My grand daughters had their hair cuts done by Stephanie who went extra mile of making them feel special. She talked to them about what they wanted. When I entered the salon I was greeted by 2 receptionists looking at me and laughing. I came for a manicure and pedicure. The young woman did a good job and was very pleasant. I returned to the waiting room to let my nails dry. I later went back to the receptionist to pay for my service and the young, tall, overweight blonde couldn't even pick up her head because she was laughing so hard at me. I am not sure what she found so funny and have never been treated like this in my life. She should be fired because she is not representing your salon as a professional. Maybe she could find a job taking orders for McDonalds wear she doesn't need to see their patrons. read more

1st I had an appt for 12:30 pm,I sat in the waiting area until 12:45 while the hair cut women played on her phone. she calls me over and asked me do you want your hair washed, well for $35.00 I would think that was automatic to get washed, not for them them to ask the customer. She spritzer my hair a tiny bit and starts cutting ( yes I should have told her to wash my hair, but they are supposed to be the professional!) not me!!! I feel that if you're not one of their once a week regulars they don't care about you. I would never go back or recommend it. I just moved to the area, I was recommended this salon, I called and inquired about highlight pricing was quoted one price, paid a higher amount without being told. Left with uneven highlights and the toner was not evenly applied part of my old highlight colors were still seen. I called the next day and I had them fixed by someone else who had seen my issues. I left satisfied the 2nd time with a more natural looking highlight opposed to a vibrant "fake" look. She did call my color highlights look "Ronald McDonald" looking. So imagine what it looked like before she fixed them! I felt bad because I had tipped the first stylist $25 and feel the other girl deserved it more! read more

I have been going to this salon since I was 15 (I'm now 27), and I can't say enough good things about it. The staff is always friendly and personable, and I also leave here looking my absolute best. Diana P has been doing my hair for over 10 years, and I swear I can create a lookbook for the number of color changes, hair cuts, and styling changes she has created for me. It has been almost a week since I have been to your salon for color and a trim. I thought by now my hair would calm down since I was able to wash and style like I normally do; however, this has been one of the worst colors and haircuts I have ever received. My hair cut is choppy and you can see every blunt layer- there was no blending or styling. There was nothing technical or professional about my color and cut. I am so embarrassed of my hair that I have not taken it out of a ponytail! On top of everything, I was made to feel like I was doing the Salon the favor by being there. The hair dressers were more concerned about finishing the conversation on their cell phones and with each other. I was left to sit and wait while they had to "find" the hair dresser. I could not help but to feel like I was a bother to them. The receptionist could not even be bothered to say thank you when she handed me the receipt. What is the harm in being nice and having some manners?? Especially to paying customers! Your rude and unapproachable staff is absolutely ridiculous! This was one of the worst experiences I have had a hair salon. I cannot get over the fact that I left there feeling worse than I came in! I will not be coming back to your salon and in fact I will be going to another salon to have a true stylist correct my hair. I am sure that salon will be more than appreciative to have my business. read more

FIve plus stars if you get Gina as your colorist. I have been searching for a good salon in the shore area for awhile and have finally hit paydirt. Honestly, if you are going to get colored/highlighted you need to ask for Gina. She is the best hairdresser I have ever had and trust me, as a girl who has been tweaking and changing her hair since she was 14, that's a testimony. Salon is large, open and busy with comfy private dryer/color set area and prices are fantastic. Only 155 for a full head foil, root tone, deep condition treatment, and cut. I moved to Tom's River area about 2 1/2 Yes ago and I've been to at least 3 other hair salons since and came out very disappointed. One in particular, left me with dye all over my face and neck which I didn't find out till I got home. I called them but they had closed early. Needless to say, I never went back! A Dr's receptionist recommended Nikki at Razberri's....so, I made an appt....and hoped for the best! We'll, I was very thrilled and so was my husband with my new hair cut and style! Nikki, you did a fantastic job. You made me feel very comfortable at the salon and paid attention to all requests thru my pictures from my cell phone. Even your ideas were great! I called twice to make an appointment and it went straight to voice mail. I went anyway with a friend to get a manicure and pedicure. Despite a sign saying "pop ins welcome" I was told they had absolutely nothing available for the rest of the day. I understand that walk ins are taken first come first serve, but they should at least answer the phone to save people a trip. Had I known they were booked up before leaving my house I might have made an appointment for another day, however I salvaged the trip by going down the street were I was fit right in. read more

