poor management. in all honesty it was great vibes, wasn't too many many people but I lost my card and searched everywhere. Even asked the bartenders and mangers, who looked at the cameras but only got my most recent transaction after having two separate ones instead of a tab open. They looked at my most recent on and I acknowledged and informed them that, the transaction was on a different card and was wondering if they could look again. Instead of helping out, shay or however you pronounce it, decided it was better to kick me out instead of looking at the cameras again. I'f you're over a certain age in Miami and were connoisseur of Miami bass with a smattering of house, you like me probably spent some nights at Baja Beach Club in Cocowalk. The emphasis was on strong drinks and booming beats, not always bottle service and VIP. For me this weekend, this was just a rum and coke. Dancing, and not just taking pics. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. The lady at the clerk told the bouncers to not let me in because of the ID handed her my id. The guy at the front told me to go fuck myself, they wouldnt give me definite answers and only told me to wait. I waited for 4 hours while my friends waited inside, the assistant bouncers attempted to push me off the premisis and at one moment they pushed me to the ground, and kept yelling at me to get out-not helping me up. keep in mind I was 100% sober, ridiculus how the employees sold alcohol to minors (and weed to minors). Biggest complaint : whole club is one giant hotbox of cigarette smoke. No matter where you are in the club, bathroom, lounge, pool tables, you just can't get away from the smoke. Made it very hard to breathe. The staff was also rude. That's to be expected though... however the manager (some bald middle eastern looking man) at the front collecting covers of 10$-15$ was very unfriendly and made me and my party feel uncomfortable. I found this place worthy of my first yelp review. The place had a spacious dance floor and great base (despite playing musIc from 5-10 years ago). However, my main complaint was the bar service. The bartender ignored my request after I tried to order drinks since my girlfriend was 20. I understand if they have their suspicions of customers sharing drinks with people who are underage but they refused to serve me a singular drink for myself after the matter. If they're worried about underage drinking they should have security monitoring the public areas rather than resorting to rude service. I would just like to say I used to love this place most the people who work there are so nice and understanding there the bartenders in the front corner and so nice and respectful but I went to the guy in the back because they were very packed. He had asked for a " jolly rancher" drink and he had gotten it there was no ice and it was half way full. He had tasted it and it was straight blue juice no alcohol. So we went to the guy who we normally go to and he had tasted it and said the same thing but there is nothing he can do because we didn't go to him. So we had gone back to the first guy who messed the drink up. He denied he made a mistake and wouldn't even taste it then proceeded to snatch the half filled drink out of his hand throw it away and say "FU". My boyfriends reaction was "FU" and walked away. The guy decided to than run after him, grab him by the neck and drag him out the back. We were civil about the whole situation and decided to talk to a bodyguard and he said the same thing but there's nothing we can do besides call and reach out. So that's what we are doing. How many other people have this guy ripped off and started something. He was looking for a fight, he felt like a big man knocking girls brown just to throw him out instead of talking to us like humans. If you're looking to turn up while in Daytona this might be your only option other than gentlemen's clubs which in this town are a complete scam and the talent is less than mediocre. The downsides to Razzles are the juveniles who haven't learned to handle themselves adequately in a public social setting i.e. the dance floor, lots of bumping and shoving no real dancing skills here nobody seems to be on the good stuff just alcohol there is a huge lack of empathy and the DJ's are absolutely garbage.. hot garbage with the inability to make smooth cuts or transitions they will go from one song at a certain tempo to something half tempo right after lack of ability. The bouncers were attentive but outnumbered. - light effects (smoke + strobes) and visual displays - lots of bartenders - DJ seems to read the crowd and play what people like. - lots of places to sit or chill. Cons: - not enough bouncers for the clientèle. - too smokey. - too many creepy guys copping a feel and grabbing women (see below). - "VIP" area wasn't well appointed. - dance floor is set up like a meat market. Lame weirdos and chicken hawks oogle girls dancing and then dry hump women who aren't inviting them. My suggestions: - hire more bouncers. - add mirrors on walls so girls can see behind them and guard themselves against pickpockets and creeps. - calibrate the sound system properly or upgrade entirely. It was crackly and sounded ancient. (upgrade to Phazon?) Don't believe the hype! The actual building is 9000sq ft, of which 1/3rd to 1/2 is taken up by bars, a pool hall, and an empty "VIP" area. The dance floor is small for a place of this size.. its really only ~600 sq ft (size of a studio apt in NYC). There aren't 11 bars either. There were really 4 bars, one of which was closed on a Saturday night. I'll check it out again and re-up my review if there are any positive changes to report. read more

I was an underage girl that got in over for free because they needed more people in the club. They completely did not care about anybody's safety.
