Every bit of my first impression of RAYUS experience was great, from the phone scheduler who helped me make an appointment that fit around work... to the receptionist who checked me in efficiently and quick... to the facility itself; clean, bright, spacious, and nicely decorated so you're not just sitting and waiting in a sterile space. Second impression was less than perfect, and I figured out why they call this the waiting room. Thank goodness I made my appointment for "first" thing in the morning. Even with an 8am appointment, I was nowhere near first in line, and didn't get called back until 8:15. Not horrible, but definitely not ideal. Heading back in for my X-Ray, I found out that back of the house is every bit as friendly and efficient as the front. Out in literally 5 minutes. read more

The person on the phone who booked this appointment with me was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable: thank you! I did arrive early, and so thankful I did, because just standing at the line to check in took a few minutes, as the two staff people at the front desk seemed to be asking a lot of questions just for check-ins, and even though there is a few feet of distance between the desk and where the waiting line begins, I could hear the employee ask a question about cancer history, which seemed pretty intense and private for an open waiting room. The line behind me quickly grew to the entire length of the rather large waiting room. I filled up my water bottle at the coffee counter. They have a nice water machine, but there were no paper towels or napkins in sight. We didn't wait long, and the folks who performed the x-ray were kind and fun with my kid. Thank you! read more

There was a line out the door to check in. I was given a tablet that took forever to upload. After Waiting :45 for a test I went up to the register and asked how much longer it will be. I was told the wait was an hour longer. I showed the woman at the checking counter that I was wearing a bathing suit underneath my clothing and left my family at the pool I needed to reschedule. Which is whatever. They didn't tell me I needed my prior medical disks. Until three days ago. Okay, cool I get them. They told me to bring them in 15 minutes before my appointment and fax the reports. So I do. Tell me why I still sat there for over an hour ?!?! The absolute worst experience in healthcare. I don't know what's going on behind the scenes at Rayus, but something is clearly broken. The way their schedulers treat people is beyond unprofessional; it reflects either miserable working conditions, no training, or a total disregard for patients. I spent an absurd amount of time on the phone today trying to schedule an MRI. This is time sensitive for me because I'm having major surgery, yet both schedulers I spoke with were rude, dismissive, condescending, and completely uninterested in doing their jobs. I actually had to call back because the first scheduler was so incompetent that I didn't trust the information she gave me. Unfortunately, the second person was just as unpleasant. No patient should be treated this way, especially when dealing with something as serious as medical imaging. This company needs a complete overhaul of its customer service and training. Terrible since buy out. Told to contact my Insurance, so I did. Was told CT was covered. Rayus does not believe me. Wants me to sign a waiver, but can't tell me what the waiver says until I go there. Call took 39 minutes and 46 seconds. No one answers the phone for 10+ minutes. Every 1/2 minute the recording said they are going to an ELECTRONIC records system. The place is nice, seems clean but I hate the way they call you by your first or last name...what about HIPPA? numbers might be a better option. I just sounds rude, like NEXT! Also Records Requests each time I call to request my records I am told ok, no problem, yet when I arrive to pick them up, they are not ready and I am forced to wait for extended periods of time, today I had to wait over 30 minutes (same as last time) for something that was previously requested, and I was assured would be ready when I got there to pick it up. read more

Absolutely abysmal Customer service. besides the fact our Doctor said the films were some of the worst they had seen, you will wait a minimum 15-20 minutes on hold trying to make an appointment. Don't even try calling to have the films sent to your doctor, after 20 minutes your call will be cut off. multiple tries. you will have to go to the location if you want anything done. Once we got through to a scheduler, We spent 30 minutes trying to get all the info passed along for our appointment. Maybe someone else who doesn't do schedules got stuck on the phones. I don't know. When we got there they had less than half the info correct and the other half was missing. Maybe insurance companies accept them because they cost them less. but you may have to go elsewhere to get anything done correctly anyways. read more

Got to say I'm very upset made and appointment over 3 weeks for today may 13th for a malignant neoplasm of prostate my appointment was for 6:10 after waiting 30 minutes I'm called for cat scan so I thought they gave me an mri lower spin I just tested positive for prostate cancer and waited 3 weeks for my appointment never again. Besides they always ask me for a co pay which I don't have, I have united healthcare dual plan which they should know by now, but I always explain Jayden toke great care off me just wish they would upgrade my status so I would not have to keep telling them the same thing. Good experience. No issues with any of the staff, from the representative on the phone when I first booked my appt all the way to the front desk rep, radiologist and nurse who took care of me. Everyone was pretty friendly. I went there late around 8:30 PM so it was quite empty and I was the only one in line. I was provided headphones that play music to block out the noise of the MRI machine. I would recommend going late if that works with your schedule. read more

I want those who get an MRI of the chest to know that it takes about 60 minutes without moving the whole time . The cylinder had 5 inches of clearance which was difficult and many construction type noises for the whole time period. It was the most tortuous test I've ever taken and I've been thru many including quadruple bypass surgery 5 months ago. Beware of this test. Good Luck.. read more

Had an ankle X-Ray. It was ordered STAT by my doctor. Rayus did the XRay. They can't seem to get a radiologist to look at it, much less read it. It's been over 48 hours and I've called them over.a dozen times with different excuses given to me every time. It's unbelievable. It's the worst service on the planet. . read more

