I had to come here for an MRI, and I was terrified going in. After a really bad hospital experience, my anxiety was definitely escalated. Had no idea I had a fear of closed spaces. Add that to the list! I spent days meditating and psyching myself up just to be able to get through this experience-- and honestly, it worked. I told the attendant about my previous experience and how scared I was, and she was genuinely shocked because of how well I handled it. I came fully prepared: bonnet, eye mask, deep breathing, the whole thing. They offered music during the MRI, which helped a lot, and between that and my meditation, I made it through . The wait beforehand was kind of long, and I did have to stay a bit after my MRI for an additional thing, which wasn't ideal. But overall, it was a decent experience, especially considering how anxious I was going in. If you're nervous about MRIs, try meditation -- the center was busy but my tech was patient and understanding. read more

First of all these folks submitted the wrong codes for a CT scan -- I spent two months fighting with United Health Care to obtain the scan. After the scan was scheduled (2-2-26) Rayus insisted I owe a co-pay AND the remainder of my deductible-- imagining is not subject to the deducible and I tried to explain it -- long story short I put the entire amount on a credit card so that I wouldn't have to reschedule the scan. The next day I provided Rayus with a hard copy stating that I only owed the co-pay. Rayus policy was not to refund until after the claim had been processed. I now had to wait for UHC to process and I tried to get a refund in mid March. Rayus claims they refunded to my cc the over charge -- to date (4-10-26) there is no credit on my cc from Rayus. I called today spend one hour and fourteen minutes trying to rectify this and get a refund. Long story short -- Rayus claims they processed the refund on March 16 -- maybe they did process the refund but not to my credit card. I tried to speak to someone in charge of the operations -- totally denied so the only option was for me to dispute the charge on my credit card. Shame on you folks at Rayus for making someone who is ill fight for money that NEVER should have been charged. Be aware of your benefits and bring your policy -- so sad these folks call themselves caring providers -- I call them scammers. read more

I have a second scheduled MRI tomorrow at the palm beach lakes location as I waited 45 minutes for my MRI here which caused me to miss an ortho appointment. I received a text message stating the time as an hour earlier than what I scheduled. I have currently been on hold for 37 minutes trying to find out the correct time. Scheduling this MRI was a nightmare. I had VERY long wait times and the first person that came on the phone was very rude and incompetent. I called back a week later, and it took almost 30 minutes to get the appointment scheduled and now there's a conflict in what she told me and what I'm receiving in a text message. This is very unprofessional and I will not be doing another MRI with Rayus nor recommending them as there are many other professional places in South Florida who answer calls in a timely manner and employee professional people. read more

This Saturday, yesterday, I went to the PBG location to actually pick up my records. The 2 girls up front were so incredibly helpful to me. When I called to see if my records were ready, they weren't, yet they made sure they would get ready for when I arrived. The reason I was picking up my records was because I was told they dont take my insuranc. I have been a patient at PBG Reyus for year. The girls that were working the front desk cared so much and took the time to look into this without me even asking. Come to find out, my Insurance Reyus still does take. Whoever I spoke with to make my CT and MRI was adamant my insurance wasn't one that was taken any longer. I wish I knew her name. Thanks to the 2 young ladies that cared and were so helpful. The MRI scan itself was great, but scheduling the appointment and the follow up was a disaster! The MRI technician was well trained and very efficient. I would give her a 5. My doctor sent over the MRI request 3 times to Rayus who claimed they never received it. I had to physically bring in the order to make the appointment. Rayus claims they sent the MRI results to my Doctor a few days later, but when I never heard anything from my Doctor after 30 days, I called his office and they told me they never received anything from Rayus. I had to call Rayus and ask them to send over the MRI results to my doctor. Calling Rayus is a nightmare. A recorded message that has been playing for the last several months says that because they are updating their system, that I should expect longer than normal telephone wait times. My dr ordered a bone density test. I called this office to make the appt. It took over 15 minutes to schedule. A couple days later another person called to gather the same info I had previously given. This took over a 1/2 hour because I absolutely could not understand this guy. It was seriously bad. He called me back twice because he put in incorrect information. They tell you in a text to arrive 1/2 hour early. Not sure why. I waited almost 45 minutes for the test. The tech Lourdes was argumentative over my menopause date. I told her that I was unsure of the timing so she said she would just put age 55 in the computer. I told her that that was not accurate because I did not know so she proceeded to tell me that she had to put a number in because she couldn't proceed further with a blank spot. Then she gave me misinformation about my hysterectomy as it relates to menopause. it really isn't her expertise and I don't think she should be necessarily telling me when I went into menopause the test was quick only about three minutes but when I asked her about the report, she said "I have no idea I'm not the radiologist " . I asked her if I could get the report off the portal and she said "maybe" I asked her about the timing and she said " I have no idea it could be anywhere between one day and 50 days". I'm not the radiologist ". What????? How about some accountability? Not sure I'd return to this facility. It was below average in my opinion. read more

