About Face has the privilege over many of the salons due to the length of time they have been around for. I can remember them being here for the last 10 years at least, and nearly everyone (female!) I know has had at least one treatment with them. They offer a wide range of treatments such as facials, makeup lessons, manicure, pedicure, overlays, extensions, weight loss treatments, kids parties, bridal makeup and makeup lessons, gift vouchers, spray tanning, the list goes on! A nice touch also, is that they remember all of their clients at Christmas time by sending out a card. I like About Face a lot, and it would still be the salon I would consider first, out of the many salons now open in town.

In Blossom Clinic even after the 1st time the results were amazing. At least half of the hair has fallen out, and the rest got much thiner than before. I had 3 sessions now, and I only need to shave the area once a week - it was a daily program before. The girls are all lovely and very knowledgeable, all of them are nurses, you are in the beat hands in there. They are doing other treatments as well, fillers, botox, tattoo removal..etc. The prices are also affordable and has offered me to pay in installments. Probably the best way to describe it is rough and ready, but it is clean and they do brilliant waxing. The girls are all friendly and complete chatterboxes, and if you are at all shy about your bikini business you can forget about that here. The highlight has to be the owner Jackie, so popular you have to struggle to get an appointment with her. The blurb on acne/rosecea on their website is entirely misleading. There was literally no mention in this consultation of the products I currently use, supplements I take and treatments that I had tried before. This consultation is basically a hard sell on the very expensive products offered at the clinic, and the n-lite laser treatment (which was demonstrated with *unsterilised* goggles). I am unwilling to try the products due to not being allowed to use any other moisturisers or makeup for approx 3 months - I am a 25 year old woman with a public facing job; it would be unfeasible for me to go to work with peeling/red acneic skin. I would not recommend this place if you have experience of acne treatment, are serious about what you need and unwilling to be treated like a teenager.

I felt special from the moment I walked in and didn't mind stripping down to my nags in front of strangers as the girls are lovely, really chatty and interested in the customers needs. I was very pleased with the eyebrow wax and felt they had really got all the stray little brutes that other places miss sometimes. And my tint was a very deep black just as I wanted - I left feeling on top of the world and looking forward to my next visit.

The difference they make is absolutely unreal! They also offer threading, and hold botox and restylane clinics at set times. Oh, and they have a power plate!
