When your car suddenly starts shaking and it smells like something is burning, you don't want to take any chances. It was a weekend and late in the evening but I was able to have the tow truck drop my car in the rear of the shop and I used the key drop off box and the provided slip to explain what the concern was. Within 24 hours, I got a call back explaining the issue along with a quote. The diagnosis was one ignition coil went bad and two other coils had bad connectors. It turns out, another shop I previously went to botched a coil connector repair in the past which made the problem worse. I also ended up getting an oil change since I was due for one anyway. The cost was $450. This seemed reasonable based on the amount of work that needed to be done. The car was ready the next business day after I initially dropped it off and has been running smoothly ever since!

**Yelp Review for Atlantic Auto**…read more I recently took my car to Atlantic Automotive in Perryville MD for a brake pad service, and I can't praise them enough for their honesty and integrity. After dropping off my car, I received a call about an hour later informing me that my brake pads were actually only halfway through their life cycle and did not need to be changed at this time. It's refreshing to find a place that prioritizes honesty over making a quick buck. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation and suggested unnecessary work, but instead, they chose to be transparent with me. I really appreciate their straightforwardness and commitment to customer service. If you're looking for a trustworthy auto service, I highly recommend Atlantic Automotive!!!!
