help or what brought us to the company. We felt like the employees were judging us by race it felt like they acted weird around us. Mind you they didn't even ask about credit cards or finance I would definitely not be shopping here and take our business somewhere else. We've been a long-term customer of RC Willey (at their former store there in Murray on 9th East....now long gone) and have enjoyed their selection of furniture, appliances, electronics, and bedding for the 22 years we've lived here in Sandy. It was always where we looked first for things we needed, and we usually found it there. We now patronize the new and larger Draper store off I-15 at the Bangerter exit and recently did so again for their Labor Day sales. We purchased a new - and on-sale - pillow-top Serta mattress and bed frame for our guest bedroom. Yes, we went online, did our research, and found the item on sale...and quickly located the same bed in the store...and test-drove it. After a quick nap (just kidding), we found it comfortable...and made the purchase. We appreciate the great customer service from our salesman there in bedding ("Mr. Vice President"), and the free delivery took place four days later. Easily set up and was a done deal. My wife loves the no-interest financing and we take advantage of that every purchase. No fuss, no muss! Easily done and always come away happy with our purchases. We even left with a three-ceramic-bowl food warmer/server after we visited financing with our receipt. Walked away with that nice unit for $19.00. Part of reply from customer service stated 'basically your son got footboard for free' Excerpt from 'customer service' .... have looked into your account and I am showing that your son has basically gotten this headboard for free from the inconvenience allowance and the keep as is allowance we provided. I apologize for the inconveniences your son has experienced with this process, but we will not be offering any more money off and we will not be exchanging again due to the acceptance of the keep as is allowance. Once again, I was NOT asking for further discount of a broken piece, but to shed light on the stores poor customer service. I purchased our washer & dryer online but it turns out that I wasn't super clear on ALL the exact parts that were NEEDED/required for our machines. Delivery was communicative & on time. When they arrived they notified me that we did not purchase all the needed parts but they brought them along just in case we wanted to buy them. Of course, we said yes since we needed our machines to work! The delivery men got onto their phones & helped us purchase the needed parts over the phone while they set everything up. Purchased a dishwasher and it was installed by a third party (through RC Willey) and they were great. Willing to work with my schedule. Unfortunately the dishwasher is malfunctioning and RC Willey said they will replace it. But this time RC Willey is doing it and they can't tell me even close to a time of day it will be installed until 6pm the night before so plan on taking an entire day off because they can't figure things out like every other installer. But wait, dishwasher shows up today and the guy says he doesn't install, just delivers. So now after wasting a day and spending forever with customer service they're telling me I need to pay more because they forgot to charge me correctly the first time. Even though I checked with the sales guy that this is the price for installation. Even though they installed it just fine the first time. Now I have to pay more for them to replace a faulty dishwasher. So just go somewhere else that doesn't charge customers for the company mistakes and actually has customer service that won't waste entire days because they can't figure out when they can show up. read more

RC Willey flooring department is way overpriced for their product and installation. They farm out install, in my case to 5 Star, and you are dependent on the installer to manage the job. Annie at RC Willey is just there to take your money. The install was done by a crew that had "No" leadership. They caused a flood in my home by not following my instructions. It took the owner of 5 Star, on a holiday, to remedy some of the issues. After discussing the work done with friends, I regret showing loyalty to RC Willeys I should have gone to Home Depot or Lowe's for a MUCH better price on LVP flooring (20% less) and tighter control on install...done by adults not kids. read more