Horrible. My appointment was 3:40, I got there 3:30 and got out 6PM! Because of 4 people mistake communication. MRI tech told me that it will take 15 min but it took more than 15 min to take image done. Then she told me to ask CD at front desk to make sure to mention that a doctor ordered rush. I walked up to front desk ask for CD and mentioned rush by a doctor. I waited 50 min nothing. So I walked up to front desk. This girl had my disk next to her, said acad is ready but not report. I asked her if I can leave without report, guy next to her told me that if I want to leave I have to sign a form, it will take additional 20 min to get report. So I waited another 20 min. Nothing down. I had to walk up again to front desk, ask to check on my report. She called back and was told not ready yet. I waited another 40 min, asked again. They called back again then I was called to take a call because someone want to speak with me. This girl over the phone explained that front desk did explain that doctor who wrote report left at 4 so I cannot get report today. I waited for nothing also found out I could get report online. Everyone who contacted at this facility gave me wrong information. I am filing complains to corporate read more

DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give them negative stars I would. If you can go to ANY other imaging or testing facility DO IT. RAYUS is absolutely horrible and they do NOT care about their patients getting the care they need in a timely manner. After one doctor sent in my imaging referral, they claimed to never have received it so my chiropractor sent it through. Called and immediately got everything handled when MY multiple phone calls trying to get in were unsuccessful. THEN, after I made certain to provide them with my new insurance info and made it clear not once but twice that my new insurance started 1/1 AND they specifically scheduled me a few days later for authorization/ approval timing they STILL managed to run it through my old insurance company. Told me I'd have to reschedule which would take over a month by which time my injury will likely heal improperly defeating the entire purpose and causing me MORE pain and injury. I literally could not say anything worse about this facility and its employees. From the back end running insurance to the employee who I dealt with the day of my appointment, to the staff running the actual MRI, everyone was horrible. They rushed through the MRI and barely spoke to me when instructing me, as if I was inconveniencing THEM. I regretfully paid the cash price to be done with it and more importantly to not delay my care and they wouldn't even match the copay pricing. So I'm out of pocket nearly $100 more than necessary AND TO MAKE IT WORSE, after all the time went by of dealing with this they made me sit and wait to get squeezed in. I have been here twice. Both times they tell me that the information they needed for me to be screened was not here. Why don't you call me before I drive for 4 minutes to get here? Why isn't someone prechecking appointments to make sure they have the info in advance. And each time it was something that they said they would take care of. I made an appointment for a MRI neurogram on 6/28/23. I stressed that it was for a Neurogram when we made the appointment. I was assured " no problem". Then my Dr., sent the prescription for the test that also clearly said MRI Neurogram w/ and Without dye. So yesterday when my wife and I got there and again spoke to the desk about getting a copy of the disk when the test was finished. I get called in for the IV and as I'm sitting and the tech is preparing I casually asked the difference between a Neurogram and a regular MRI. The tech said I'm not sure sure let me check. When she came back she said she has bad news they don't perform that test. REALLY.. I think the schedulers and preparers need to have some training or another level to screen requests. read more

Wow, I foolishly ignored the warnings in these one star reviews. I had a simple CT scan, figured they couldn't screw it up, they did! Had to wait two weeks for the appointment, even went to their office the other day to pick up a dye to take, all good. Get a call Friday morning, they have to cancel my apt. for Monday. They say my Dr. did not get them notes they needed to submit to insurance. They called and contacted him by phone and fax and "he did not respond". His very good assistant, who I have years of experience with says they never heard anything from Rayus. Why didn't Rayus contact me? "We dont do that". Can we still go Monday if I get you the information this morning I asked? "No". Wow, you cant get much worse than that! Dont try them! read more

