I'm genuinely disappointed with my experience at Beaches MRI. From start to finish, the process was disorganized, poorly communicated, and frustrating. After my doctor confirmed that my insurance approved the MRI and sent over the order, I followed his advice and called Beaches MRI directly to schedule, just in case the referral wasn't received or they were too busy to reach out. I called Friday morning around 9:30 AM and was sent to a voicemail that claimed it was "after hours." I initially assumed they were closed on Fridays, but later learned that this is just their default voicemail when no one answers -- a fact I confirmed when I had to call again to confirm their address and someone answered after getting the same message. Despite leaving a voicemail Friday morning, I didn't receive a call back until Monday afternoon. When I mentioned this delay, the receptionist casually apologized. I scheduled my appointment and asked multiple times about timing because, as a parent, my days are tightly packed and I have to coordinate care, rides, and meals for my family. I was told the MRI itself would take no more than 25 minutes. On the day of my appointment, I found myself with an extra hour and called to see if I could come early. Initially, they told me they were fully booked -- understandable -- but a few minutes later, I received a call that they had a cancellation and could take me early. They ask that patients arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork, but I had already completed everything online as instructed. I immediately got in the car and, despite hitting every red light, still arrived 40 minutes early. Since my paperwork was already submitted, I expected a quick turnaround. Instead, I sat in the waiting room with no internet, watching a cooking show, for 40 minutes -- up to my original appointment time. Then I was brought back, changed into a gown, and sat in the hallway for another 10 minutes. At this point, I was already 25 minutes past the time I had been told I would be finished with the test. Morgan, the receptionist I'd spoken to earlier, had assured me I'd be done in time to meet my other obligations. Instead, I was left scrambling, 30 minutes behind schedule, trying to keep things on track for my family. And just when I thought the experience was done, the front desk staff asked for my ID and insurance as I was leaving. What were they doing the entire time I was waiting in their lobby? This kind of poor service -- from miscommunication and misleading time estimates to lack of follow-through -- is unacceptable. I'm tired of businesses not valuing my time or being honest about expectations. I was told the MRI would take 25 minutes max, with only 17 minutes of scan time. In the end, I spent over 90 minutes there for something that was promised to be quick and simple. There are plenty of imaging centers in the area -- I highly recommend going somewhere else. Friendly and caring personnel. The woman who did the mri was just so very nice. I did not have to wait more than 5 minutes.

I waited two weeks for an appointment that I scheduled over the phone. When I showed up, I was told "you're not even in a system". I was not happy, as I had to schedule a surgery before year end. They booked me for next day, just one foot, although I needed both. I showed up next day, waited 45 min. While waiting, one person came for his appointment and was told the exact same thing: " you're not even in the system " his appointment was also rescheduled. Technician was excellent. Front office could use lessons on politeness. I was not told to bring a mask. I asked if they had one and was rudely told to leave. Gratefully I had one in car , I am also claustrophobic and told them when I made the appt . They forgot. I am a dr and if my office staff acted this way they'd be gone. Again Tech was very caring and considerate . He was only saving grace. read more

Been using this place for years, As of today I am done. Had an appointment but unfortunately I lost my mask before entering. They refuse to give me one. They told me to go to a store and buy one. Everyone knows they would have 1 extra mask in this establishment. Such a disgrace. The individual that I first saw at the counter was so rude. She could care less. read more

Always a good experience. Just had a MRA, in the regular machine and it all went well. Love that I am given the disc with my scans as well as them sending it to my physician. Highly recommend this facility. read more

I've been here a couple of times, and I love this place. From Dominique answering the phone, getting me an appointment so quickly and helping with the authorization to the MRI technician, Pat, who explained the exam every step of the way, friendly as can be. An amazing experience! My most recent visit to Beaches Open MRI was once again exceptional. The facility itself is beautiful very central with state of the art equipment and scans. I wrote a review on Google as well and cant say enough about this place. I am highly claustrophobic and they put me at ease every moment of the way. When i made the appointment they understood my fears and were sympathetic. The staff is great and one of the great things is with the helmet they put on me for my brain scan. It had a mirror built in so i was able to see the technician doing the scan and palm trees in the back. The tech talked to me throughout tell me how i was doing well and how much time each scan was. If i ever need any kind of scan i will go only to Beaches MRI read more

