The spa is really beautiful and they have six treatment rooms offering a whole range of great treatments. At Omeya you can treat yourself to manicures, pedicures, waxing, massage, facials and loads more and they are an official Dermalogica spa. I got the express facial at just £25 for 30 mins and it was really great! I loved every minute of it and it's great for people on the go!

My friend had phoned in advance and they had arranged a bespoke pampering package for the three of us. Every effort was made to ensure we had the most relaxing afternoon. We were encouraged to slip into robes and soak up the tranquil surroundings. All three of us were pampered in the same room, with massages and manicures. After the massages we were coated in amazing smelling creams and had hot mitts and shoulder warmers applied. They then left us to relax together and enjoy the heat! As an extra they offered to treat us all to semi-permanent eyebrow makeup on the way out. Cannot think of one negative comment. Perfect for the a peaceful, relaxing afternoon.

I had the pleasure of being taken for lunch to the Courtyard today. This was my first visit to this…read moreeating establishment since the place has been renovated.I was very impressed with the interior .It is bright and welcoming with a beautiful open fire which on a cold day like today is most welcoming. The tables are placed to enable adequate space between them . It was quite busy which is always a good sign and there was a steady flow of clients . The menu is very varied ranging from breakfast ,lunch and afternoon tea. I had prawn and avocado salad which was delicious and the portion was a good size. The staff are very efficient and regularly ask if all is well with your meal. There is a great selection of tray bakes to have with that welcome beverage. Prices are very competitive and reasonable for what you get. All in all I found it a very pleasant and relaxing experience as there was no feeling of being rushed and it was refreshing to watch customers engaging in conversation instead of being buried in phone , tablet or laptop!

Homemade scones, soup, salad and sandwiches are well made. You can still have the likes of your frys, pancakes etc. The coffee and hot drinks are very good quality aswell. The only disappointment for me is that since it has expanded service isn't as personal and can be somewhat slower. But I give it a 4 due to the quality of the food!! Somewhere not to be missed though if your stopping in sunny Bangor.

On my second visit my now platinum blonde hair was dyed an inch away from the root and I fixed it myself with hair lightening bleach. On my third and final visit after my hair had broken off all around my hairline, the stylist blamed everything but her work for the damage. When she finished I actually said ' I hate it' while still sitting in the chair in earshot of all the other clients in the salon. When she tried to start to fix it the lady boss told her no and if she did anymore to it I would be charged more. The salon is filthy and on all occasions I have had to clean my shoes when I got home. I have a bald spot on one side of my head and have lost more than 4 inches of my hair in an effort to salvage what's left of it. I have since sourced another salon with whom I have booked an appointment to fix my in their words 'severly overprocessed hair' after lockdown. This has been my worst hair experience ever but at least it can't look any worse! I urge anyone to think very carefully before you book here!

I went here for a long time, in its old salon on high street then to the interim location on Prospect Road and then back to its newest, refurbished salon in High Street. The service is always top notch. You will get an excellent hair cut and the staff are friendly, efficent and helpful. The only problem is that it has just got too expensive. Its now £20 for a male cut and its even more for a female cut and colour. Which is a real pity because they have massage chairs and the salon is a lovely place to get a hair cut. I would definitely recommend Jacqui Bothwell hair for a great hair cut at a fairer price.

This is a super prestige salon, ideally located in High Street in Bangor, and you can be certain, from the moment you step through the doors, you will feel a million dollars. The inside is red brick, with a slightly industrial feel to it, but without the cluttered feel that so many salons have, this is the cream of the crop, and something that is very rare to see in Northern Irish salons. They give you a full consultation, and the stylists actually LISTEN to what you want, so you know that your hair style will be what you envisage, and that you are not just an experiment to the stylists creativity - so no walking out with something you didn't ask for, just because the stylist wanted to do it. Kevin Kahan's also have a beauty room, offering a full range of treatments, so it really is a one stop shop for all things pamper related! The downside, as was mentioned in a previous review, is the price. So it's definitely a hammer to the piggy bank treat, but oh how you will love it!
