I had to have a set of three MRIs after a work injury. After finally reaching someone to make my…read moreappointment and getting through the language barrier, I went for my 8 am appointment. Shanae at the desk was wonderful and very accommodating. I was taken back by a guy named David. His cologne was so overbearing, by the time I left, I had a migraine. But that was just the start of a very unpleasant appointment. They had me in a wheelchair and seated outside the MRI room. There was someone in the room before me so I had to wait a very short time. The door popped open, the previous patient was getting off the table and walked out the door. I sat there in the doorway waiting for them to tell me to come in. The MRI table and the entire room was in fieldview. The technician was a young blonde girl. She removed the thin sheets off of the top of the table and underneath was a folded up blanket. There was also a pillow at the top of the table. She didn't change out the pillow, and she was just placing a folded seat on top of the folded blanket that was already on the table. The sheet did not cover this blanket that was probably placed on the table for added padding. About an inch or so of the blanket with showing all the way around. And it was filthy. It was clear that this blanket had not been changed out in quite a while. It was literally filthy. So the blonde hair technician told me sit up on the table. I asked her if she was going to change out the blanket that the last person was laying on. She said that she already did. I told her that I was standing in the doorway and I saw that she did not change it and that She changed the sheet that was on top, but not the blanket. She insisted that she changed it but she hadn't. Eventually, she'd be gradually changed out the blanket. She did leave the pillow in place and did not change out the pillow either. I was not in the mood for another argument so I let it go. I claimed up on the table, and she told me the lay down. The guy, David, told me to remove my shoes. I did. But upon laying down on this table, I was in agony. There was no way that I would be able to lay there through three mris. I told him I probably could get through one or two but definitely not three. He told me that he thought it I should do the Open MRI which is seated instead of laying down the entire time. And I said that I thought maybe that might be easier. And then he said "But I don't think you'll fit". I said WHAT? He then, in a very snotty, condescending manner, said "Well there's a weight limit, so I don't think you'll fit" I was stunned. I think my mouth probably dropped to the ground. But I kept my cool and I said well, what's the weight limit, and he said that it was 300 lb. I told him that I'm nowhere near 300 lb. And that I will look into it. I was livid. I still cannot believe that he actually said that to me. Then, when he was taking me back to get my pocketbook out of locker, he said to me, "You won't lay on a used blanket but you'll put your filthy shoes in my MRI machine. " and I told him that I've never been in an MRI machine so I didn't know what to expect. And had I known that you're not supposed to wear your shoes, I would have taken them off. And I would think in a professional, medical setting, that sterilization is common practice. I must be mistaken. Now I was really pissed. I gathered my things and went out to the front desk, he came around the corner and said to me, I hope you don't think that I'm going to wheel you down to your car. I said, of course not. I think I can get myself to my car. He took me to the elevator and he did end up taking me down to my car anyway because I think he knew what a jerk he was my entire appointment. I was extremely pissed off and left with a migraine and it was not even 9:00 a.m. I ended up going to another Advanced Diagnostic location in West Palm off 45th Street for the two back MRIs and then to the Southern Boulevard Location for the hip MRI. I had no issues at either of those locations and the staff was wonderful. AND , I fit in the Open MRI machine just fine. I will never ever go to the Burns Road location again.

But let me start by saying when I got there which I was early because I knew I would have to fill out paperwork. Appointment at 1130 got there at 1110. I signed in ok fine. About 15 minutes I was asked for my license normally when asked for an id they give me paperwork to fill out nope another 15 minutes go by and finally the woman behind the desk gives me stuff to fill out. I fill it out and went to give it back and no one seems to be back there. Why you ask because they were in the back with a woman laughing and chatting up a storm. So I leave my stuff on the desk. I wait and wait my paper work is still in the same spot. Finally someone comes back and I let her know I finished she says thank you and walks away leaving the papers in the same spot. Every once in a while I check to see if it has moved nope still in the same spot but this time garbage was on top of it. Finally the lady that was chatting in the back with the staff has come out to check out and yet still chatting showing pictures on her phone. But yet my paper work hasn't moved. Lady leaves and my stepmom gets up and asks how long is this going to take mind you I've been there for over an hour. The lady behind the desk says it's going to be after the lady that's before me. I had what I thought was my two year checkup because I was notified by OBGYN via text telling me it was time to make my routine appointment. When I called to make the appointment, I was told that it was too early to book, and that I should call back in two months. When I called two months later I was given an appointment for two weeks later. On the same day, I called and left a message for Dr Riley's PA to renew my script for HRT cream and I included the script # along with the pharmacy phone number. Since my prescription had no refills left, and my HRT cream container had broken, I did not expect an issue refilling the script before my appointment in two weeks time. Doctor Riley's PA called about the HRT cream informing me that Doctor Riley would not renew my prescription until she saw me first. When i explained that my appointment was not for two more weeks and that I was concerned about the side affects I would have in not applying the cream daily as prescribed, the assistant said that Doctor Riley will not renew the script until I was seen. She said that the HRT cream that I was using was never prescribed to me by Doctor Riley. I told her that I didn't call in the prescription. She' was, in my opinion, very unpleasant and was clearly not wanting to be bothered with trying to help straighten out the mess. After all of this. I received a bill for The office visit. As a Medicare patient you are entitled to free wellness visits every two years, so I've never had to pay and did not expect to get a bill. However, I did receive a bill for the visit. I called the billing department and was told that because I made the appointment before the two years that Medicare would cover, Medicare denied the claim. I told the billing department that I made the appointment based on their notification they sent to me. Her reply was that it was my responsibility to know when the two years had passed before making my appointment. I said I received notification from you to make the appointment twice. My problem is that I was out of script refills and I couldn't speak with the Doctor to get the refill. Now I'm responsible for a bill that I would not have if it were not for mistakes made by the staff of OBGYN of the Palm Beaches. When I asked the PA to check with the doctor again, her answer was no, it was confirmed by doctor Riley not to renew till seen. . She said Doctor Riley had never given me that script and would not renew until I was seen. I said I'm not crazy, I did not call the pharmacy and call in my own prescription. She said they had no record of the prescription that I was using and refused the refill. The same day, I went to Gardens pharmacy and had them fix the cream HRT container that I dropped so that I could at least have a few more days of the cream before my appointment. While I was at the pharmacy, I asked the pharmacist the date and the name of the Doctor that called in the script for me and she said it was Doctor Riley's office.

Not successful Then she put a cotton swab on the area and ordered me to hold it . Painful jabs on all three which I never experienced before . Referred me to another associate after 15 minutes who was unable to use the same arm Nor my other due to limited range of motion . Our only option was to draw blood from my hand , which i declined ,( too painful) I left a urine sample and asked them to send that to my medical provider , they declined and sent me a nasty phone message beginning with the words " We won"
