    I came in Today march 15th 2026 The front desk lady is extremely unprofessional and rude she told…read moreme it was "my fault" that I didn't give her the address for where I needed my medication to go I realize that I had a different one on file and apologized after that I stated I needed the medication sent to the location of my verbal request it was done wrong the first time I was feeling terrible as I'm trying to help her correct the mistake I was looking up the address on my phone and my phone took me to a pharmacy that was in the plaza of this facility instead of the one that I needed it to go she realized that and said " I thought you said you need the one on forest hill and jog this is not it with a very cold and rude tone and I was like "oh your right my apologies can you give me a second please to find it in my phone I don't feel well and I'm trying to find it" she was even more disrespectful and impatient with me I was going through a lot physically and was having a hard time concentrating nonetheless I finally gave her the correct address and she said it's done then she cut me the most distasteful look afterwards as if my presence was such an inconvenience to her I went to my pharmacy and drove all the way back to this facility for her to correct the error and that's how I was treated she was so disrespectful that I broke down in tears because I was already trying to explain to her that I felt really bad physically and that my symptoms are getting worse it seemed like my words were going through one ear and out the other as I was speaking to her but after my pleas she finally told the doctor and the doctor spoke with me he was very kind and understanding everyone else at the facility is extremely nice attentive and patient especially the nurse and the doctor but watch out for the front desk lady it's sickening Because people come there to feel better and she makes matters worse by being rude people experiencing sickness don't need that extra pain I literally told her I did not have the energy to go back and forth with her and I even apologized for my behalf because I was the one that had the wrong address on file and then I proceeded to give her the wrong address when I was looking for it on my phone but she didn't need to say things like "it's all your fault" and whatnot how she treated me was uncalled for anyway moral of the story the medical care is amazing it's just that front desk lady

Sam, the ultrasound technician, is truly top-notch -- if you want to feel calm and relaxed during your ultrasound, especially when you're stressed, she's amazingly kind and compassionate. Dina, the mammogram tech, is also very sweet and caring, which made the whole visit even better. Highly recommend this team for anyone needing these services!

    Akumin is a medical imaging facility located in Wellington FL. It is one of many locations that…read morethis company has. This location has ok parking, and isn't hard to get to. They are incredibly disorganized with their staff not talking to each other. The employee that scheduled me looked up my insurance told me that I would have a $0 copay as my insurance was covered. So I made the appointment. Got there and they gave me my paperwork quickly and took my insurance card and license and tells me to sit down. Calls my name again and proceeds to tell me that my copay is $325. I've never had that copay in my life at a place like this, not even one out of network. I told her that there's no way and said the scheduler told me it would be $0. She said that they've been getting a lot of complaints about that from patients....yet they haven't fixed the issue? I told her that I don't even have to pay a copay of $250 a day when I'm Admitted to the hospital so that must be wrong. She said it's part of your deductible which I don't have unless it's an ambulance ride or I have to buy medical equipment. Finally I told them just to bill my insurance or I was walking out. They agreed after speaking with their manager. The scan I had was ok, but the nurse that I originally had stepped out for a lunch break and I got a new one. When I got the new one she didn't know I was there and I had to walk into the room where another person was on a conference call. The nurse then proceeded to do the scan while having a personal phone call with another employee on the phone. As a result I'm a bit worried that her split attention messed up the results/scan somehow. Usually with this scan you lay down for 4+ hours and get a scan every hour, but this facility does it differently. As a result I had to sit in an uncomfortable chair every hour I had to wait instead of lying down relaxing. Their AC was also out in the room I was in which is a health hazard as places like these (hospitals, doctors offices etc.) have to stay very cold to kill bacteria and viruses. TLDR: All in all the experience was terrible. The staff doesn't communicate with each other causing insurance info discrepancies and causing possible unwanted bills all while blaming the patient (I did look up my insurance online before and they did take it). Their medical staff rushes you and doesn't pay attention, all the while making you wait in uncomfortable places. I'm worried about the competency of their staff both medical and front desk. I would stay away from Akumin, but especially this location.
