My sales person Mike was phenomenal. But when I called another employee to ask about a Snap payment that I didn't know was coming (my bad for not reading the paperwork), the staff, especially Nate (in sales) and Katie in the office at 7200 S State St, were awful. I was upset, and afraid bc my rent payment got eaten up by the unexpected $200 payment. as I tried to apologize for my part of the difficult conversation, Katie was EXTREMELY passive aggressive, and then she hung up on me! I was trying to take accountability for MY part in getting upset and letting it get worse with the shoddy customer service skills. Wow. (Which wouldn't have happened if people knew how to LISTEN to a customer when they are upset. Interrupting them and being rude only escalates a frustrated, scared person.) Zero compassion. And zero accountability on their parts. Katie actually used my sincere apology against me to make me feel belittled AS she hung up on me. SMH. This is the best place to purchase a mattress. The mattress warehouse has a really big selection and the sales person that helped us was really nice, as well as knowledgeable. He did not make us feel any pressure to purchase a mattress. Also, the people who came and installed the mattress were really nice and friendly as well. I wanted to buy one of those bed in a box mattresses online but was a little skeptical not trying before buying so I called around to see if anyone carried them. Luckily mattress warehouse did so I went right over. I was nervous they would be all over me trying to sell but it was the opposite. Erik greeted me at the door and showed me to the bed I was interested in. He left me for a bit and came back and I informed him that I hated the bed I came in to try. He showed me some others and made sure to ask all the necessary questions when it comes to buying a bed. I finally found my perfect bed thanks to the help of Erik! He was so kind and easy to work with, answered all my questions and I never felt pressure to buy. (He is also very patient because I tried about every bed on site to make sure I found the perfect one.) They have a great return policy if you're unhappy with your bed after trying in home for 30 days. There was a little hiccup with the original bed I purchased but Erik made sure to help me find an even better bed at the same great price to make sure I left the store happy. Not only did I find my perfect bed but also the worlds most comfortable pillows, very excited to go to sleep tonight. I do trust the staff here and would definitely recommend! Terry at the Draper location was simply amazing, he knew what questions to ask so he could direct me to the correct choices. There was no pressure, and he didn't go for the highest priced one he gave me choices that might better suit me. I have physical and pain issues, and facing another surgery soon, Terry was the first salesperson-I had gone to 4 others- that asked if I thought about an adjustable bed. I said yes, I had for a long time but it was out of my price range, he advised me they were having a clearance and some were 50% off. Honestly, the best mattress purchasing experience I've ever had. Steve was AWESOME! He is so patient and helpful. He listened to what I wanted and showed me multiple options. I was so unsure about making the right choice and actually tested some mattresses twice, in the same day. There was no pressure and he didn't try to get me to upgrade or buy other products (frame, pillows, sheets etc). Hopefully I won't need another mattress any time soon, but I would definitely go back. I was pleasantly surprised by how painless and smooth the whole experience of buying a mattress from here was. Doug was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. The mattress we liked wasn't in stock, but he arranged for us to have a temporary mattress until the one we purchased arrived. I'm going to tell you about my experience and let you decide for yourself. My boyfriend and I needed a new mattress. We first went to Mattress Firm, had a great experience, found a mattress we both loved, but decided to do our due diligence by shopping around. When we arrived at Mattress Warehouse, Larry greeted us, and was very friendly and eager to sell us a mattress. We told him about the mattress we liked at the other store, and he informed us that they didn't sell that particular line there, but that he could find something that was just as good, if not better, and for less. Longer story short, we found a mattress that we bought thought was decent, though different from the one we originally liked, and Larry was able to talk us into purchasing the lifestyle base (adjustable base) which means we ended up buying two twin xl mattresses. He also up sold us on a couple of mattress protectors. It wasn't cheap. Almost $800 per mattress on top of the cost of two adjustable bases. But we knew it was going to be an investment in our health, so we did it. We were told that if we didn't like the mattress we would be able to swap it out for a different one at no cost to us, which sounded pretty great. Turns out, we didn't love the mattresses. When they arrived, they had a very powerful smell, which required us to open the bedroom window in an attempt to ventilate. I called Larry and he told me that it wasn't the mattress, just the plastic bag they came in... We slept on the mattress for a couple months and realized that it was just too soft for us. We called Larry and told him that it wasn't working out for us and he told us to come back in, which we did, at which point he convinced us that the problem wasn't the mattress, but that we were sleeping on inferior pillows. He told us that before we go and switch out an entire mattress, we should try getting new pillows first. These pillows, by the way, were about $100 each, and we bought 2 of them. We don't use either of the pillows currently. They now live in the closet because neither one of us was able to sleep with them. And when we told Larry a few days later, he informed us that regulations prevented him from taking them back now that they were used. So back at square one, and still not getting a good night's sleep, we once again ask Larry to switch out our mattress. We go back in, he has us lay on more mattress, he tries to convince us that the problem isn't the mattress, but that we need to start sleeping in a modified position using the adjustable base. I tell him repeatedly that I am a stomach sleeper and it makes no sense to use the base, he tells me some static about training yourself to sleep on your back, I tell him again about the first mattress I had found at the other store, and want to know if he can look into finding something comparable, but eventually he once again convinces us to spend even more money by "upgrading" to a different mattress. The price difference? About $600, on top of what we originally paid, plus the cost of the pillows we can't use or return. Cut to the chase, these second more expensive mattresses are worse by far. With the first set, I was at least sleeping, albeit waking up a little sore. Now, I don't even sleep. When I informed Larry he basically said we had already used our one free swap and we were now stuck with mattresses that I literally can't sleep on. He then informed me (after literally weeks of me trying to get him to call me back) that they would exchange the mattress for another one IF we paid 25% of the cost of our current ones, which, if you are doing the math adds up to about $500, which means, that even if we tried to go back to the original less expensive mattress, we would STILL end up owing them money. So what are we left with? Over $3,000 in debt, a mattress I can't sleep on, 2 pillows we don't use, and a company that couldn't care less. Would I buy from them again? Never in a million years. read more

Don't bother even shopping here. The service is terrible, and they will not do what they say. They tell you whatever they think you want to hear to be able to close the sale. If you call them they will tell you they have what you want in stock, but when you get in the store they will just try to convince you that what they have on hand is what you need, regardless of what is actually good for you. They say they will price match competitors, but then when you get to the store they change their mind. The sales people are just memorizing and telling you stuff from the factory brochures, and they don't know what they are talking about themselves. Service is terrible, so don't even bother, because the prices are better other places. read more