I went to Rayus on Gateway for my 6.00 pm appointment. I was taken back to get my scan at 6.40pm. No apology for the wait. Scan was completed at 7.00pm. I was told to go get the disc at the front. I requested the disc at 7.00 pm and was told it would be 20 mins. At 7.30 p.m I requested the disc again and was told they would have to burn another one. I waited another 15 mins and got the disc. The two people behind the desk Naskika and Jayden were incredibly rude. The tablet that you I put the info was so dirty. I don't want to think the last time it was cleaned. The tech who did the scan needs to understand not everyone has perfect hearing and it doesn't help when she has her back turned and is talking. The rayus is Delray is way more professional and the staff at Boynton need to be trained by the staff in Delray. read more

I have a time sensitive injury and was told by my orthopedic that he wants me to use Rayus for the higher quality machines. I've called No less than 10 times today and get the message about a slight delay do to new software. Surprised this company stays in business. Imagine showing up for a CT Scan from a well known Orthopedic Surgeons orders and the tech doesnt know how to do the scan so I am left waiting an hour until they admit they dont know that they are doing. I speak to the head of the site, I explain this is a teaching moment instead of losing my cool. She books me for the following day, the same things happens. Are you serious? Total incompetence. This location has a locked door on the weekends. I buzzed ten times and couldn't get the door to work. After calling the Wellington office and speaking to a not so friendly person she advised me that someone would help me. Completely rude at that office. God forbid I was older and needed help. When I finally got help to get in and said hello thank you. I was ignored. Gotta love customer service. Oh by the way, the lady who helped me was also the front end help. The technician was nice. Don't take your baby for an xray there. They came up with a completely wrong report signed by a MD dr saying my baby had a lesion in his skull, but thank GOD it was wrong as I had to take my baby to the hospital for a full ct scan. This facility is not equipped for XRAYs on babies. read more

Both locations in Boynton Beach, i.e. Gateway and El Clair Ranch are in a race to the bottom and it's a tie. Terrible front office attitudes, terrible appt making skills, terrible customer service, they blame everyone except themselves, and spend most of their time covering each other's mistakes and training each other, no thanks - don't waste your time if you truly want good customer service - everything possible they could do to screw up concerning my appts, they did! They never apologized for their errors, nothing, see ya - I take my health seriously, too bad you don't, no accountability, don't waste your time. Inconsiderate staff, sat 1.5 hours after my appointment with no apology or explanation. Even tech wasn't very friendly. One front counter employee told an upset customer I hope you fall and hurt yourself on his way out and another told me to just leave after questioning if I can get $50 back since they were 1.5 hours late in treating me. I went there for a CT scan with contrast. They messaged me and told me I needed to come in the day before and get barium for the test. got there...they said I did not need it...wasted trip. Got there the next day at 8:30 pm for the test...and they told me it was not at that facility...had to drive another 15 minutes through traffic. Got there....had to wait an hour before they saw me. The people who helped me before the MRI were great. The person who did the MRI scan was rude, negligent, and indifferent. She at first refused to do the test for my kidneys. She rushed everything. She would have sent me in with an underwire bra had I not asked about a gown. She told me that her goal was getting people in and out as fast as possible. I was quite nervous and frightened, and she had zero compassion. It was the single worst experience I have ever had for a medical test. She is in the wrong field. I will never go back to this location. My goal is not speed but accurate results. read more

I was just on the phone with someone for 25 minutes trying to get an appointment! They were extremely unprofessional and did not understand my basic questions. They kept asking me about my email username (which has the word dancer in it) and the fact that i used to be a tap dancer instead of helping me with trying to get scheduled to make sure i don't have breast cancer. I am extremely aggravated and angry about the lack of care exhibited by this person. he also asked why i wasn't able to pay out of pocket for a breast ultrasound in a very condescending way which is ridiculous for a health care system to treat patients. I would give Rayus five stars except for their scheduling! It can take up to an hour to get someone on the phone to make or change an appointment! This is unacceptable and unprofessional! I've had trouble scheduling and mri for over two weeks now they keep asking me for more information and now I have give it to them three times and still I can't make an appointment,and they say they will call me back. When they do call I STILL have to wait forever to get someone to answer. Unfortunately Rayus had bought out all the other diagnostic centers so we really don't have much of a choice! read more

So sad that Rayus bought ought our past provider. This is a large understaffed, poorly run large company. Sadly, they. don't keep up with changes to Medicare benefits. They update their systems only once year. This means if you need a procedure recently approved by Medicare, they won't know what to do about it for as long as a year! They quickly give you appointments for the test but then take a week or two to give you the results. DO NOT GO TO THEM. Get the script from your doctor for the MRI, CT Scan or other imaging needs and book it directly with another radiology center in Palm Beach area. Doctors may refer you to Rayus but do not accept that. read more

If I could give zero or negative stars to this shit show of dump, I would. Top quality healthcare is not a priority, implementing this new crapola system is. I work in information technology and its basic knowledge that when you implement a new system you keep the old one working until the new one is in place and does not disrupt business. It's called a migration plan. My mother is a patient and is in horrible, excruciating pain. She went for an MRI on November 11th and the damn report hasn't been read? Or dictation pending? That is the most horrible, negligible, and irresponsible form of patient care. Delaying the reading of an MRI for almost a month? Thank goodness it's not an urgent care for patients with chest pains. Do you not know your patients? Would you want your family members treated with such sewage quality treatment? Even reaching out to the manager of the office ON HER CELL PHONE got my mother nowhere. It's not the boots on the ground, it's the awful, greedy losers calling the shots who don't know a damn thing about patient care. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
