I called first to make an address change today and was told I had to go to a branch office to make the change. Luckily, I was jetting northbound on 35 from Kyle to Buda and found the new building without even asking! The address change was smooth even with little Rooster in my arms. For those conspiracy inspired I needed the change even when I didn't lift a couch or TV. I love ATFCU; welcome to my world aka Hays County!

I was a loyal customer doing banking with them for 9 years +…read more They decided to all of the sudden disregard the agreements we had set in place for my checking account, and savings account. No one can charge my accounts if the funds are not there ! First I was overdrafted 190 and I was able to get them to make it right I had to pay the additional 40 or so remaining (which I did immediately take care of). Then after that didn't have any issues for a whole MONTH. It went way far downhill in the worst way, and they ended up closing BOTH checking accounts. All because some website (I did not authorize) was able to overdraft 70 or so dollars from ONE of the checking accounts!!!!!!??!?!!?!?!? So I went from one checking account being negative 70, to all three accounts including savings being the SAME amount as the single account overdrafted 70 dollars. Then was not notified by phone or anything just mail that came AFTER MY accounts were closed that they were going to close my accounts. long story short I was only left with my savings account and no checkings account so no debit card usage as of now, and im still negative that same 70 dollars that I will not be paying for obvious reasons.

Chris was super patient with the multiple requests we had, took care of everything and even did a little educational session for our kids on checking and savings accounts, over drafts and how to balance an account (at our request). He gave them each his card and said he'd be happy to answer any questions in the future. How many people can say that they "love" their bank? I can!

Was very disappointed in my interaction with them and their idea of customer service. I am a…read moremember and have an account. We wanted to get an item notarized with my signature and my son's. We were seated and told by the receptionist it would be about 5 minutes. We waited over an hour with the receptionist, who was very polite by the way, telling us that the notary was manning the drive through. Several times she checked on us telling us staying it would just be a few more minutes. After waiting close to an hour the notary came to is and ushered us into an office. She looked at the paperwork and asked if we were members. I said yes I was. She then asked if my son was a credit union member and I told her no but I am and you are notarizing both our signatures. She refused to notarize our signatures and was very rude and put out as how dare we waste her time. I will be switching banks soon after this interaction. I can not recommend this credit union and advise caution if you choose them. So I called the phone number listed below and it is just a main customer service phone number, not an individual supervisor. I waited on hold for several minutes after spending several minutes listening to the options and finally gave up with being able to talk to anyone.
