Which I did politely hand him and asked what they would be needing and doing with that information, which this triggered his apparent insecurity in his own knowledge and became completely defensive. It is normal to ask what people are doing with your information but to this man it was an insulting question and the rest of our next 10 mins in the lobby was met with suspicious demeanor. When my husband called to make our appointment he was told we could find our chosen doctor after our scan and that would be fine. Apparently this is not true and you can pick between two UNKNOWN "doctors" in two other states. He was so impatient to answer our questions of "what drs?" "This wasn't explained to us before our arrival we have no clue who the names are where they are if they are credible... you have never once offered to show us or tell us Names even." He then said, and I quote verbatim "You just have to pick do you want a chiropractor or an MD, ITS NOT THAT HARD." (with a wide eyed straight stare) We felt so uncomfortable we wanted our information back ( the copy of my ID and the sheet my husband had started to fill out) to which he told us I had no right to get back. (WRONG! I have every right to have my information back) His demeanor had signs of being a trustworthy or transparent person to whom you should let even see your private information. His dodgy untamed temperament was so alarming I felt unsafe to receive any kind of care from this company. because I stood up for myself he treated me as if I was doing something wrong asking questions (very reasonable common questions) about the treatment and care of my i formation. Basically they should be reviewed by their certification board. It became very apparent that telling us what was really happening with our information and the bait and switch tactics, along with the inability for transparency show reasonable signs to be checked.

I…read moreexperienced a second miscarriage while at AWH and Allie Rodriguez, PA, was wonderful, caring, and provided good patient education. I saw Allie again for an annual check up and during my next pregnancy, and she is my favorite part about this clinic and I would recommend her services and care - I wish she could have been my OB. Other service providers at the clinic have been okay or disappointing. The front desk tends to be awkward. Only Tiffany tends to make eye contact and acknowledge your presence upon arriving - the others will not acknowledge you, so you can't tell if they are so engrossed in their work that they haven't seen you or if they are intentionally ignoring you. If you walk up to them or speak you get the "we'll be with you in a moment" - cool, just say that next time so I'm not wondering. Going to the doctor is a stressful experience for many and this cold welcome doesn't help. I was very anxious during my pregnancy because of my two previous miscarriages. The ultrasound techs were always wonderful and would tell you what they saw and what they were doing. The OBs themselves are kind of all over the place. You can't choose which provider will deliver your baby, so I opted not to see a single provider and instead meet all of them at least once so that I'd have a touch of familiarity on delivery day. I got okay to good impressions of all of the doctors during those visits except for Dr. Goodman who sped through "fat facts" - the things I was likely to experience or be at risk for being overweight and pregnant. While I do expect individualized medical care, what disappointed me was that she started out by apologizing for telling me these things (no one is more aware that I am fat than I am - have been my whole life, don't need an apology for sharing information if you believe it's important for me to have informed care). She then sped through the information, which included induction at 39 weeks, and I was so shocked that I opted to end the appointment rather than ask questions. I was still early in the pregnancy and just hoped to make it past the first trimester. There wasn't much notable about the other docs - they'd answer my questions and were not likely to offer up much info otherwise. The clinic was nice about me coming in between appointments to listen to the heartbeat to lessen my anxiety. The final straw was delivery day when Dr. Pettit swept my membranes without informed consent. I'm not saying I wouldn't have taken her expert medical advice, but you should tell me what you're doing to my body before you do it. After my final postpartum check up, I'm done with AWH.

I did have an injection at one of the regular clinics, it's was horrendous, I felt like screaming, it was my S.I. joint, I was shaking all over, this doctor had no clue. The doctor I see now is a million times better then Doctor Clueless. Now I will only go to a Diagnostic Imaging Center and ask for my same doctor. Well, I've learned my lesson, if the pain becomes intolerable, you, (the patient should stop the procedure). The pain should actually not become intolerable. You need a doctor that specializes in this procedure. I also had an injection in my thumb joint, it was horrible, this again was done by just the orthopedist surgeon, at the clinic, again clueless. The injection didn't help much anyway. These doctors should send their patients to those who special in this procedure, if that's all their looking for is more money from these procedures, then they are not a good doctor. I know of a few other people that have had horrible experiences with these procedures, their orthopedic surgeon did them. One of my daughters had an injection in her Rotator Cuff, she started to cry, her doctor told her some men actually pass out. The American Medical Association needs to take a closer at these procedures, and recommend Diagnostic Imaging Centers.

And, I didn't find them professional & didn't have confidence in them for those reasons. I left without having my 2 scheduled MRIs, due to poor communication from Rayus prior to my appt. & due to a bad feeling I got from both the receptionist and the "technician" (I question if she really is a licensed technician, she was made up like a...well, I won't say it). Suffice it to say...unprofessional! I trust my "gut feelings", they're rarely wrong! If your Dr. wants to send you to Rayus, just say no!

They helped me do just that! I ran into red tape on every direction due to a false positive turners syndrome on blood test screening. I did not want to undergo amniocentesis due to risks and wanted a water birth as I had experienced previously with my first baby. My care was dropped by Health Foundations Birth Center at 34 weeks pregnant but I was able to continue with the amazing staff at the MN Birth Center and have the birth experience I had been hoping for! I'd give them 6 stars if possible!

I…read morealways wanted a more natural birth and didn't know what was possible until I found the MN Birth Center. Every appointment leading up to the birth of my little one was awesome. Each appointment the midwives made sure to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed. My birth and labor were really long due to baby's position and I know if I had been at a hospital I would have ended up with drugs and a c-section which is not at all what I wanted. But the midwives and nurses were there the whole time helping me through it at the birth center and on the phone when I was at home. Even though giving birth in a pandemic is not what I expected. I am so thankful for the MN Birth Center for the opportunity to give birth how as close as how I wanted to during such crazy times.