In my opinion, I would much rather prefer going to Jupiter Medical Center or Advanced Diagnostics group for an MRI While the tech that performed my MRI was very friendly, the other office staff failed to do things that they said they would do. Also, while being the sole person in the lobby waiting for my appointment, I overheard the office staff discussing how they had issues with other clients appointments. They discussed all of this while the tech who was supposed to be performing my MRI participated in the conversations. Then he asked where his next patient was and I raise my hand and said it's me I can hear you all through the glass I've been sitting here just waiting. While they had the opportunity to return my report to my doctor, they blew me off didn't return my call as they said they would (I had to call them back), and they simply said well it wasn't submitted as a urgent matter so therefore, we will not act to expedite it. They lack compassion and have a tone of belligerence. If you have the option, go elsewhere. read more

I unfortunately have had a history of needing MRI's. This is the only place I will go. I never have to wait, they are extremely punctual, and the staff are all wonderful to work with. Darlene is the first face you see when you arrive and she is great and organized. Then Frank so has your back for insurance coverage. "Thank you Frank" Then David is so encouraging while you are in the MRI machine. David and Patrick are both great and professional MRI technicians. Thank you all for making a tough week easier. Went for an MRI and I thought this place made the experience so much better then the hospital environment. It's relaxing and calm, the staff was really nice. They had candy at the front desk that made me kids happy! There is a room for the to Leave your personal belongings in and you hold the key. The gentleman who did my MRI kept me up to date (really minute) of everything from holding my breath to coughing if needed and you can listen to music while the test is being done. If you need to get an MRI I can't say enough good things about this place. My kids said a lady came around offering water and snacks while people waited in the waiting room. Tonight was a nightmare I was treated rudely and he was abrupt with me telling me not to move or fall asleep. What's your problem pal I've only had over a dozen MRI's I'm real clear on the procedure ! Also what's the point in putting headphones on if no music can be heard! First part I was told would be 17 minuets more like 30 minuets! This dude needs to take a long vacation and reassess his professionalism I'm not a lab rat I'm a human being! I have been here quite a few times and have always had quite a pleasant experience, especially for getting an MRI. The staff is all accommodating and nice. Sometimes there's a wait but it's never waited for more than 10-15 minutes which is completely fine. MRI tech (imaging tech?) is very friendly and personal. Always asks what type of music I like and is very patient if you accidentally move...wgic Update on my review: usually I have a wonderful experience. I had to go back for a second MRI. I made my appointment for 7 pm on a Monday. I confirmed it with the receptionist before I hung up. I got a call the next day confirming my "7 pm MRI appointment on Monday". I get to beaches and I'm waiting well past 7. I asked the receptionist when my MRI was and she told me 8 pm. When I said I got a confirmation call for 7pm she said "no your appointment is at 8". I was livid because I specifically made it for 7 for a personal reason and confirmed it. I knew I wasn't crazy because the women who came in after me was told her appointment was 8 pm but when she got there they told her 8:30. It is fine if schedules change but be honest and tell your patients instead of lying and making them feel crazy. David is the only reason I come back to this place. read more

This place is amazing!! Frances called me as soon as my Dr. sent the script and I was seen the same day for my MRI. The results were available the next morning. I will not go anywhere else but to Beaches MRI! I'm recommending everyone to come to this facility. read more

I've had 4 MRIs done in the past 10 years for various parts of my body. This facility is top notch. They are always on time. Staff from receptionist to MRI technician are pleasant. Reports are always ready when promised. read more

What a hassle. I have been to this MRI facility twice before without incident. My 3rd time has been a mess. I could not open the CD provided to me which I had no problem with my previous two CD Roms. I am told it will open. I ask to be shown-- I basically got a NO. I ask for a detailed receipt. I am told "not available until the charge goes through billing". Since when can one not generate a receipt . I am heading out of the country in 4 days and need the receipt. Won't come Back. read more

As aesthetically appealing as this place looks, they overcharged me $53.64. I wrote them a letter including the amount my insurance company said they contracted with them for and Beaches MRI ignored my letter. I wanted to go to another facility but the referring physician wanted me to go to Beaches. I am going inform that physician about their practices, and remind him about patient choice. MRIs have a bad reputation in South Florida for a reason. read more