1. Trim came off on top. 2. First step down is crooked. Left side 10.25 wide, the right is 11.25 wide 3. Was a total hassle dealing with the sub-contractor, 5 Star Flooring. Just a bunch of teenagers doing the work. I pointed out that the stair was crooked. I had to keep such a close eye on them because the way they were going to do a couple of things was totally wrong. RCW sent out the guy in charge of them, he said yes, it's crooked. When the kids came back out they didn't fix anything. 4. Today I had the worst customer service experience with RC Willey delivery/service person named Jackson. He came to my house to ratify a previous dryer faulty installation. He seemed aggressive and unhappy to be doing such job. When I described my concerns he told me I could done it myself. When I reminded him I paid for such services so didn't have to do it myself, he got angry and said he was leaving my house. I still requested for him to move the dryer back to where it was originally, he refused and left. Immediately I escalated the situation to their management and later they sent someone else to fix the bad service I received. Nevertheless I had to wait for most of my busy day to get it resolved besides the aggravation I had to endure from this individual. Stay away from RC Willey's delivery/service personnel. Updated: You'll notice below that the store responded to my review and did exactly what I mentioned in the review. They're dismissive of the issue and keep saying the website is clear. If it was as clear as they all think we wouldn't be here. And they've offered no solutions. They absolutely could drop ship to their store, deliver, and assemble. They could even charge for the service, much like the blue rewards program that offers white glove service that I paid extra for. They just chose not to. ------- I had a frustrating experience with the RC Willey team. I paid for their Blue Rewards program, which includes "white glove" delivery. However, that's not what I received. Instead, they just drop-shipped the items for me to carry and assemble on my own. I specifically paid extra to avoid assembling furniture--if I wanted to do that, I'd go to IKEA. When I reached out via phone, chat, and email, their response was the same: "The website clearly states it." If I missed that information, then their website isn't as clear as they think it is. Repeatedly pointing this out came across as dismissive, as though I'm incapable of understanding. We recently purchased a washer and dryer from RC Wiley and paid for delivery and set up. The delivery people left with the door to the room left off the hinges and neglected to turn the water on. As the valve hidden behind the dryer and we couldn't get to it the washer was not functional. it took many phone calls and a number of days for them to return - with dirty laundry piling up! After the second installers left we realized that the washer was not level and operates with excessive vibration. This is the worst consumer service I can recall and we will likely never buy from them again! read more

Terrible service! On May 1, 2024, I purchased a sofa and loveseat full price, paid for delivery service.... Four deliveries later I still don't have an acceptable furniture set. First delivery included two loveseats... took one back... the one left at my home had recliner motor bad.... Next delivery another sofa... not loveseat... Next delivery loveseat... defective and cushions not fitting right.... Next delivery 5/16/2024 to replace loveseat... NOPE brought sofa instead... Each time I clear my schedule on scheduled day of delivery. The night before delivery a text comes with an estimated delivery window of 2 hours. The next morning a more accurate time window is given.... Over four days have been spent waiting for the property deliveries and I still have at least one more day to set aside to get it correct hopefully. Waiting again for another delivery scheduled tomorrow sometime.... Communication breakdowns are plentiful because more often than not the wrong item is delivered. This is ridiculous... Julia was the salesperson and she told me that if the furniture went on sale within a certain time, they would refund the difference between the full price and the sale price.... so it went on sale so Monday May 13, 2024; I call Julia multiple times... no answer. Julia finally texts me (see below) Saying she is on vacation and to call customer service. So I call Customer Service to arrange the refund.... They said they couldn't do it... it must be Julia... I text Julia and she says one of her team members can do it.... SO I call Mel (on Julia's team). Asked her to do the refund.... She said she did not want to do it so I had to get ahold of Julia.... It wasn't worth her time because it had to do with Julia's paycheck... not Mel's .... Julia is still on vacation... still waiting... I purchased the sofa and loveseat on May 1, 2024. Today is May 16 and I still do not have correct loveseat and Sofa in My Home... another delivery needs to happen and I hope it is the correct merchandise with no defects. I'm extremely disappointed in RC Willey. Paying $3300 for a sofa set should be plenty of money to get quality merchandise delivered in a timely manner. read more