I went in on the same day for two MRIs from two different doctors. Afterwards they handed me one CDROM. Rayus said BCBS Insurance only covers one CDROM for the two different doctors. CDROMs cost less than $0.20 each. So for 20 cents they refused to provide me with a separate CDROM for each physician who ordered a different MRI. The female manager wanted to charge me $20 to separate the one combined CD into two separate CDs so I could give the correct one to each doctor. She was rude, snotty, and obviously had no interest in making their customer happy for twenty cents. I guarantee she would never work for me with that attitude. I called BCBS who told me I should have gotten two CDROMs, one for each physician. Beware of lazy people who don't want to do their job correctly. Ben gives the same replies (lip service) but doesn't seems to fix the problems. The office manager doesn't appear to know how to manage the office and certainly not its customers. I suspect she doesn't have checklists or procedures for staff to follow and doesn't understand the importance of providing good or even acceptable service to customers. Also, the bald guy who first rejected my request is just as bad as the office manager or has zero authority to make such as simple request to change the one combined CD into two separate CDs. Maybe they're lazy or maybe they don't like their job or just don't care. read more

Would select no stars if it was a choice. Had a horrific experience with the front desk employee named Marlene. She was extremely rude and condescending. Her staff kept giving me wrong information while I stood there in pain. ( I was there to get a CT image of a broken leg) Even though they kept changing the information given to me (about timing of reports) she took no accountable and would not acknowledge the error. Yet she continued to be nasty with me even as I explained I was in pain and just trying to get a straight answer. The staff in the back managing the equipment were delightful and wonderful. Very clean facility, however the man that attempted to help me book an appointment over the phone had a bit of an attitude with me, sucking his teeth when I asked for clarification regarding why I couldn't book an appointment for a CT scan with & without contrast. I have been to the Palm Beach Gardens location three times over the past couple of months and I can't say enough good things about this new location. The offices are spacious and clean. The desk staff couteous and professional... and quite frankly keep their cool with some really nasty patients! All three procedures were quick and easy. Cindy was one of the first assistants to ever get one of my rolling veins on the first go! And MRI asistant Brye was kind and very professional... I was in and out fast. I highly recommend this location. Not sure why the negative reviews are event there... they really need to visit some of the other centres to draw comparisons. I have been to many and will always choose to go back to Gardens Rayus. read more

This the WORST run facility I have ever experienced. After waiting more than a week for an appointment for a cardiac scan, when I arrived I was informed that I should have received a call that the machine was broken. I checked my I phone. No such call was ever made. Further when I asked for a supervisor I was handed someone's business card. The orders from the cardiologist were "stet". They also said no other facility is available. Disgusting customer service. I will never go to any Rayus location again and urge you to choose another company. read more

It has now been 2 1/2 weeks since my MRI and I haven't heard back after leaving a message. I again tried calling, no one answers the phone - this happened several times. They wait until the day before to do this and cause major condition. All along my insurance had approved. Check in process and staff are completely clueless. Called to schedule appointment. Agent was difficult to understand nor did he understand most of what I said. I had to spell my last name over 3 times and eventually he hung up on me. I had to call back to speak to a different agent. Got a call the evening before my appointment rescheduling due to the fact that the x-ray machine broke. Went to the new appointment around 11:45 a.m and was told "the technician was not in today". They did not inform me prior to my arrival. 2 weeks after having X-rays done, I received two phone calls advising that my doctor ordered X-rays. Returned their calls on both occasions and was told there are no new orders. I then had to check with my physician who did not order. I do not trust them and will never go back them. read more

I just took my mom to an appointment at the PBG location yesterday (Friday, March 31, 2023) and had requested a wheel chair ahead of coming to the appointment by stopping by in person earlier in the week. When I got there, the front desk person said they were going to get the wheel chair, but they never did. Then the tech came to get my 80 year old mother (who had had knee and wrist surgery from a car accident and was using a cane) but the tech did not have the wheel chair with her. We re-requested it (the third time) so the tech went back to get what turned out to be a rolling "wheel chair" with NO arms or sides and NO foot rests. My mom held her legs out in front of her and used her cane to balance - this was a dangerous situation - if her legs had dropped and hit the floor or became stuck under her as the chair was being pushed by the tech, there could have been substantial pain and possibly an injury. We asked where the arm and foot rest attachments were and the tech really didn't know. We had to come back for a second visit the same day, and a different tech brought out the same chair - same issues. If my mom could not have lifted her legs up through using her stomach and thigh muscles, it would not have been possible to use this chair. And as I mentioned, it was not safe or reasonable to expect a patient to physically sustain lifting their legs and balancing while being wheeled to a procedure. Please get a real wheel chair to help your patients in your beautifully-decorated, state-of-the-art facility.
