Terrible service. Terrible bank. I got a call saying my card had fraud, I told the lady don't mark it as fraud, she did it anyway her name was Shermaya, so then I had to get a new card, couldn't pay my bills on time bc of that lady. So here I am 2 weeks later and my card hasn't came in the mail, so then I call again 5/12, and the lady states there gonna have to cancel my card and ship a new one, after I already finally moved all my bill payments to the new digital card. Ridiculous. All of this because that shermaya lady. I want her fired, and that phone call neeeds to be reviewed bc I told her NO don't do that & also asked her multiple questions & she didn't have answers to them. After so many problems with rbfc, I'm actually going to withdraw my whole account and go somewhere else. And all rbfc users should too. This bank is terrible . Was very disappointed in my interaction with them and their idea of customer service. I am a member and have an account. We wanted to get an item notarized with my signature and my son's. We were seated and told by the receptionist it would be about 5 minutes. We waited over an hour with the receptionist, who was very polite by the way, telling us that the notary was manning the drive through. Several times she checked on us telling us staying it would just be a few more minutes. After waiting close to an hour the notary came to is and ushered us into an office. She looked at the paperwork and asked if we were members. I said yes I was. She then asked if my son was a credit union member and I told her no but I am and you are notarizing both our signatures. She refused to notarize our signatures and was very rude and put out as how dare we waste her time. I will be switching banks soon after this interaction. I can not recommend this credit union and advise caution if you choose them. So I called the phone number listed below and it is just a main customer service phone number, not an individual supervisor. I waited on hold for several minutes after spending several minutes listening to the options and finally gave up with being able to talk to anyone. read more

Absolute clown show. Came in and was printed a list of documents to provide and when returning and providing them documents from the list they gave me they said they didn't accept them. I came back with and showed them the list they printed for me and was now informed that they actually did take them (crazy fast huh?) but they had to be printed out. Directly contradicting what the previous worker who was in the room just told me, and both contradicting the statements from the previous visit as I was told they take electronic documents as well (as also says on the list they gave to me). manager called to apologize and I told them I didn't want to bank there anymore. If it's this unorganized just getting an account, I can't imagine actually giving them any money. read more

They steal money from you. Do not do business with RBFCU. They used to be a good bank and now they literally told me they don't care.

I just left this bank after making a deposit, & the bank teller "Alexis" that was at the window had absolutely no costumer service at all. Not sure if she was having a bad day or she just has no customer service at all. Was the first time feeling like I was a bother to the bank here. I would recommend waiting in line for the next teller to be available. read more

The Customer Service with RBFCU has gone down dramatically over the past 8-9 years that I've been with them. Any time that I have a banking issue with them, I get nothing but short rude replies and no resolutions. They have come up with so many rules and regulations of how you can access your money, it's almost like they don't want you to have any control over your own money at all. After my most recent customer service experience with RBFCU, I am done. I am going with another bank. RBFCU seems to only be good at two things anymore, car loans and low interest CC's. And honestly, I've watched those get worse over the years, too. The customer is no longer a priority at RBFCU. It's really ashamed they are trying to take the big bank approach with their growing number of LOCAL customers. Adiós RBFCU! read more

This bank use to be great. Now it has gone to hell and hand basket. Tellers are rude. Fire them all and start over. Not sure what is going on. Service is going down hill but the fees are making new highs. Transaction fees and over draft fees too much. Tellers don't care for customers. They don't care they will find another job. So i am sure upper management in San Antonio is looking at the reviews and thinking how do we improve things in Buda Location. Not just this reviews but others as well on Google and Yelp. So I hell bent on getting things changed at this location. 1st Needs a management change at the Buda Location. 2nd Hire new tellers. Old ones have gotten too comfortable. 3rd Figure out way to satisfy customers. Remember Customer is right if not try to be reasonable. I have banked with them about 5 years. Had two loans and just refinanced my car, (bad Idea) I paid on time, for my loans, Lost job, right after I refinanced my car. Asked for and extension, on both the loan and the car. Mind you EVERY single other bank and credit card I own, gave me some time to catch up, because I pay on time. NOT RBFCU. They want MORE money, to Grant me more time? WHO DOES THAT? If I am begging for help, specially after paying on time for 3 years, there is a legit reason. But NOPE, still, pay money and MAYBE we will grant you and extension, as they are only allowed ONE per year. CRAP. Then They wont help me with the Car, because the LOAN is too new. Sorry I cannot schedule when I lose my job. STAY AWAY from this bank, they do not care to help you, and they do not care about their customers. SCAM read more

During the most recent online conversion my account erroneously stated that I was overdrawn on my checking account by $698. I called the customer service center and was told that due to the ongoing conversion there was nothing they could do. I asked what would happen of I had been stuck out of town unable to access my money and all they could respond with is "I don't know, I'm sorry". Tomorrow I will be closing my account and finding a more customer oriented credit union. read more

Great bank and never decided to switch however I really don't like when they switched over the cashiers checks from the first one free with each additional costing .50$ . Now every single one is 1.00$. Not happy at all. I guess it's all about the money than the customer. read more

When something goes wrong they tell you it's not their fault/not their problem. Sorry can't help. So they charged me 224 dollars for 9 $1 dollar transactions that where made while I was in hospital. So since they made 200 dollars off me for 9 dollars and got their money then it's not their problem it's mine for going into emergency surgery and kids waiting for me to get out were thirsty and hungry and used my card in vending machine. Bank has no customer service, loyalty or compassion. read more