Sadly they had to remove and replace a couch that an earlier RC Willey team had delivered and damaged (and happened to be rude). Rc willey has good furniture but they are a business that sells it and doesn't make it. There floor models are broke.unplugged or stuffed in a display were you can't recline because there is no space. They have screwed up my last 4 deliveries by taking it to the wrong address 3 times then delivering a incomplete sectional and now I'm home waiting for a new couch and they messed that up and I'm told it's coming 2 days later. I bought a set of leather couches that I paid 3 thousands dollars for plus the "warranty" according to the seller RC Willey, and the warranty would take care of the couch cleaning and leather treatment with no limits. What they did not say is that you have to call right away if there is spot in the couch to clean and that they only clean one spot at the time. So, it could take months to have just a pillow cleaned. This is a big fraud. They never explained anything or I wouldn't have bought anything from them. Costco has a better warranty and are honest. Now, I am 3 thousand dollars poorer and stuck with a beige couch that is Imposible to clean. I could get a better couch and a better warranty from Costco or Walmart. Not to mention that it took forever for RC Willer to answer a phone call. Completely ridiculous! This is why you are losing business to your competitors. read more

If you're from Utah, chances are you've heard of RC Willey-you may even own a piece of furniture from there. It's a well-known store that has been around forever. When you walk in, prepare to be greeted and possibly followed by ambitious sales people. Sometimes that's helpful, but it's hit or miss on the person that finds you. I've had experiences with folks that I didn't connect with and they had a hard time helping me find what I'm looking for. But I've also had very helpful sales people that not only understood my vision but picked out pieces that complement each other for the perfect look. Be sure to check out the clearance "scratch and dent" section upstairs. If you find something you love, don't wait-snatch it up right away. We missed out on something by a few minutes by not following that guidance. The products here are not the highest quality, but it's better than what you'll find at IKEA. Avoid RC Willey and the Samsung Bespoke 29 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Family Hub. We purchased the Blue Rewards for delivery and got the extended warranty. Our new fridge was delivered on 12/2/24. Unfortunately during delivery my hardwood floors got scratched but I decided not to complain because accidents happen and the delivery guys felt bad. Now I'm having an issue with my fridge; today is 12/20/24. When I got home from work tonight I opened the fridge to find a huge crack on the inside liner. I immediately called RC Wllley Customer Service and was told sorry it's cosmetic so we can't help you since you outside our 14 days replacement policy. RC Willey referred me to Samsung so I called the phone number they gave me. Samsung gave me the same BS about we only cover mechanical defects and they referred me back to RC Willey. So here I sit with a brand new fridge that's cracked and will continue to crack because it's the bottom liner where the doors seal. This isn't a cosmetic issue. This is a manufacturing issue. Was at your 2300 s 300 w slc ut store on December 14. We were Looking to purchase another fridge in white...the salesman told us the fridge was not available in white. We were told before we could special order if we were willing to wait. He said a firm NO and literally turned his back to us letting us know we were being dismissed! We have always bought their products going back to 1990 from TVs, to all our kitchen appliances, couches, recliners, hide-a-bed but I doubt we will ever buy again. We went to get a new mattress, headboard and box springs. What a joke this has been! We live rural so delivery comes once a week. I paid for the annual blue rewards to get free delivery. The salesman wrote up the ticket for all the pieces. When the delivery truck came at 7:45 pm they informed us they didn't have the footboard, side rails and the other parts to put the bed together. Also as we looked at the mattress it was 4" short (King size should be 80" long) I was upset since this new set was to accommodate my Thanksgiving weekend guests. I called the salesman to tell him I was very unhappy and this was his response "Well you aren't the first and you won't be the last". That didn't sit well but I wanted to get this solved. After a lot of discussion we decided we would pick up the rest of the parts on December 2nd since we were going to Salt Lake. The salesman said he would have all the parts ready for us. We picked these up at the Orem pickup area and they said everything was there. He also scheduled someone to actually come to our house to look at the mattress but they can't come until December 10th. We got the boxes home and opened them up and we have the wrong frame for our headboard and NO footboard. The salesman is now going to have a whole new order of headboard, footboard and side rails and delivered now December 18th. I'm doubtful it will be right when they come but I guess we'll see. read more