I have been to this salon several times. My stylist was Gina P. The first two times were ok. Nothing special. The last time was horrible! The haircut was mediocre and the color was the worst I ever had. She actually had me walk out of the salon with gray streaks in my blond hair! I was mortified when I got home. The owner fixed it and I was grateful however I don't understand how this stylist continues to work. I have read another bad review on here about her. I don't think this is fair to the other stylists that work here but I will never recommend this salon to anyone. The best salons I have been to down here are Thomas Salon which closed because he retired and Belezza which also closed. Nothing good left. read more

I am so sad to have to write this review. I am only writing so that others have another "view" of what the experience is like at Razberri (I had gone there with the glowing reviews on here). Here is goes... I gave the salon a call and was able to make an appointment *rather* quickly. I was delighted. I made an appointment with Renee for haircut and eyebrow wax (based on review on here). I arrived a few minutes early and no one was there to greet me. When the receptionist came back with a drink for another customer, I though "oh! how nice!" She then asked me who was there for and then hollered around the corner to let Renee know I was there. Fast forward 30 minutes later, I am still sitting waiting in the reception area (20 minutes after my appointment), empty handed (no one offered me anything to drink). In fact, I had to endure lots of offensive chatter by women who work there. One woman was recounting her trip to Vegas and was quite vulgar/disrespectful. She made herself sound like a horrible person and she was proud of it. Not the kind of thing you want to hear about. Just as I decided to take a phone call to entertain myself, Renee appeared. I hung up immediately (I am far more respectful than they were, clearly). As if my wait time/experience wasn't bad enough, Renee informed me that she was STILL running late so she was going to have someone else do my eyebrows. Really? I made an appointment and you are going to pass me off? Not even ask me if it's ok? Not very cool. I was a little bummed but figured I was new and wasn't attached to Renee yet so let's give 'er a go. (On a side note, Renee totally threw her previous client under the bus, suggesting (and being annoyed about it) that her client was the reason she was running late. That her client didn't book enough time. Wow! I never realized it was a client's responsibility to manage a stylist's schedule, did you? Nor was it comfy to hear her saying that stuff.) Oh yes - Renee did give me a 2 second (no joke) consultation en route from the waiting area to the woman who cut my hair (it wasn't a long commute). I should have left at that moment. I didn't get the name of the woman who waxed my eyebrows. She was very sweet and then washed my hair, per Renee's instruction. I got another dose of awesomeness when I was in the back of the salon. Another woman who works there (loud and obnoxious) was having her hair rinsed after being colored. She was loud and complaining, particularly about how uncomfortable the chairs were there. In fact, she moved to a "more" comfortable chair and left an awful one for yours truly. Yup - you read that right - a PAYING customer was put below a staff member. Finally, I was delivered to Renee. About 20 minutes later (a super quick cut and super quick blowout), I was out of there. Let me tell you what was HORRIBLE about my experience - it was the sheer lack of customer service and professionalism. Really - one of the worst I have experienced yet. What was BAD - my eyebrows were uneven. One is shorter than the other and one is wider (taller) than the other. Ergo, no symmetry. Could it have been worse? Sure. But it could have been much, much better. What was OK about my experience - the cut was OK. It is not GOOD but not horrible, meaning there is no damage. What was good? The cost was reasonable but I guess you get what you pay for? I'd pay double (or more) if I were treated better and got better quality service. For sure! I'd suggest you keep looking if you need a new salon. I will! read more

I went for a pedicure, what a joke Do not go there for a pedicure they make you sit on a bench with a cushion and some pillows that smell!! Their is no support for you back it was not relaxing at all it was horrible, but you stick your feet into a kitchen sink the most ghetto set up I have ever seen! She basically filed my nails rubbed some lotion and painted my nails NO scrubbing of the feet nothing. Big wast of money I am making an appointment to get a pedicure some where with big comfy seats and that actually does a pedicure! Best hair salon in Toms River. I've been to many and the staff at Razberris friendly, accommodating and does a great job. The prices are very good here compared to several other salons I've been to on Fischer boulevard.
