The technician kept pushing me into the machine while complaining that I needed to relax my shoulder more. I tried for her but she wasn't happy with my position. She then said that there was a history of my doing this in my chart. Before I could respond she said that I was making too much of this and that most women were OK with this procedure or words to that effect. This is where I began to lose it and I told her that I didn't know any woman who were OK with mammograms. How the hell did she know what I felt during the procedure. People tolerate pain differently. Also if you want a person to relax try not shoving them. The day after the procedure I had a rash underneath my breast from being pushed and having my skin rub against the machine. It took a few days to heal. I'm still dealing with some neck pain from the abusive treatment. So if you think nothing of getting a mammogram this is the place for you. But if you want to be treated respectfully find another place. BTW on a more positive note I found the office staff to be wonderful.

I have had nothing but good experiences here with the staff and nurses. No issues with making appointments, and lab tests have all been handled timely and easily. I'm a tough stick for blood draws and haven't had issues with lab techs not being able to draw blood. I ADORE my OB at this practice, Dr. Margaret Enadeghe. She is the first OB I've had who's taken the time to listen and respond to every single one of my and my partner's questions. Even when I nervously ask the same question multiple times over several visits! We are never rushed, however long she needs to spend with us to make us feel comfortable and informed, she does. She's a lovely person and a new mom herself, and happy to share her experiences tackling motherhood, which I've really appreciated as I'm becoming a first-time mom as well. Also, for folks who have ED/body dysmorphia issues, Dr. Enadeghe is incredibly sympathetic. I have disordered eating and was really worried I'd be tempted to restrict calories because of pregnancy weight gain. Thankfully, Dr. Enadeghe told me there was no need for me to even LOOK at the scale when they weighed me. She said she would inform me if anything was out of the ordinary, and assured me that the number on the scale wasn't a concern. This approach really helped me and made me much less anxious about my body's changes during pregnancy. I also really like the policies put in place by the clinic. I think they try to stay on top of current academic research and are consistently changing their protocols, instead of just sticking with antiquated methods. Quick example: I'm a research junkie and learned there's relatively new data that states it can be beneficial to the newborn to delay cord cutting after birth. This helps with hemoglobin levels and a bunch of other stuff. I asked Dr. Enadeghe about this and she said it was standard policy for the clinic to delay cord cutting.

BEWARE! I was told upfront that the charge for a calcium…read morescan was $175.00 and that my insurance would not pay for this scan. I paid $175 for the service at the time of my appointment in November 2024. A few weeks later Rayus submitted a claim to my insurance company for $531.12, which was denied but paid by my FSA account. I never provided nor authorized Rayus to contact my insurance - why would I - I paid for the service at the time of the appointment. After many, many frustrating phone calls to Rayus the charge to my FSA account was eventually reversed. I still dont know why Rayus charged an additional $531.12. When I questioned this no one at Rayus could tell me what the charge was for. Then in Feb 2025, I received a check from Rayus for $531.12. I have not cashed the check because I am not due this money. I have made many attempts to contact Rayus customer service to try to resolve this and return their check. Then in May 2025 I received a letter from a collection agency stating I owe $531.12. I called the collection agency on 5/18 and 5/29 and explained this mess and also told them I have an uncashed check from Rayus made payable to me for the amount they are stating I owe. The collection company reps were understanding but said they said they cant resolve the matter because no one from Rayus is following up with them. I don't know how a company like Rayus stays in business. They are not ethical. And their customer service is a joke. Beware!

The clinic's inability to manage his care; for example, recently cancelling an appointment at the doctor's request (an appointment he had waited months for) only to offer the next available in OCTOBER. My mother spent :30 minutes on the line with the appointment setter (the number given to her when the appointment was cancelled), and was told no other option was available. A week later, when my dad's new internist raised concerns about the lack of diagnostic detail or care plan in his neurology file, I called to speak with his care team. The nurse I spoke to was lovely and explained we should never call appointments and only call them (something that is very confusing to follow considering the instructions they provide say something different) and also helped get my dad in to see the doctor four days later so his increasing challenges could be addressed. To my total disappointment, my mother returned from the appointment and said Dr Minette was dismissive, told her she should have figured out his current med mix was causing some of his issues by googling it herself, asked her where she had come up with the questions she was asking, seemed to be openly annoyed that I had voiced my concerns about the care he was receiving, and referred my mom to the Alzheimer's Association for any further questions. I work in geriatric care and know how difficult memory care and cognitive decline can be to treat, but nothing is more difficult than watching your loved one disappear and seeing their caregiver show a lack of empathy and curiosity about how they can try to help. My father has been resistant to changing his doctor, but this most recent series of incidents leaves us with little other choice. If you are looking for a provider who can support complicated presentations of Alzheimer's, I urge you to look elsewhere.