I've spent too much money here for the issues I have had. I purchased a $6k leather sectional made from top grain leather. It started peeling two years in. They refunded half the cost, but I still have $6k leather couches peeling leather. I bought a $3,800 fridge from them that had to be replaced 3x. First one had the door damaged on delivery. Second one had a caster missing that scratched the hardwood floor in a brand new home. 3rd fridge they refused to deliver with the expensive stainless steel hose for the water supply. They refused to get the hose for me or refund the money. Final fridge they scraped into the brand new front door (12' tall and 5' wide wtf!) In March of this year we ordered a baby furniture set that was on back order. We were expecting twins. We lost the babies, and they cancelled the order for us. We are expecting again, and the same set went from $1249 to $2149. Five months later and almost double the price! They are 100% taking advantage of people with the inflation issues happening. Take your money somewhere else, who isn't ripping you off or damaging your new custom built home! read more

5 stars due to customer server and selection. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Above and Beyond! Service Associate, Mr. Jonathan Call, really went above and beyond in providing us with exceptional customer service. We were shopping for an ottoman since our previous one was 10 years old and ratty. We looked throughout the whole store and couldn't find what we were looking for. Then alas, as we were completing our walkthrough, we found an ottoman that matched our needs and wants. Jon was very friendly, conversational, and accommodating. He ran the transaction for us and advised that the item was on backorder, but that he would place an order. He provided us his business cell # so we could text him with inquiries throughout the week. I texted him for updates the following weekend, and he texted me back within 5 minutes. Very responsive! He also left a voice-message advising that the ottoman has arrived, but was awaiting unloading off the truck. The next day, he texted letting us know that the ottoman was ready for pick-up, and where exactly we could drive to receive it. We didn't even need to exit the car (especially nice during COVID). Never experienced quick, happy and pain-free customer service like this. GREAT JOB JON! The store is beautiful and spacious. Also they have a lot of interactive areas (big chess/checkers boards/Nintendo switch's etc.). Pretty cool furniture store. They had a really nice selection, both upstairs and downstairs. I bought a La-z-Boy rocker recliner 3 months ago from RC Willey and I absolutely HATE IT! I've owned other La-z-Boys in the past and they at least will last around 5 years... not nearly as long as they once did. My "new" La-z-Boy is already making creaking, popping noises and has been extremely uncomfortable from the start. I thought it might break in and become more comfortable, but I'm afraid it's just going to break instead. This is not the first bad experience I've had from RC Willey, but it is going to be the last! It has been two weeks since ordering my dishwasher. RC Willey claims a "third party" has the unit so they can install it. After multiple calls, the 3rd party, a company called Certified Installs, shows up just to say "We need $150 for extra parts, and we think there is mold, so you have to wait another weeks". There was, seriously, no mold. it was dog fur that I cleaned up in less than a minute with a paper towel. No one else has needed extra parts, but I would have been willing to pay in order to have this sad story reach a finish. I can't help but feel that I am being extorted for money on top of money just to get what I originally paid for. Mark Pistorious at the Salt Lake location has helped my Husband and I many times and we refuse to go anywhere or through anyone else. Mark helped us find the best quality washer/dryer, dishwasher, 65" television, a sound bar, and two laptops for the amount we were looking to spend. Mark is a good honest man and RC Willey has always been there for support if we need it. If you are unfortunate to have had a negative experience at RC Willey, I urge you to give them another chance. I have been working with RC Willey flooring department for the last couple of months - after so much confusion they finally figured out the carpet in my house. Now i am waiting for someone to call me back ( repeated calls and a call to Corporate as well ). As of today no call back. I am waiting to get my bathroom flooring done.
