Not hugely high but certainly not bargain pricing either unless you are looking at seasonal stuff that is over with. That's always a decent deal. The main reason for my lower score was that the number of times we've been in and found a line with at least 3 people waiting and each person taking a minimum of ten minutes, some longer, to get through the cashier makes it actually painful to come here. They always seem to keep the place understaffed. Trying to find someone is tough and I don't think I've seen more than one yET at the register no matter how long the lines are. They are quick to apologize for the wait. The computers are often adding to the problem being slower than molasses to ring you up. The staff are always pleasant but the experience is consistently one that has me saying I wont go back and will try and find a different place to buy my home decor needs.

I've driven past John Paras Furniture a countless number of times over the years and never stopped…read morein. We finally stopped over this weekend and they had a surprising amount of furniture we liked and at prices we could afford. Everything was on sale this week for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and John Paras provides free delivery and setup too. The included delivery and setup is a great bonus and very much appreciated. During our visit a salesperson named Nick helped us out. Nick was great to work with because he was actually helpful and not pushy. We ended up buying a kitchen table and chairs for our new home and a nice end table too. There were some sofas we also liked, but we'll have to come back another time to buy those. Overall I was really happy with my experience shopping at John Paras and would definitely recommend taking a look if you're furniture shopping.

Well if I could say one thing up front about Vintage Oak Furniture is their furniture is fantastic…read more And it's not just oak. There's the custom made chairs and tables--many handmade--crafted with solid oak, cherry, and maple. They have a great selection from the renowned Amish-Crafted Furniture. Vintage Oak Furniture, who has been in Sandy since 1977, also brings a Utah focus. Many of their products were made in Utah by quality producers. Their leather also brings the local flair, most made and/or crafted in the state. It's also high quality: 100% leather, top grain, eight-way, hand-tied, with coil spring construction. They don't even skimp on the mattresses: Many of their beds are Talalay latex or memory foam. The technical stuff isn't as important as the fact that when I sit down on their couches and recliners or lay on their beds it's REALLY, REALLY COMFORTABLE. When I sit in one of their chairs, I don't hear the usual rickety creeks or the side-to-side wobble. When I touch the wood on the chairs and tables, its smooth and dense and, of course, looks beautiful. Don't forget two things when you go. One, there's a whole bunch of stuff downstairs, so don't forget to check it out. Two, down and to the right is a tucked-away room (more like a narrow passageway) with their clearance stuff. However, their stuff is EXPENSIVE. Even their clearance stuff will give you sticker shock. Their lifetime guarantee, and their 40+ years of quality products, cushions the blow. You just have to really, really, really, really want whatever you buy. Essentially, if you need something for the home, they've got it. Along with the chairs, tables, beds, love seats, couches, recliners are desks, bookcases, cedar chests, China cabinets, mirrors, curios, benches, rockers, and about a hundred more home furnishings that I can't think of! So, essentially, I'd say Vintage Oak Furniture is a lot more than just A-OAK-ay. I'd go as far as to call their stuff amazing.
